Google announced that starting June, it will ban all crypto related ads. Facebook also recently banned ICO ads on thier platform. two of biggest tech companies: Duopoly. I think this is creating an opportunity for real decentralized platforms for crypto and blockchain related stuff.

So after Facebook, it is the turn of Google? My only question is why they are not banning the ads immediately? Why they want to wait for another 3 months? Anyway, it is nice to have some of these corporations running scared of crypto.

this is a NON event.

anyone that has not heard of crypto and has not investigated it already for themselves is likely to be a zero net worth individual anyway.

mostly these adverts are scamming ico shits that are a deteriment to this arena so this is good news.

mean while TWITTER TESLA/ SPACE X  are donating milions to lightning network and many more big players starting to dive in to btc and real crypto projects.

Is this the reason for the current dip?

Does anybody have an idea how much of Google ads is connected to ICO. I think is s small percentage and people are just panic.

When Facebook announced the ban on advertising ICO, they began to block all advertising immediately, and in this case it is still not accurate, so do not despair.

Google's update of its Financial Service policy that means a ban of all crypto-related advertisements starting in June 2018.The company will no longer allow ads about cryptocurrency-related content, including initial coin offerings (ICOs), wallets, and trading advice across any of its ad platforms.

For facebook, it's a logic defensive decision : FB provide business solutions for advertisement, and bounty hunters make the job without any earning for FB... so they ban bounty hunters (I had two successive account suspended... second one without any kind of warning!)

If google also think about prohibing crypto ads, maybe it's because they don't want do support competition and dont want to "saw the branch on which they are sitting".

I think it is OK since the main social medium of the ICO projects are facebook, twitter, reddit, Telegram channel and so on. Only a few users may use google to find details information of ICO project.

Google certainly did this not because he wanted, but because the FBI decided that way, so to avoid problems with the law, they decided to do so. I think that Google will regret it and most likely will change its decision

this will not stop the crypto to be more popular because there are still more search engines that can be used so there's no need to be worried. We must continue to support crypto especially they are experiencing some issues that needs to be stopped in order for the crypto community to be calm.

Some people say that Facebook and Google companies have come together and hope to release a new Cryptocurrency to the market. I think that's not the way to do it. Because this Cryptocurrency is unbelievable in the future. This ad can never be erased.

Crypto is all over the internet and it is widely used all over the world so I don't think google will completely ban it. Maybe, it will just impose rules and regulations for the people's safety because scammers are proliferating. This step might just do us good.

They can do the banning no matter what will be the outcome and consequences for the cryptocurrency will be, users and investors who are just surfing a social networking site or conducting a little research in Google took the worst toll for this scam ICO's and other platforms, unbelievably return of investments in a short period of time and malicious promises which are the most publicity stunt of this scums, this will be a step to cleanse all the negative buzz that made by the scammers however infestations of the scammers to the other platforms of advertisement will be the side effect of the major bans.

Some days ago I heard that Facebook going to ban Crypto Ad & now Google also want to ban Crypto Ad, normally these ads are welcomed by the companies.
I think in near future Twitter will also ban Crypto Ad.

Might possible they want to regulate crypto ads & if yes then it will be good news and will restrict scam ICO’S.

Yes it is a bad thing for the crypto users but I think it will not affect total crypto currencies investment and users so the investors should not panic with their investment and you will be continue investing.

Almost immediately? I kept seeing some crypto/ICO ads.

Maybe Google will be harsher in their regulations though, who knows.
