New update from alpha-t
As stated in our last update, we were going through some design iterations, these changes were sent for prototyping and we have received back our prototypes. The initial power-up and testing are successful, we are currently performing some more intense testing by mining for longer durations to identify any fine tunings required. The mechanical enclosure, SOM interface board and other accessories are all ready. Once the testing of the SCRYPT boards are completed we will proceed with integration of the viper system and mass manufacturing/assembly. We will keep you updated on further advancements.
Lastly we would like to add that we offer our sincerest apologies for any issues throughout development, when developing a new technology such technical delays were out of our control. We hope to deliver a product that has no issues during operation. And would also like to state that if you feel we have wronged you in any way we sincerely apology and hope to make up for it.
Please find below the images of the new SCRYPT board and the enclosure:

What a joke these guys. Announcement in Nov 2013 (Difficulty 500,000) about taking preorders for hardware. Now is Oct 2015 and they still are working out design bugs! Lucky I didnt fall for this crap as I was tempted back then but the Antminers were just coming out and to mine with those and convert to LTC was still economical.

This is the sleazy, unscrupulous type of person you are dealing with. When I called him out on the fact that their own terms stated they would not ask for final payment until 8-10 weeks before the systems shipped, here was his response: Our terms and conditions stated we would take payment 8 to 10 weeks before shipment, this does not state we cannot take payment any time earlier than this. This was a statement to suggest we would need money on account at least 8 to 10 weeks before shipment so we can pay for the rest of the manufacturing, this was not a DEADLINE of shipping. We would still be accepting payments 8 to 10 weeks before we ship, so our terms are still active in that respect. Yeah. He has NO trouble "reworking" or "massaging" the intent of his terms of order, but you'd better believe YOU'RE going to be held to the LETTER of the terms, regardless of how you spin them.

Meanwhile, Alpha is having it's ass handed to them in court. really, this issue of payment time frame is only one aspect that is indicative of their behavior. the larger issues are their fallacious claims that these were B2B sales and the applicable consumer laws in the UK. they don't have a legal leg to stand on, and their continued lame defenses of their actions and failed attempts to reframe the intent of the original language isn't helping them one iota in the courtroom.

They also sent out a request for final payment on 5/22/2014 and tied that request to their assertion that they were nearing completion "We're happy to inform you that development is finalizing and we are on track for shipment in July. We will soon receive our chips at which time we will have finished up on development and can begin assembling the devices. Therefore, it is now time to collect the remainder of the funds for your order(s)." Of course now he's singing a different tune, but it's pretty clear that they are setting up to collect their money within this 8-10 week window. If not, what exactly did he mean by that ^^^^^ This, therefore that. We're on track for July shipment (in 8-10 weeks) therefore, it is now time. that was their basis for requesting payment, clearly tied to their timeline of shipping. he's nothing but a lying sack of shit. and the record shows it, which is his real problem.

Guys, You are all right. The courts have already sided with you. No use in steaming over it. Take some action, get your money back. I've already been paid in full, PLUS court costs. So have many of my members. Make a phone call to LPC Law: http://fightalpha.net/index.php?topic=26.0

Make a phone call to LPC Law: http://fightalpha.net/index.php?topic=26.0I was going through them, but they didn't exactly instill a huge feeling of confidence in me about getting money out of Alpha. There was limited success with other clients, going straight to the bank for refunds, before they moved their money out of it. Now it appears the only recourse most people have is to either call Akram to court to give an accounting of his assets and their whereabouts (expensive) or start a winding-up petition and force Akram to settle or have his business shut down (also expensive). This is a perfect example of why the UK needs to get its act together and create laws to support class actions. It's just prohibitively expensive for individuals to pursue justice, even when it's ABUNDANTLY clear that the company is in the wrong and its leadership is corrupt.

So have many of my members. Make a phone call to LPC Law: http://fightalpha.net/index.php?topic=26.0 GUYS I have been burned by SMALL CLAIMS SOLICITORS and any recommendations from fightalpha, fightalpha is just a commercial for these companies, you can just tell by the advertising. A way for people to make money from people who have already lost money. Its a SCAM in itself. I would contact a reputable law firm, if possible where they do some sort of no-win no-fee. Either way do not use fightalpha's ways, i followed their guides and lost lots of money in claim form and paying their advertised law firm. And also lost money in 3rd party debt... And I did not pay this money directly to court either, the law firm took the money and paid the court (and took their own fee). I would advice not using commercial fightalpha and look at other smarter means. And I do not know about the credibility of all these court cases that are so called being won and being paid because I have not seen a penny or any success. Be weary of people when it comes to giving more money to get more money, it is just a scam in itself. LPC and Small Claims Solicitors btw does not guarantee you any success so you cannot even get any money back from this law firm that is taking advantage of us already losing so much money I am also wondering how much commission owner of fightalpha is getting from forwarding cases to these law firms. Cryptocurrencies was meant to save us from such fraudlent people from all angles, First Alpha, now this new website and forum messages.
