recently I participated in some ICOs, around 75% of it are totally a flop. Actually it is not a scam, but the longer I wait, the more I realize that price is keeps falling despite the fact that the project has a good potential. I think investors are losing interest in majority of ICOs.

I will support other members who encourage the idea that falling of ICO depends on ICO's characteristics only. So each ICO has its own problems.

The most important reason is that the developers do not know how to attract investors through marketing.

There are many ICOs out there, but more than 50% of them fail.
From my analogy, could this be the reasons why ICOs fail?
1. Being too complicated:
If you want investors to favour your ICO, make sure they understand your coin offering. Be concise yet interesting, creative yet not too ‘techy’ and try to explain concepts from scratch. Of course, the detail you go into is likely to depend on your target audience.
2. No unique Use case and lack of creativity:
The reality is, ICOs are not straightforward and with new ideas and concepts arising daily, you need to get noticed and that means coming up with some unique Use case
So, before a developer even attempts to launch an ICO or enter the crypto world, ask yourself: "What will make investors choose this particular ICO over a competitor’s ICO?"
I believe the list continues.
most existing ICO has a comparable idea with others and even with past forerunners. On the off chance that it doesn't have its own points of interest not unquestionably won't have the capacity to create for this. This occasionally makes the ICO couldn't succeed on the grounds that less has great potential later on. What's more, a developing number of ICO additionally influence speculators to be isolated into numerous ways to making ICO effectively.

Many of the reasons listed here do have a very serious impact on how people are still trying to earn on the trust of others. Nobody wants to make this world better and make the system of finance much more transparent. The people who want to make the world better are very small.

Most of ICO ar failing cos they are copies of other projects, and there are literally 6-7 bad copies of any project in crypto sphere. And what can you expect from something that is copy of a copy of a failed project, mostly without working platform and with bag full of nice promises...

Mostly like that which made some Ico fail. there are also the same number of products in Ico, so investors become confused to invest. Because their concept is not unique and some investors will definitely not invest into it because they have the same concept in other projects.

Maybe that's the reason, and I agree with you, even though the ICO is good sometimes it still fails because of the waiting time, the longer it takes the investors are loosing interests in it, so

Today, many ICOs fail, because the project team does not have the vision of further development and scaling of its products taking into account the tasks of the society.

ICOs fail all because many dev are greedy and self centered, they only give ico with no product and use case, all they need is investors money and dump the project which made so many project fail and so many investors are now afraid to invest.

There are plenty of reasons why ICO fail. Beginning from unprofessional team and ending with scams. Now there are a lot of them.

I think that many projects that use ICO to call for capital and fraudulent money in the eyes of ICO people are getting worse. That makes many investors less trust in the ICO also they only short-term investment and led to that ICO failed before reaching the final goal.

An ICO is like a start-up and most don't succeed. The team, the vision, the demand and competition - there are plenty of reasons why projects aren't successful, which makes it really important to choose well and do your research. Even then it's not guaranteed. You should look at an ICO the way you would with a crowdfunding project, there's a strong possibility you won't get your money back or it'll be worth a lot less - it's a high risk investment.

This is open economy. any one can enter any one can leave. as anyone can enter even scammers enter. I think that's what happens to Crypto marekt as well. it is up to you to choose legit ICOs.

IMO, one of the reasons that many ICOs (even if they are for real) fail is the project owners' attitude when they see big money flowing into their wallet, they then forget about their promises, dreams and initial goals for which they went for crowd fund first place

The main factor is about their product / idea behind the project, it didnt meet the investor expectations. When they didn't run the project based on their roadmap it could lead to a failure either, well i think its all about marketing and following the trends too since conventional business is more familiar to the society comparedto those coin offering.

Is not it clear why? I just wrote about the greed of people. The very fact of having uncontrolled greed moves people to invest or deceive another group of people. This is a desperate situation.
