Phore Synapse Sharding architecture

We've been getting a lot of requests for information regarding Synapse and will be releasing information in depth soon, however a brief rundown can be found from below:

The Phore Synapse Sharding architecture will be borrowing many of the ideas that Ethereum Research has been coming up with for the future Ethereum 2.0 sharding architecture, but we are not forking their code (its pretty much being written from scratch) and we are already ahead of the Prysm Labs team (of Ethereum) in implementing the specifications.

The Synapse Sharding architecture will give us orders of magnitude higher scalability than we have now. Originally the theoretical maximum TPS was around 70tx/s..... With Segwit this doubled to be around 140tx/s (which is already pretty fast compared to others)... However we expect the new architecture to have TPS into the hundreds of thousands / millions.

If we make the assumption the main (beacon) chain is capable of 70tx/s this means theoretically the maximum TPS for our Synapse Sharding architecture could be as high as 29,000,000 tx/s

(That is 29.4 Million Transactions Per Second)

I downloaded a new version of the wallet but it is not synchronized. writes that the source blocks are unavailable. What to do?

Hi Oleg,

what you should do is close your wallet and head over to your appdata/roaming/phore folder (%appdata%/Phore)
and delete the folders called blocks, chainstate and sporks.
Then open your wallet again and the sync should resume.

Try to download and use the blockchain snapshot then.

And here are the instructions:
"If your wallet/masternode has never been run before, start your wallet/masternode to have it create the initial Phore data directory. If you have an existing wallet you can skip this step.
Shut down the wallet/masternode.
Delete the following folders: blocks, chainstate, sporks, and zerocoin.
Download and uncompress the same folders into the Phore data directory.
Start your wallet/masternode.
Your wallet/masternode should load the snapshot database and continue syncing the blockchain from that point forward."

Resetting the peers list could also help, maybe someone can get this guy a new list of peers to connect to.

Yes, the peers list can be found in the Phore explorer under the Network tab. You just have to click "node list"

I got an error when I tried to update my masternode  from 1.6.0 to 1.6.1

Error: Cannot obtain a lock on data directory /root/.phore. Phore Core is probably already running.

I use the following command (Installed masternodes with another method):

cd /root
wget https://github.com/phoreproject/Phore/releases/download/v1.4.4/phore-1.4.4-x86_64-linux-gnu.tar.gz
tar zxvf phore-1.4.5-x86_64-linux-gnu.tar.gz
mkdir phore-old
mv /usr/local/bin/phore* phore-old/
cp /root/phore-1.4.5/bin/phore* /usr/local/bin/
phore-cli stop
phored -daemon

You see the parts that are bold red? change them to 1.6.1

I have made this mistake before, it's common I'm sure.
