I think that there are few really good ideas and projects for participation. Therefore, people do not want to invest in uninteresting projects, which they do not consider worthwhile.

because it has become too many scams, what to make white paper mind is not much. It's a pity that soon they will completely stop trusting the ICO

First, there is a very big competition (hence the problem with the lack of a unique product), secondly, investors are not interested in investing in ICO (because now it does not bring much profit, as before)

I believe that in today's market in General it is quite difficult to implement projects related to cryptocurrency.

and it is even more difficult to do it for non-professionals who, thanks to the development of technology, have access to easy business

I agree with you, but you're speaking only about an idea. I've come across so many projects with clear brilliant ideas, but many of them have failed. An idea is important, but its implementation is not less important. Developers' bad work, due to lack of persistence or sloth, may lead to very unpleasant consequences: project's mistrust, slow development, and to the worst of all - the project's failure.

I think they need to have a better team in marketing strategies, and this is a lot of investors who are rightly bored seeing promotions with similar problems, namely with one other goal and even the same ICO deadline, there needs to be a more appropriate reputation from the marketing team and some bonus booster as a sweetener.

don't forget the community campaign, because almost half of them are active investors, if the campaign doesn't run from the beginning to the end, they will not care too much about the potential projects and prefer to invest in other projects.

Some people don't always want to do campaigns, that is why the people that don't want to have an issue with ICO's.

In my personal experience most of the ICOs fail because they do not have good communication with their investors or with the community, which is the same thing, I do not believe that they are scams with bad intentions, I believe that they were simply badly thought out or badly managed projects, they wanted to ride  the wave of new ICOs to try to boost their ideas and discovered that it was not so easy, so we see that now successful projects are those that have a good team behind and are the most active with their respective communities.

I think that many projects that use ICO to call for capital and fraudulent money in the eyes of ICO people are getting worse. That makes many investors less trust in the ICO also they only short-term investment and led to that ICO failed before reaching the final goal.

Now investors are very hard at investing in any ICO. If the ICO has a project that is not viable, then they will definitely ignore it. So in 2018, more than 80% of ICOs failed to launch the ICO

Main reason why ICOs fail is due to the fact that they are created to scam and extort people of their money whereby it doesn't yield interest for the investors. Also if its too complicating whereby the investors can't easily understand how it goes, it might end up failing. If the marketing strategies are bad, the investors wont be interested and the ICO wont work and it fails because there is no proper planning on the project.

I think you will see by the year end a lot more than 50% fail, Most of these projects will not deliver their promises to investors, And I dont mean they are scams, they could have the best team and visions and still fail, in the real world many businesses fail for one reason or another. We need to be smart with there we put our money

So really many projects go to the auction with raw material so you need to study the white paper in detail!

Because most of the ICO project is more like a hype, they didn't have any meaning, from their white paper can determine that they are unlikely to succeed, so I think now is not a good time to an investment ICO.
This user is right. Unfortunately most of the ICOs that are in circulation today have no real potential and are only making the most of the hype, to grab investors who are happy to throw away their money.

Many of the ico have not yet started entrepreneurial activities. If you read the white papers of those series, the profits are expected from 2019 2020 2022 and so on. Do not be in a hurry good projects are medium-term. Those hyperveloci, on the other hand, are bankrupt
Whitepaper is just a interesting jokes book or something like that.Savedroid is one of the most successful project and they will be hit some big exchange like hitbtc.I was part of ico and this project collected big amount from pre ico selling. But now this coin added only with very low exchange what the hell.

I guess the second reason is more usual. Most ICO-s create a token, with no real use case, so the tokens could be replaced very easily.

The ICO market isn't falling - good projects collect their money anyway. Only scam and second ones (95%) don't succeed. The competition's strong in 2018, so only a few projects with reliable ideas survive!

Agreed. Just now investors have increased requirements for projects. They want to see a real product that can at least show what it can do.
