What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?

I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.

I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?

I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning  that into riches (the obvious dream).

For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.

$1k dollar is already a decent amount of price to start with, investing 1k dollar will make you earn more profit because in trading, investing when the price is low and selling it again at the highest price will make you earn more profit.

For good investment must be the amount that you have saved and you can afford to loose, also consider that the more you invest the more you can get

As a beginning investor, I would suggest you invest as much as you can without actualky endangering your financial security with theamount you have invested. A few hundred dollars is fine. But you could invest as much as you want ib tge world of cryptpcutrency. The only rhing you have to keep in mibd is not endangering your financial security while you are investing.

My answer is simple - any amoumt of $ is good to invest because it takes, literally, nothing but a risk. Crypto profits can be higher than in almost any ither sphere, and any amount of money off almost doing nothing, js great for me. You can get some experience before putting in larger sums, or you can simply maximaze your initial investments gradually.

I think to make an investment depends on your ability and how much money you have, because the most important thing is you have to know when the right time to invest so it will get profit

I do not know how other people act, but I have some rules that I adhere to - I do not invest more than one third of my money. I also try to diversify my investments.

$100 and $200 is nothing in here, you can not even buy 0.02 BTC to be honest.
The best thing that you can do, is just start with a few thousand dollars at least.

I believe in cryptocurrencies, and I believe that I already have enough experience to make the right investments. So I could invest any amount that I had. But unfortunately I do not have a large enough amount of money now, All I had was already so invested.

I think that if you are a beginner, then you should not invest your money! It's best to start with bounty campaigns where you can earn your first investment capital! In addition, during this time you can begin to understand the market.

Invest small amounts in a variety of inexpensive coins, if you want more, then look for something more promising in development and use, such as Ethereum. Do not invest your entire budget at once... Smiley

You are right, most projects will no longer have profits that were in 2017, so if we want to generate significant income, we need to make a significant investment. And more importantly, it is impossible to enter into serious projects with a small amount of money. Such projects sell their tokens to funds and large investors.

Definitely should not rush, especially at first when you do not understand the trends in the market. I invested in the beginning 700 bucks and I was lucky to make a profit in half a year.

Each person in different ways. Invest as much as it is not a pity to lose. If you think that this amount is insignificant, then study the projects and take part in the bounty companies.

Yes, each person has a different choice, each one has a different perception, maybe you see that coin is potential, but to me they are just normal. So concentrate on learning the experience and pick yourself a reasonable penny.

It all depends on how much money you have on hand. If you have only 1 ETH, then investing it in an ICO for a period of 3-6 months is not the best solution. What will you do all the time? It is better to invest it in several coins already actively traded on stock exchanges.

investment can be done with any amount because the greater the capital we use the greater the profit we will get, and it also depends on the potential coin we choose

The larger the amount of your investment, the more stable the profit you will receive. If you only want to invest and not trade, you can invest the minimum amount usually 0.1 - 0.2 ETH, but the profit will not be big.

from a smaller amount better. for the first time, do not need up to $ 100, $ 10 is enough. when already know the profit earned and for long-term prospects, please add more the amount of money to be invested.

You need to invest as much as you are not afraid to lose, investments are not always successful and it must be remembered!
