Ethereum has been use widely for ICO purchase which have given this coin a high recognition. And also ripple has been on test for her technology in financial institutions to use since it can process trasactions than bitcoin. Will these two coins replace bitcoin and become number 1 on the coinmarketcap
Absolutely, there is no way of having that replacement. We know how bitcoin having such appreciation by the community and knowing also that Bitcoin bringing the name cryptocurrency into greatness and be known worldwide. And those altcoins are totally far its popularity and even its price in the market.

I only believe Ethererum is able to pass Bitcoin and not replace it, because Bitcoin has become the missing element of this market. In the future, I think that ETH's market cap will overtake BTC because the potential of ETH is undisputed. Currently, most of the altcoins create Token based on Ethererum technology.

I used to believe that.  Now I don't believe ETH can overtake BTC on market cap.  U.S. government is very clear that tokens are security and subject to their regulations.  ETH is not security, but ICO tokens on top of ETH are security.  This regulations will kill off majority of ETH potential.

No other coin can replace Bitcoin. Bitcoin already build a foundation in the cryptocurrency world market that no one can replace. It's popularity is still on top and Bitcoin has already made a history. By that it is irreplaceable.

I think bitcoin will not disappear that easily. it will certainly always play an important role in the crypto world. but still i can imagine, he will eventually overtake by the price of ethereum but never from ripple.

you have to.llok at it differently when it comes to adoption.

if xrp is really going to be used widely for bank transactions i think the adoption of xrp will make it to be the preferred coin in the future. i don't see it to be more valuable than eth or btc but it will cbecome more popular than btc and eth.

As far as I know, I'm sure ripple won't. No matter what the arguments are, no matter whether it's centralized or not, ripple is for institutions. P2P transaction is barely in their mission and can't compete with bitcoin even in ideological aspect, let alone the tech aspect.

The popularity of Bitcoin grows every day and investors are also increasing despite the setbacks of negative media, government regulations and fraud among others. Eth with a great team and continuous innovation is also becoming popular but I think eth will always be the second of btc. Ripple despite having a large market and accepted by the bank. Bitcoin as the king of all currencies cryptocurrency can never be replaced by ethereum or ripple. All three coins have different uses

No, it is absolutely impossible as for me. Bitcoin and Ethereum are so different, and Ripple is even not the crypto but the centralized currency used by banks also.

Not Ripple in my opinion, but possibly be Ethereum. With the current situation its highly possible, but it really depends on the Ethereum competitors (such as EOS and NEO) and how they solve Ethereums problems. The market is big enough for all of them to exist, but they can damage the price of Ethereum in the long term. Its still too early to make any prediction as only time will tell who will emerge as the top dog in the crypto field, but it's highly possible for Bitcoin to lose its Nr.1 spot in the comming years if they don't introduce any major improvement to their product.

While it is true that the ethereum and Ripple platforms have seemed to offer more advantages than bitcoin for certain practical uses, that does not necessarily make them better options in terms of their viability as currency. In any case, it could be said that these three cryptos still belong to a first generation of cryptocurrencies that could be displaced by the newer advanced generations that are to come, although I have no doubt that these three will continue to play an important role during the next ten years.

Not yet, bitcoin with unique technology rules the market and all other coins. Especially the ripple, although stable, but all of its successes are relative. Rather, you can add eos here.

I don't think so. Because, which makes all crypto a price due to the existence of popularity from bitcoin.  I can only imagine, if bitcoin really can be replaced by Ethereum, most likely all crypto currencies will fall and become worthless coins.

I see that will not happen in the near future. Bitcoin is the king who still leads the crypto market. Bitcoin has enormous power in crypto trading. Whereas coins like Eth or Ripple are followers, so it takes hard work to overthrow bitcoin.

In the present situation it is not possible to cross the bitcoin because bitcoin is already well established and it impossible. Already the prices very low and establishment of technology increasing.
bitcoin can never be replaced by ethereum or ripple, in my opinion,
bitcoin will remain number one in the world of crypto currencies

You can not tell exactly the future because the story of the future is always a mystery to everyone, especially about a field where volatile values such as cryptocurrency, an accurate prediction is impossible. Although now bitcoin is still a bright star and repels all rivals like ripple or eth but in the future, sometimes the ripple or eth receives an overwhelming support and begins to resist, turn around and replace the bitcoin, this is still possible.

I hold Ethereum in higher regard than Ripple. Simply because Ethereum is more open, transparent, professional, decentralized, and has real world applications that all of which Ripple does not have. Ripple is far too centralized and specific to gain mass adoption the way Ethereum has.

If any coin has a change of replacing Bitcoin, it's going to be Ethereum.

I will say no to this because bitcoin is a very strong and potential coin. It is the first cryptocurrency and it has very good and professional dev and management team, it is a very promising coin and it has the largest community that keeps supporting it. It is safe, secure and also reliable. It is a good coin for hold on long term as it will yield reasonable profit. No matter how much the market falls, bitcoin will be first coin to show positive sign of growths as it controls the price of other coin so, ripple and ethereum cannot replace it even though they are also potential.
