I think the most important factor is the decline of the whole market in general. Late last year and early this year we can say that many ICOs have succeeded, while more recently ICOs have failed, although many of them are actually better than previous ICOs.

The very first reason for failure is ICO doesn't offer a good plan or roadmap. Also, most of the coins are copying others. Along with these, there are lots of scam project and investors lost the interest because of the scam projects.

There are many ICOs out there, but more than 50% of them fail. From my analogy, could this be the reasons why ICOs fail? 1. Being too complicated: If you want investors to favour your ICO, make sure they understand your coin offering. Be concise yet interesting, creative yet not too ‘techy’ and try to explain concepts from scratch. Of course, the detail you go into is likely to depend on your target audience. 2. No unique Use case and lack of creativity: The reality is, ICOs are not straightforward and with new ideas and concepts arising daily, you need to get noticed and that means coming up with some unique Use case So, before a developer even attempts to launch an ICO or enter the crypto world, ask yourself: "What will make investors choose this particular ICO over a competitor’s ICO?" I believe the list continues.
Most ICOs fail because developers were just focusing to reach soft cap and hard cap,but as soon as they doesn't reach it they were losing interest and just leave investors in a thin air. They just gives a promising ICOs from the start but as soon as investors started to risk their money through ICOS then suddenly they're like a bubble who suddenly evaporate. How come they thought of running away investors money and leave all of us who give time, effort and money for their scam projects.People were too much greedy nowadays and no matter how we are careful enough to choose the right project no one could ever really predict what would happen next.

We can't erase that reality, we should be the one who are more careful because scams are everywhere and we do not want our money and time to be wasted. ICO gives opportunity for us to invest but we know only those coins or projects that has a good potential could possibly bring profit.

One of the main reason why ICO fail even a promising one is because there are too many ICO to choose from and investors now are getting confuse which one is better and they end up with a scam ICO and burned out. Now they prefer a stable altcoin to lessen the risk and learned from their mistake.

Another reason that ICOs are failing is lack of development. This is why we have to look at the team and adviser experience prior investing to ensure if they are capable to drive the project towards success.

The biggest reason for the failure of the ICOs is that investors think that they will not gain if they buy Toko from ICOs. Among the ICO projects, there are still high quality projects. Strong projects are invested and bright projects of the future.

In most cases, ICOs do not fail. If the token fell in price, this does not mean that the project has problems. IMHO
A decreasing Ethereum price will cause a completion to most coins that are doing ICO's and there is nothing that the investor can do to until an announcement is made.

If they have something real then the coin is going to do fine in the markets once the ICO is done. Scam's are like 98% of all failed projects.

The main reason for ICO's fail is because of lack of product development and some start up that don't have product just pure speculation from investors. And ICO's failed because of sudden downtrend of global marketcap and retail investors are afraid of it. They think that crypto will gone and no reason to invest in ICO's.

ICOs fail when investors no longer have faith in the market and has been the case for some months now. A number of projects are finding it difficult to raise needed funds but also there are those who have had it easy because of their unbeatable project.

because ICO projects now have concepts similar to previous ICO projects without demonstrating the superiority of their projects compared to existing projects, when I ask what the differences and benefits of your project are compared to existing projects, they only say we will be the best and make a great community to make our coin famous and many investor want to invest in our coin.

The main reason why ICO fails are because of lack of advertisement, partnerships and an inactive team this three factors will rely on the company

a lot of ico failed because investors were not interested in investing. market conditions are considered dangerous, this is a result of the decline in bitcoin prices in early 2018. besides that, some issues make bitcoin increasingly fall this year.

Very often ICOs have good ideas. But they cannot convey this idea to the masses. All projects depend on investors. And investors in cryptocurrency often just want to make money quickly and do not seek at least a little to love the idea of a new project.
Some projects fail because of their ideas and how they carry it out. If they don't build on their idea then they will end up failing.

the concept less interesting of course is also the reason why ICO fails and this much going on. and there is even also because investors start reluctantly to join again in ICO due to the large investment that scam popping up. This naturally enough reduced investor interest and will effect to the result of the ICO.

There is no real product or a shortage of investment capital. There are still problems as now the loss of investment and the inability to develop further. Many nuances that are not related to fraudsters.

I also agree with the list. I see that there are many strong reasons behind the failure of the ICO do not succeed in the project at this time. One of the most basic things is the idea they put into making the project too general and not specific, even though in the world of Cryptocurrency projects, of course, an idea that is outlined in a project is very important. Whereas I see that at the moment the idea is quite general and simple so it will be minimal to succeed. The strength of the idea of an ICO project is very much needed to support the success of an ICO project.

The reason why many ICO's Project fail because of the poor development and Inactive team members. The white paper also is the one who incourage investors to invest when they read and study the project.

It funny some projects have the sole motive of ripping people off regardless of their good concept that attracts many investors. Which in professional computing is unethical.
