Just spend the amount that you are willing to lose. Crypto is not easy money as you think you'll need to learn everything always do your own search here so you can minimize your losses on your trade and maximize the profits in your trade.

Personally, I invest an amount where my FOMO meets the amount that I’m somewhat ready to loose.
This make me feel good when to market increases and not to panic when it decreases.
I realized that the feeling if missing out on  an investment feels practically as bad as seein an investment decrease in value.

No matter what your initial capital is, it's more important where you put it. Once I had enough $50 to make $ 2000. I just bought Ant Shares(Neo) when they first appeared on the market.

If you are new in cryptocurrencies world it would be much better make investment by amount willing to lose,  can be only 5% of your total money. About $200 is enough to start and learn about strategies of investment in crypto, because the fluctuacion of crypto so high so for the better use that money for trading. Crypto trading promising high profit and you can turn that money in to many times by compound strategy.

I think that it is best to invest 15 or 20% of your saving so that you can make a nice profit but not be forced to sell loosing on the downs of the market. It is what I do at least.

If you want to try the investment, then $100-200 is enough and it will not be a pity to lose them. If we want to get at least a little substantial income, I would start with $1000. Well, do not invest more than you can afford.

That is certainly my opinion the amount you'll invest it depends on your ability. Because if you just have a small capital and you have the ability to analyze and have the experience to discuss the ICO. Of course, your results can certainly be more. And if you get the success you can allocate all your funds to invest.

The principle has been the same since the inception of investment in itself - the more the capital, the bigger the return. Anyway, in cases like this, it becomes relative in line with the goal you have set. What is your goal? After answering that, you can now plan on how to invest in potentially good coins by first studying a lot about that coin. Better still you can seek for advice from experts you know.

Personally I think it is going to vary for different people. It all depends on your financial strength and how much you can afford to lose. For some people $1k is nothing to them while some can't afford to throw away $200. But I think to earn some substantial you should be willing to start with $1k and above.

I believe it depends on the ICO's bonuses and long-term goals of the specific ICO. Also, do You invest in one Altcoin or separating Your investments to more?

It fully depends on a person's salary or his held money, no one can tell you the right amount of first investigation, but, in my opinion, I would suggest everyone to try with a few dollars first. After you have known how it works and got some profit from the low amount, try to invest around 7-10% of your monthly income, so you can get real money that can help you with your living wants.

You can not invest 100 or 200 bucks, because the profits are gonna be insignificant and worthless.
That is why i suggest you to do not join this market with less than a few thousand dollars.

If I think before investing you should learn first see the coin movement and learn and ask new you invest how much you invest Only you who know the answer the greater the amount you invest the greater the profit you earn And the less you invest, the less profit you can get Likewise with the loss will also be less

What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?

I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.

I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?

I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning  that into riches (the obvious dream).

For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.
For me the good amount to invest is high as you can. Meaning if you are holding bulks of money deposit it here in bitcoin because it is trusted and really true that you can earn here and can be double up you money so for me it depends on the person who owns money because it actually based on what money he has.

A good amount to invest is EXACTLY the quantity of FIAT money that you are ready to lose without getting really hurt. You should in no case risk more than that.

It is not an easy question.Depends on your savings and your wages,if you want more profit-you have to invest more.I think 1000-5000$  is the regular average amount.

Well how much are you willing to risk with? I think this is the first thing you need to ask yourself. Besides, I believe the amount you want to pour into cryptocurrency should be a personal information known only to you alone.
