Will bitcoin be replace by ethereum/ripple

This topic comes time and again and the answer is always no. There is no chance of bitcoin getting overturned by Ethereum or Ripple even though those two are important top coins.

If the Bitcoin stucked in a critical situation then the replacement will always been there so I think for that situation only the development of good investment will helpful to change the lifestyle of the investors but beating the Bitcoin very shortly is not possible in today's generation.

It does not seem likely in my book. I think all three pose a different unique use case and if anything I strongly believe the competition is good. I imagine us having multiple coins and being able to interact utilizing interoperability

And also ripple has been on test for her technology in financial institutions to use since it can process trasactions than bitcoin. At the moment there is not a single coin that can replace Bitcoin. Ether and ripple don't have the characteristics that would help them to beat Bitcoin. Bitcoin is first of all an idea and all other coins are just trying to become part of this idea. So I'm not one of those who believe that in the near future some kind of coin will replace Bitcoin.

1 year since the OP and even during the recent boom in altcoins none of them have been able to challenge for the number one spot, and don't see it happening any time soon. In fact I see bitcoin breaking away later this year

XRP is the banker's coin, that coin will never be number one coin for the crypto community. The time where everyone was buying ICO are also over, so ETH doesn't have the same demand and a lot of old ETH ICO projects still have big eth holdings they will dump on the markets in the next many years.
Nothing on the market will take over bitcoins positions as number one crypto.

In any case, today there are no prerequisites to talk about replacing Bitcoin with ethereum or ripples.  So far, these coins feel very positive on the cryptocurrency market and in the near future we expect to see even better results.

For now, I suppose it will not happen. Bitcoin will continue to be the number one coin and will not be replaced. I see that any price change happening to Bitcoin is capable of giving a big impact to all coins. Of Bitcoin is the first coin. But Ethereum and XRP is a coin that has good potential and always grows. So it is natural if people hope that these two coins could replace Bitcoin in CMC.

With its exchange bnb keeps gaining importance as  each and every IEO is listed fo investing with the pairing of BNB. This adds more value to bnb and keeps the coin under massive circulation. We don't know when the IEOs gonna explode, until then there will be massive growth. For all these reason there is no possibility that bnb will replace and take bitcoin's position. Bitcoin will be the king forever and ever.

In my opinion, that possibility is very low. A lot of debate or hope about ETH or XRP. Most are ETH, inheriting the power and influence of all altcoin in the market, but it still does not overcome the dominance and influence of bitcoin. That will be an impossible task. Well i think this will never happen and also Ethereum will be always the king of altcoins, don't get me wrong but i think ripple is too centralized and mostly is just a bad coin because they sell when they want the coin for "mo thly expenses". Anyway always bitcoin will be the king.

to be able to replace bitcoin takes a long time because the popularity of bitcoin is well known from everything, if anyone is replace bitcoin I have more respect for ethereum than ripple because ethereum is a very well-established coin in terms of platform, exchanger, volume and community

no it is not possible because when the Bitcoin is not developing only then the possibility of other investment to reach the value of Bitcoin is atleast have the time for five years so so that Bitcoin is more higher than The Other any investment so it cannot beaten in anytime.

The popularity of btc usage is still hard to beat. Though eth platform has so many projects under it, still it can't cover the number of entities using bitcoin as payment method and other applications. A large percentage of people also correlate crypto with bitcoin and not eth. So when you talk about crypto, they thought it is always bitcoin. So nope, I don't think btc will be replaced by eth or ripple anytime soon.

In my opinion it is very difficult to replace the position of bitcoin as a crypto coin, the most expensive, the most popular and the most sought after by investors because it has been proven to be able to make the owner become a millionaire. This has been proven in 2017 when the price of bitcoin reached USD 20000.
The new Altcoin is in the position of price of hundreds of US dollars and  faces problems in trading because investors still consider altcoin investment as a reserve, while the most important is bitcoin.

BTC won't be replaced by ETH or XRP because these coins offer different solutions. They are not competing with one another. ETH is smart contracts, XRP is fast payments (especially international). BTC has yet to establish a clear role beyond store of value... but BTC will I'm sure survive.

no one thinks anything will happen. where bitcoin strengthens the market with the growth that it does as it is now. look at the market and you will see the growth of bitcoin making altcoin grow slowly.
