Bitcoin is already the worlds leading Crypto currency. I disagree with him that Bitcoin would replace Fiat currencies, because the world is not ready for that and neither Bitcoin scaling at the moment. These governments will rather create their own GovCoins where they have full control over the currency, before they allow Bitcoin to replace their Fiat currencies.

We have already seen this in places like Denmark, where they want to move to a cashless society.  

The centralised crytpo efforts are not able to compare to btc.

They achieve nothing towards having a global decentralised currency... or any form of global currency

Whether his prediction will come true or not, it's still positive that these semi high-profile people are publicly coming out in support of Bitcoin.
It is a bit strange though that this comes from the CEO of Twitter, since they're planning on banning crypto-related ads.

We'll have to see what kind of ban they're looking to put in place, for now it's just speculation anyway.

The truth is, more and more people know and acknowledge bitcoin. The impact of bitcoin is very clear to the lives of people, along with the large corporations that use blockchain technology in their companies. That's great. This will be good news for the market.

I partly agree with his statement. The global currency is not going to be USD or EURO or CNY, it needs to be more neutral and not controlled by one country's bank. Bitcoin is the original digital currency with no national control and is therefore the only contender to be an international currency

I smell a conspiracy of big people on this. once they support, on another they ban. also it doesn't make my sense how Bitcoin will take over the US Dollars becoming the primary currency, where many nations now are banning Bitcoin as legal transaction currency. those nations are willing to protect the authorities of their own currencies from being replaced by cryptocurrencies.

Well considering there isn't currently a "world" currency, except for maybe gold, bitcoin doesn't have all that much competition. I think gold could be considered the one world currency. According to Forbes all the gold mined so far is worth $7.8 trillion. As of this writing bitcoin is worth $5.6 billion. So for bitcoin to usurp gold is faaarrr off. However, if you think bitcoin is in a bubble, then you don't understand how valuable it could become if even a few countries or banks decided to hold a small amount of bitcoin as a reserve currency.

It is part of consumer protection. Are all cryptocurrency ads banned? I think not, it's just that they are more selective in receiving advertisements from projects or companies that are really true and beneficial.

Well,the twitter CEO was right and I agree with  him. More businesses are keen on accepting and adopting bitcoin. Bitcoin is alowly gaining  more supporter because of eqse of using it. This technology ia new and emerging and as it matures,more companies realize its importance.

Mate there's no official statement from twitter that they are going to ban cryptocurrency advertisements. Those articles came out does have "likely" on the title and authors are just speculating since google and facebook made the first move.

     Well, that guy is probably right if things go the way the people who support crypto currencies want to. But I think it probably will, because the let's face it, bitcoin really does have a lot of pros attached into it which increases as time goes by with the efforts of the people behind it to improve the usage of bitcoins. The best part? Well, we are still in the early stages of the crypto world which gives bitcoins together with all the other altcoins out there a lot of room and time for improvements. This is the reason why I try my best to accumulate as much as I can whenever given the chance financially.
