investment in crypto will still be profitable let alone the price of coins is down, we can get a lot of good coins for us to hold and we wait for the price of coins up to enjoy the results of our investment

What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?

I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.

I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?

I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning  that into riches (the obvious dream).

For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.
I believe that it is minimal to enter the exchange with a deposit of 1 thousand dollars. Then you can invest in several ICOs and diversify the risk

I think $ 1,000 would be enough to invest in cryptocurrencies. To at all understand, that here from what depends.

Any amount is good to start with.
It all depends on how much you do you have and that the money which you can quite easily afford to invest in this world of the crypto currencies. It is a good strategy to start the investment carrier with the small amount of money and then you can later increase the investment amount slowly but only at time when you are quite confident that more investment will bring positive results.

In a nutshell, investment amount is relative. It all depends on how much the investor has to invest and how much knowledge the investor has acquired to be able to make a good investment decision. Their is no small amount or big amount to invest. It depends on the investor

Let me tell you that $3k isn't small and many people would die to be able to have that much amount to invest into crypto. And for your question, any amount that you can afford to lose is good enough to invest into the crypto markets.

This is really relative to the individual person's finances.

A solid place to start is 10% of your yearly earnings. Every month put 10% away to invest in a new crypto you find interesting, this way if the market is low you have a great opportunity to buy, if the market is high you hold that 10% for the next dip.

Pushing yourself to invest a given number (like $10k) could lead to unneeded stress, most people can't invest too much because they can't afford to lose it, so go at it at your own pace. Start off small and analyze the market, once you get a feel for what's a good buy in price hold off until you see it. Eventually you'll learn to do a kind of slow day-trade, like a weekly or monthly trade, that teaches you gradually. Do this for a couple of years and suddenly you'll have better and better returns.

Slow and steady wins the race (until you strike gold with an ICO and buy that lambo).

Much amount to invest in the bitcoin or altcoin will be get and earn much amount with the profit, but we are the beginner is more better to invest not too much money at there, we have more knowledge about the cryptocurrency first before we invest much money at the bitcoin. by the way the amount $100 is enough for invest our money in the cryptocurency and will get much profit for trade in the short time, but you have ask the other before you invest your money.

If you are still a beginner, it is better if you start small, while observing how the market and this kind of investment works. But if you have already thoroughly understood the risks as well as the possible gains from crypto investment, and its movements, then you can invest as much as you want. The bigger the investment, the bigger the profit. Try to aim at least $20,000. What you are currently doing, adding more to it every once in a while, is good. Just do not forget that you should only invest the surplus money that you have.

There are no particular amount to start an investment great it is just a matter of luck in the coins you will buy because if that coins is just another shit coins then how much money you invest in their you will just gonna lose. But if you pick the right coins to invest in them you can start even in a lower price just start with $200 i guess but you can always increase that if you have an excess money because you do not want to buy investments rather than tp buy foods to eat.

I would not have invested much at first. Lots as much as you really do not mind losing, but nevertheless carefully choose a coin or a token.

I first began to take part in baunty campaigns in order to invest money in the crypt. I started with $ 300 for one coin, but it was not the best investment.

I think what a good amount to invest in crypto is needs an individual answer since we all do not possess the same financial strength.

For me, $ 100 initially was a very serious investment. Only then did I invest more when I started to take part in bounties.

The higher you invest the higher your profit will be. If you have the resources then invest higher. There is also a big risk in it. Make sure to separate the money for the families future and your investment to ensure that they are secure.

Anything you have however small it is. Bt when we are talking small, don't hope your 5$ will give you $1m within a month or few months. It just won't work out well.

ICOs are a high-risk way of fundraising. Never invest anything you can’t completely afford to lose.
ICOs are a high-risk way of fundraising. Never invest anything you can’t completely afford to lose.

If you are very rich why did not invest more. but if you have no extra money to invest it's to risky to invest. investment is good maybe your get invest we got double or triple. but if you not invest no money comes for you. for me im invest if i have an extra money. so if we high prices it's great and good for our futures.
