As far as I'm concerned, you can avoid risks only if you hold.

Even that is no guarantee! Long term you will lose if no person will buy crypto, because there is a new product at the market or there is a crisis in the economy.

"no pain, no gain" works in cryptocurrencies, without taking risk, it is hard to make money but i always say dont take a risk that can destroy your finance.

It is true. Risk can't be avoided especially in trading. The bigger the risk, the bigger the profit you will gain. But if you don't do it right, the bigger the risk, the bigger you will lose.

For me, the risk is essential in every field ( especially in  trading) to win a lot of money. Furthermore, when you are afraid, then you will never achieve what you want.
Many businessmen/women (billionaires) and  successful traders become rich because they take risks.

Come on , overcome the fear, make a risk , we will only live once.

Obviously yes, if you want to make big profit, then you have to take risk. Risk is directly proportional to Profit i.e higher the risk, higher the amount of profits and vice-versa. In every business, there is some kind of risk involved though the amount of risk may vary ,but risk is always there. If you want to play safe, then save your money in banks ,but remember we get nearly 3-5%p.a interest on saving accounts and 6-8%p.a interest on Fixed Deposits(As per Indian Banking System). So this amount of interest is too low, So If you want to earn higher in less time, you have to take risk.

Yes you are right, the profit will be always depending on how much investments you have made and that is the reason why you should always higher your patience in order to avoid losing investments when the market price are dropping.

This quote is interesting OP. If you just want to stay in your comfort zone then you might not be able to know the things that you can do or good at. You should explore and know what your abilities and you can only discover it if you go out there and take the risk. Most of those successful people take the risk even if they aren't sure of what would be the result of their actions and they are determined to attain their goals that's why they are where they are now. They have big profits and it didn't just happen overnight because it took hard work, patience, determination, and sacrifice although there are some who make big profits overnight but that are just exception.

there is no method to safely trade because everything is also risky ...
all you have to do to trade safely and profitably is by patience and don't get carried away by emotion, maybe it's the safest method to trade ...

joining a bounty or an airdrop is not a big risk because you dont need to invest any capital on them but there is a big possibility that you can earn boat loads of cash on them if ever you got lucky on your chosen ico .

  i already witnessed many people that they earn a lot just by only joining a bounty and an airdrop , of course i am one of them .

 therfor , your calculations above are not really true but i do somehow agree that if you bet a high amount of cash on a gambling , you can also earn a lot of profit if ever you win but of course the risk is also big .

Yes that right,  but before take any risk we should be also have strategy how to minimize the risk. Take risk is should be if want to make high profit,  and also should be make management of risk and money to avoided and to reduce  that risk. And the best risk in this life actually when we dont take any risk.
