The two entities that I know accepting Bitcoins is Wikileaks. And then there's a bad one, a Nazi group.

If there is a charity accepting bitcoins do you prefer to give some of yours Huh

Me: I will if there is, but for now I don't have yet. Wink

EDITED:

Yeah it a hassle for now.

Another question: But what if there is fiat will be disappear in the future and crypto will conquered the world and all payment transactions will be on blockchain system?
So is this applicable right?

If you're making decent amount of money from bitcoin, why not? Charity will accept it even in cash or food or the things they need such as clothes and medicine. I won't think twice if I should lend them some or not. But if I were to give donation, I'd rather buy their needs than money. That way, I'm sure that the money I've earned will go to people who are in need.
Yeah, charity could be done in any form and in any way. We can help poor people by buying them what they need than just handing them over some cash.

Charity is what you have to the person who really needs it. If I talk about myself, if I am eating something and there is a hungry man, I will give my food to him or buy him new if I am in that state. Charity does not demand big things, you can donate whatever you like.

I suggest you to exchange your bitcoin into cash and donate them to any charity you want if you really want to do this. There could be a very few charities accepting bitcoin but I am not sure if you can really trust them because they could be fake or their security could be weak so that a hacker would try and steal their bitcoins. As I said exchange your bitcoin to cash and help homeless people on the street or give those money to abe trusted charity that really helps people. If you have a bigger quantity of bitcoin you could help a sick person that needs expensive surgery.

For me it is not necessary for charity institutions to accept bitcoins because we can always exchange our money from bitcoin to fiat or physical money. If we want to help there is no need to demand requirement to the person receiving our help. We all know that to earn  from bitcoin you should have a good internet connection and knowledge on how to trade. No need to give them hassle for that because more orphans need their time.

It would be a great idea to take new way of sending charity and giving care thru bitcoin. It would be more easy, convenient, global and widespread of giving charities to all people in need.

I donate to charities only after I carefully study them. Because I don't want my hard-earned money to go to waste. The mode of payment makes hardly any difference. My preference will be the same for charities accepting BTC and those which doesn't accept crypto.

The charity are accepting anything. They are not subjected  of what they recieve and even bitcoin is accepted if they know about bitcoin. That's not possible if time comes that bitcoin will be famous and even a charity will use and join it for some benifits and also a hassle free for those who wants to help and give sa money through bitcoin.

either in any way if it is for the good as well as a donation that will be distributed to some social assistance channeling agencies I do not think that's a problem. and with the bitcoin as a virtual currency, of course, this can be done as a means for various good things to do as well as a donation for a nursing home as well as people who need it more. because in my opinion the most important is the good intentions of everyone who will share the fortune that is owned it is just a technical problem to do donation activities using bitcoin.

There are legit charities that are very worth of sharing some blessings but I think they are mostly based from outside of the Philippines. I am still searching some charities based here in our country because I think helping to alleviate some of the burdens of institutions to provide funds in a specific problem will definitely be helpful to somehow create a better movement in our country.
But as an advice to everyone giving off or spending bitcoins within the Philippines, be as careful as you can about online stores and websites because we are all at risk for scams. Do background researches before giving money especially bitcoins.

I think if you want to help someone or engage in charity, then you will find any way, and bitcoin, which you are ready to sacrifice, can be transferred to Fiat.

I would prefer to give them cash instead of bitcoin but if I'm in a difficult situation and that charity is unreachable and the only means of sending donation to them is through bitcoin then I might consider it. But as of the moment I don't really prefer to use bitcoin for donations. I can cash it out and give a portion of that profit to them.
I too prefer Cash, if I donate them bitcoins end of the day if they want to use it for any purpose again they convert it into cash. because in most of the countries you can not use Bitcoin directly. and i think they also not prefer this kind of donations.
And most of the charities are really preferring donations through cash although there are some charities that are upgraded with the modern technology and they know how to use bitcoins but not all of them.

Even if there is a charity here that receive a bitcoin I do not really help with everything out there with a crypto because you all know how risky cryptocurrencies is of course it makes no sense for extend aid as well as crypto but rather I'm gonna exchange bitcoin for fiat then that is it .and there is not much bragging about how we got done and it is whole heatedly that we should act together with no crypto use .I know there is extra money .can do that is it.

Giving to charity is an act of kindness and love to your fellow men .Extending help to others needs.I was doing it before but as of now not already due to money matters.Engaging myself here is my way to earn bitcoin.I would rather change bitcoin into fiat before giving again in the charity I've been supporting before.

Truely,I was a help oriented person.I will use to give some dollars to the trust and every month.
If I heard ,bitcoin is accepted in any trusted charity,Surely I will send my half of the bitcoin holding to them.
And I will suggest them to hold ,not to sell at low price. When the price increases to peak,I will inform them to sell and use that money for good things.

if you are really looking and willing to donate well davef has a list of those here it is
Sean's Outpost Pensacola Homeless Outreach

I think this is enough if you really wanna help,IF YOU REALLY WANT not just another story for the turtle lol

Excellent info, I was hoping to get some payment done through charity for an ICO which refused to pay participants who failed to pass KYC legislation in 14 days.  I suggested they pay charity as its a recognised receipant and the company could not get into any trouble for paying a charity surely.

So far they have refused to pay anyone the tokens that were due saying that KYC means they never have to pay what they owe due to their deadline timetable.   I think thats self benefiting logic to put it mildly and I'll pass this info onto them so they can address their missing payments properly.

Also was thinking about starting a petition for all those who have seen KYC used in an exploitative or profiteering way.

I think it is a good idea because I believe that charity agencies are good. It will help a lot people especially those charity that are into kids and seniors. I think it will help a lot of good people and by charity that accepting bitcoin we can be sure that many charity will be into it because of the better and fast transactions. And earnings in bitcoin are good so many income will likely to come in to charities.

I have never come across any charity that accepts bitcoin and I think any charity that is going to accept bitcoin is going to be favour by many cryptocurrencies enthusiasts. Accepting bitcoin will also help published bitcoin to the public as there will be good testimony from them.

If a charity accepting bitcoin I wouldn't give them my bitcoin. Bitcoin is more about money, but bitcoin have a trait between asset and currency and this's very worth for me. Yeah hard to say like this but I will give them an education about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, like what is cryptocurrency? How to get it? What a characteristic price cryptocurrency and why they should have coin in the cryptocurrency? I think that will be useful for them.

I'am a man who have a soul symphaty if someone need knowledge and I know about that. And I will feel like a fool if I give them bitcoin but they didn't have knowledge about function and risk when they have bitcoin, it's very useless.

And about your another question when you say 'if' I will answer money fiat never ever dissapear, because government will forestall it happen. Because cryptocurrency have a desentralized system and they didn't have way to control and manage that.

Good thing that here in this world we are still finding some person who puts his hear for those in need and not so greedy or stingy for giving away just a little amount of his money in some people, me too I don't really take life too seriously yes I know I need to save but for as long as I know someone in need when I do have spare money I make sure that I gave them some.

If the charity will start accepting crypto currency then yes, i would lile to donate some of my earnings to them.
You asked in 2nd part that will blockchain system applicable for all transactions when crypto currency took over the fiat currency. So my answer is no.
As we all know there are many crypto currency outside in market and only Bitcoin works on blockchain technology. So all the transactions of Bitcoin will done under blockchain system but not all the crypto currency translations.

I feel if in any country some trust of NGO do accepts it is a good thing and it should be used in a correct and proper way. Misuse should not happen and it must be reached to the desired people for whom they are accepting it.
