In order for Bitcoin to be replaced on the top, they must top its market cap.
Yes because market cap or demand says it all . the coin cant be on top if its value is only small but it isnt only the price that matter the most . coin usage is also important . We know that Ethereum's supply is unlimited so its inflationary meaning its hard for it to top Bitcoin's market cap although there is a possibility that it can (maybe 1% chance or lower).
oh really ? i didnt know that before . all of the time i thought that eth's supply do have a limit and dogecoin is the one and only crypto that has unlimited supply but thanks for the info by the way . anyway , they say that the higher the supply means the higher the chance that a coin can rise , one example for that is doge coin . Ripple??? I'm a negative of it because it is being manipulated by banks and institutions. I don't see any reason or instances that it will top Bitcoin's market cap. NEVER!!!!!!!
Banks have alot of money and they can easily manipulate the price of ripple if they want to pumped it up . id say that its possible for ripple to de throne btc |

Bitcoin will not be replaced by anything for now we can see that bitcoin itself still has the potential to be able to rise later but indeed we must be patient to wait for it. there is nothing to replace bitcoin in the main cryptocurrency position

Ethereum has been use widely for ICO purchase which have given this coin a high recognition. And also ripple has been on test for her technology in financial institutions to use since it can process trasactions than bitcoin. Will these two coins replace bitcoin and become number 1 on the coinmarketcap
In my opinion, Bitcoin is the number in the crypto market. Although ETH and Ripple are good and potential Altcoins, they cannot replace Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is the price regulator currency for the entire crypto market. |

of course not ... ripple may replace ethereum in a few days with slightly larger trading volumes, but if they (ethereum and Ripple) replace bitcoin it is very difficult to achieve, why does everyone ask about the opinion of being replaced by a coin with another coin. in the previous thread I commented on can waves replace ethereum and I said "no"  |

Bitcoin getting replaced by ethereum or ripple will not happen now or in the later years. Till date I find the growth of ethereum and ripple getting influenced by the growth of bitcoin. More the growth of bitcoin more will be the rest of the altcoins contributing to the cryptocurrency network. Once ethereum gave a hard competence to the bitcoin marketcap and for the same it is impossible to takeover bitcoin.
