Merit is so unfair

Merit is unfair yes because even if you posted good topics/idea its still hard to get it but if it will be for the benefits of the forum and for the members it is better then.We just strive more harder and be patient to get merit rather than suffering from spam/garbage messages that will affect our forum.It is hard yes but we had no choice but to obey the rules.Well those merit system will also help you to be good in analysis and planning so just keep making good post and wait till they give you a merit.

He's right, eventhough we're having hard time getting merit it is good for us to post good things, without merit all the spam and nonsense post is getting higher and bigger. With this merit idea we all need to post things that are interested and that will help to those newbies with the ideas we give if they read it.

Isn't it so unfair for the people who is new here? That will be struggling making such as good quality post so they could be given a merit by someone. I know all of you is having a hard time thinking what are you going to post such as good quality.

It is really hard to have a merit it is because as far as I know:
People are selfish. Even though you post a really good quality post still there is a people who won't give you a merit.
Some are alone. Like me, I don't really have much friend who would give me a free merit. I know that it is easy to have a merit with a friend that have an account of bitcointalk.

My question is. Why still need merit? We are still struggling to rank because of the merit.

I agree, that merit system is unfair for the newbies,  because the merit system works with other people, based on how they like your post. But how about the newbies, as far as i know signature campaigns are much more rarely giving some slots for members below because of their ranks. Simply, i say that merit system is unfair because some people does not have much friend that is using bitcointalk and some people are so selfish to give some merits, so how come that they can even ranked up

I hope there will be no more protesting merit, fair or not it depends on the way of thinking.

Exactly we can't do nothing about merit,  just accept and do more constructive post and maybe someday they will recognize you.

Just like they said go with the flow, even you protest about this they have strongly evidence that this merit thing has a good production also a bad. So we don't do about that. So much better push about this merit thing not to be a protagonist who against about this.

no its not. ive seen so many newbies that still manage to rank up despite these new system that theymos have been implemented on which is the merrit system. Yet i do also find it hard and frustrating to my side because i guess i will be stuck forever in this current rank of my mine. i cant possibly expect to taste the feeling of having a higher rank. but overall , i sometimes do my best in order to improve my post quality just to get a couple of merrits but i guess im too unlucky to have one.

I think this advantage mechanism is not perfect, not to say the advantage is not good.

I find it strange that many people don't post high quality posts and get a +10.

I hope that the novice can be treated equally, and I know that many high-ranking members still have some low quality issues.

why can not it be fair? I personally think it's very fair because at this time if there is no merit rules this forum seems to be broken because there is a new member who just want to raise the rankings but do not have good quality to get ranking rankings, and now to rise the ranking requires a very good merit to control the increase in rankings.

No it's not wrong. Merit should be given to qualified people. Merit is checked and forum rubbish remains free. And those who get Merit in it will be able to work well.

I understand on your situation mate but sometime we need to accept the reality that their is something changing from time to time. As we all know there is no permanent on this world which we need to aware on what is happening here in the forum. Also, you are not the one who aim to have merit here likewise those who are people deserve much more merit that you expected.

For me , merit is very effective to prevent many fake accounts in our community. It also helps to further post the postings and prevent lots of spam and  untopic comments , Yeah your right its not easily to earn merit . I have many positive posts but im still not get any merit but i think i need more improvements to achieve that.

I'm still stuck in this Jr.member rank forever. It's annoying when I get a lot of quality posts but I still can not get merit from those people. I have answered and helped a lot of people in trading, but I still have not received anything. That is a very sad truth and I have to accept it.

They are given the benefit of having quality posts that are useful to this forum, it's their advantage that it has perfect and good post quality.

Do not envy the advantages of people because we also have their own advantages that are not owned by others.

You have to be patient a lot because the advantages it sudau be a rule for this photum to clear the good name of this forum from those who have low quality posts because it is not very helpful for this forum.

I also do not get manffat from someone because I do not have a quality post that can be useful for this forum.

The key to all this we have to learn a lot from all that is on the forum to be able to change make posts useful for forums and all of us.

Excess rules are still new to ensure from forum discussions to change forum rules if rules are now too difficult for all angotta forums.

Now you need a holiday to be calm so as not to get too dizzy about something that might be useful and after the holidays, you can get better in this forum.

The merit system has achieved the result it wanted to: to block people at low levels, so that high rank members can make their own campaigns by earning money without having competition.
We all know that we do not receive any merit, even if we write masterpieces.
And spam is just a pretext.

I already see you having signature and there are campaigns here which even allow junior members to participate in signature campaigns. Regarding competition, every week we see a lot of members being tagged for reasons like merit abuse, alt accounts and similar things. There is enough room created for new members. Competition is also good for the forum in the sense that it brings the best out of the members thus enhancing the quality of posts made here.

merit is a little bit unfair i agree with you. but admins had to find a way to prevent multi accounts in the forum and merit is a good solution for them. but i think it shouldnt be that much hard to earn merits in forum.

I dont think same , merit is good system , yes its very hard to get , but last time a lot of bots program was farming BTT accounts here and people just sell it , thats why BTT admins decided to make merit system like that . Yes i known that to get hero or legendacy is very hard point now

Absolutely mate,  it is not unfair because the admin of this forum wants to understand that we should put or share a post which is valueble and having a sense. And as a community this is our only rule to give advice to newbies or to share some points of view about the coins. Some strategical advantage to who doesn't know what or how to gain btc or other coins here in cryptoworld.

But you have to adapt to it.  What I can do for you is,  send me your link that has a quality post.  I ll merit you If it's worth.  For your information, we have many now coming forward to give merits in Service section and others too.  Just keep providing your best.  Good things will follow you.
