It depends on how much you want to risk. The amount is limitless. You can start a little and eventually add more.  You can also start big and earn big but the risk is higher also. I guess there's really no specific amount. Just know how much you want lo loose and that's how much you want to invest.

You're right mate. It always depends on you how much you want to invest. Just invest an amounts that you can afford to loose because as of now, the price continous to dip. Never put an enermous amounts of money because the situation now in the market are really dangerous. Just wait a few more days until the price gets stable.

Ofcourse the amount that you are willing to lose if anything happens or worst come to worst. Because here in crypto is not for short term profit but for long term profit if you be impatient here you will lose all of your money so that's for you to find out how much you are willing to invest.

This is depend on the your target profit, but if you have purpose to gain huge profit and start by small amount you can use compound strategy to increasing the profit, could be start like $500 and compound it in a few month can be possible become $5000 in a few month.

The investment is proportional to your principal and your risk. The more you invest in the principal, the higher the risk you can bear, and the more profit you may have.
However, I suggest not to invest too much at the beginning.
But this time the market is not good, and now it has fallen a lot, I think it can be to investment.

Well, if you are a beginner I suggest to invest in a small amount. But if you feel that you have a capacity to handle it, much better if you invest big amount so that you can gain more earnings and it will be more profitable.

For me, a good investment is X10 in a year. From X5 to X8 I can invest but with more detailed analysis. Investments that give me less than X5 I do not consider. With such a plan, all my losses are covered by a lucrative investment. I am very satisfied with my plan

To become an investor, you do not need to have great opportunities and huge capital. The minimum amount for starting an investment is only $ 100-200. Starting small, you can significantly increase your money.

What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?

I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.

I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?

I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning  that into riches (the obvious dream).

For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.
The good amount of investment in crypto is the amount that you can afford to lose. Don't copy the mistakes of others that they put all their money in crypto without any thorough research and in the end they lose a lot because of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).

Investing is your own decision on how much do you invest and what coin will you invest. Be sure that the money that you use in invest is can't affect your daily needs, also in investing are risky you don't know what will happen in your investment but when you invest don't invest in only one, it's be nice if more.

As they say, invest only with free money, which you are ready to lose, in case of loss, then not to remain with a minus and debts

There is no exact amount to invest. And I agree with what you say mate that "invest only with free money". But we all know that every investment has its own risk. Invest at your own risk. It is also depends on your target profit.

You may start investing from $50 to $100 if you are not yet familiar enough how crypto market works and how those coins circulate in the market. It would be nice if you started in small amount to get your self familiarize how crypto investment works and you will definitely learn a lot in time. Different platform also offers different type of service and market strategies. You will be surprised when you realize that there are a lot of new things to learn about cryptocurrency.

Starting using small capital is good decision. If we more understanding about cryptomarket, we can increasing our capital and collecting good coin/token with good prospect. Beside that its much better if we are using our idle money so we not rushing to sell when market have high volatile

A good amount to invest in as much money as you can. But lest you invest all your money, maybe you can invest some of your money. Because if you invest all the money you have, if you lose your loss later.

And that also depends on the coins we choose, there is nothing wrong if it's investing with a high amount on the coins that really have a good future. Deepening in predicting the price from time to time it can determine or to decide how the right amount to invest in the selected coin.

If you are the newbie, do not risk with the great sums of money. Do not invest more than half a thousand (this is my personal opinion). When you see how the rules of the market work, you can invest more.

I think how much money you can also invest. If you have $ 10 you will find strategies to increase your capital quickly. If you have more than $ 1000 you can find long trade strategies.
