How to find weather ICO is scam or not

There are few things which we can check to avoid scams.

1. Do check their whitepaper , if you don't have any technical knowledge then you can take help from google to comes to know about project reviews because there are many website who review about ICO's
2. Do check their Team members, try to find their social accounts and do some background about them and their past experience.
3. Check out their Roadmap, check out discussion of projects on bitcointalk,reddit,telegram and other social channels.
4. Check their partnership details. Try to contact their partners to confirm it.

As once you select that you want to participate in ICO, then what you have to keep in mind.
1. No one from team member will contact you personally through telegram or other channels to contribute to you. Only ways of contribution are either through their website or that is mentioned on their website.
2. There are many fake admin profiles on telegram , they will personally message you and will give you contribution address to send ETH/BTC or whatever. Don't listen to them and ban them immediately.
3. Only trust official websites, Admin and team member.
4. you will get email from hackers , don't open them.
5. use 2fa and other securities to your accounts on exchanges.

Recently i get email from fake cryptopia exchange team that someone is trying to access my account. I click on that link and found that it was almost similar to real cryptopia link. So avoid these types of email.

There are many questions being asked by the people how to find the best ICO, i think OP provide some reason to find out the team and their profiles. Now a days we are seeing there are many similar projects but how to find the best one, follow the steps mentioned by the OP.

You’re right bro. Especially in ICOs one has to be very careful, so you don’t jump into ICOs and waste your precious time working on something that will all end up as failure. You should know their social media account and follow with them to more about them. Good exchangers will have a good support team that won’t keep you waiting for a whole week without giving you a reply or solving your problems.

Good support team will reply your messages within 24hrs time and have your problem settled. When it comes to being secured online, you shouldn’t open emails from an unknown sender and should also make use of difficult passwords and 2factor authentication.

In my opinion courage and patience are very important for investment in cryptocurrency. The price is volatile and it might down the price you bought bitcoin. So you will have to wait for good times of bitcoin price for this patience is mandatory and if you want to be good trader, you should gain all the required data about bitcoin before you enter in this world.

I think that everyone should search by himself to find out the best ICO, because if is told by somebody and then he is not satisfied he will be mentally disturbed. Therefore I think that the best thing is to observe the chart carefully to decide which one is the best and where I should invest my money. Think and gain knowledge about what you want to do.

A signature/bounty campaign that you choose to participate in is something else, while investing your money in any ICO is quite a different job.
Guess what it is good to participate in the signature campaigns but the earnings from these campaigns are not enough to offer you a lavish life. The reason why people invest in the crypto is that it has a great margin of earning. If you select the right ICO you have a chance to earn a 100x in less than a year, most probably sometimes in 3 to four months.
But for the people who don’t have a capital to invest, participation in signature campaigns works great for them. Honestly speaking I got my capital amount from the earnings from signature campaigns.

The problem is those people enter the market of cryptocurrencies with wrong ideas, they do not take the time to learn about the possible scams and how to avoid them, they want to earn money as fast as possible not understanding that the fastest method is the slowest one, which is to learn as much about the market as possible, to read as many whitepapers as you can, to read the forum and finally when you find a good project invest in it.
