To be honest there are many factors that can cause the fail. The project team isn't much mature to drive the idea to a complete code. Another fact that every project need a good economist or at-least a good financial consultant to take care of the financial part.
actually when this thread was created last year and indeed too many ICO projects failed. we cannot blame him because the market situation is not good. investment fell and trade also declined. we can see at that time if many projects did not get investment and had to extend or delay their projects, but not many managed to get through the process, too many died.
but many people still believe that growth will occur. and as little as we can see the market has begun to grow back even though slowly.

So you say that there is a chance to make profit? It is feasible?
More than you can imagine. The problem is: to fond a right place, right supplier. Secondly to forget about it and not draw much attwntion to the cost of miner. In fact all equipment is equal. Price to payback is equal on average.

Actually,,, I would like to beg to differ. Profit, and we are talking about feasible profit, is much less than most people can imagine,,, if we are being honest with ourselves! In fact, if any project says potential is x100, then think of it as max x10. Cut all expectations by 90% and you MIGHT get a figure that is closer to reality. Most people overestimate, that is the problem.

Reason for ICO fail:
There are too many ghost projects, and drawing makes investors afraid to invest. Too many pitfalls, making investors no longer trust ICO. Low profit, very high loss of capital. Many reasons why ICO failed.

A lot of investors maybe loss in past ICO and new ICO keep coming. Actually what you said very logic because less investor means not much money to invest in ICO nowadays. And i think something like this need to be fixed.
The trust that has declined has become a major problem why many ICOs are currently failing to run or fund. in terms of investors themselves are also more careful now in investing. do not carelessly invest
after the ico incident failed, of course there will be many investors who are starting to be cautious, until another failed ico happens, making investors' trust seem to be lost, and as if we are difficult to distinguish good and bad ico
Actually it is big problem for crypto community itself if in my opinion. Because people will think crypto is something that only make them lose and then they will think bad about ICO. In past, when it is not much ICO like this, a lot of traders make positive things in crypto community.

I blame it on the scammers. They invaded the ICO market and stole many people's money so people are now discouraged to invest their monies in ICOs anymore.

The failure of an ICO because it originated from the large number of ICO frauds that ended causing the decline of confidence in the ICO. All ICOs including good ICOs also feel this tremendous impact. This is what causes the ICO now unable to survive competing in the market. In addition, ICO failure is caused by incorrect timing of ICO in running each time line of the plan. Other reasons, this ICO does not fulfill its promises at the beginning, for example, it will give a bonus. Here's a quick overview of my view.

I personally think the main reason why icos fail is because of the absence of a product and use cases, though there are other reasons like poor marketing from the team, over complicated whitepaper and technology, etc. But the major reason is lack of a good product, because if there is a good working product then it will give the project use cases which will in turn create demand for its tokens or coins.

There are many ICOs out there, but more than 50% of them fail.

Even amidst so many clear benefits of raising funds through the ICO route and the obvious fact that the method has proven beneficial for a number of investors in the world, the one thing that we cannot ignore is the alarming rate of failures that the ICO industry faces.

With ICO getting popular, People saw this as a great way to earn money.  With that lot of scammers held scam ICOs. Lot of people lost so many money because of that. With that people's confidence on ICOs was reduced. I think now IEO is doing great job.

Many reasons why but this the main reason is the project is not good qnd can't attract investors to go in the project and that is one of the problems of the new projects now in cryptocurrency so i can say that this pimoncoin ico will be good to invest so if you are looking for a project to invest you csn to this and make investments.

I also think that scam ICOs made people to prefer IEOs. People need investment safety and reliability that is not provided well by ICOs anymore. But IEO can guarantee that project is good enough to be selected by the exchange for a listing.

Price falls due to stupid executives. They started to collect money and then make a product. Look at projects such as CBNT and fundraising and platform development at one time. And nothing the course is not much subsided.

The market now is not good for investors to invest on ICOs plus many investors are getting scammed with many ICOs which made the investors scared on putting their money on it. It is hard to have a successful ICO with this kind of market.

In my opinion, the main reason why so many failed of ICO caused with the incompleteness information in their whitepaper, so investors don't really know about their background and more important information. Also, the strategic of marketing promotion is decision with the result of sale.

Scamming although is really wrong but can happen anywhere and it's not only limited to cryptocurrency, although we ought to need to implement strict regulation to prevent any scam, however people can't just put a blame to cryptocurrency if someone does something wrong, I mean that's like accusing an open source project as failure just because something bad happened to individual between someone else and that's really wrong.

from what I see most of them fail because their roadmap is chaotic and not as planned, the rest is because they don't use the funds that can be used to focus on developing the project, but mostly focused on other things, the last is internal problems usually some ico fail they, do not have an understanding even there are also ico who end up scam due to the actions of their own team (selling ico tokens / coins, in some cases of embezzlement of investor money)

Most ICOs fail because the fail to recognize the current market problems, they fail due to lack of creativity and also due to the ICO projects failing to meet what investors and traders needs. Most ICOs are so hyped by ICO websites to a big extent but in reality, they are not what these websites claim they are. ICO projects should study the market trend and come out with something unique in other to succeed.

For me, the reasons why ICOs fail boils down to three key factors which are marketing, token economics and team connection and background in cryptocurrency industry. Get all these right and you will have a successful ICO
