I've lost faith in etherdelta. Ever since they were attacked, quality seems to have taken a hit. Since then, they've tried to raise an ICO and seemingly push people to buy into it.

Personally, i'd now rather prefer using forkdelta. It's a much more professional platform which loads even faster than etherdelta ever did.

In my country i can connect Etherdelta just using Tor, it is so slow. And after all things that happened i personally prefer Forkdelta. But some times i used it, it seems safe.

A few months ago there was an issue with Etherdelta and some people lost their ETH and tokens.

Has the issue been fixed, is it safe now?

basically all the exchange has a security awake. but there must be a certainty. it may be that some time ago etherdelta has experienced an attack that can not be overcome by their security system so some people have lost their ethereum

Be careful when doing some transactions as all the exchanges are prone to hacking and be sure that as much as possible do not let your coins sleep on that site if your not going to trade it.

While wearing etherdelta I've never had a problem, it's a lot of phishing but if I'm careful I feel safe. Actually a very safe market of any kind if we as users less careful later there must be a problem too. Etherdelta it's easy to use, do not need to make an account, just take address and private key can be directly from mew.

In my opinion, etherdelta is a loose exchange. why is it like that? because every existing ico project that has to unlock its token must be etherdelta first that listing their token. You could say that etherdelta is not the official exchanges of a project. however, there are also projects that are deliberately listing on the exchange. So, I do not suggest you do exchange in etherdelta. I do not say there is not safe. but I do not recommend!

There is no suggestion that this is the case of Etherdelta, which should be noted, and it is an allegation that is difficult to prove. However, such incidents prove the dangers of trading floors, decentralization or otherwise.

But in the other side, the etherdelta is still using of the many crypto user and the fact that this site is still online. Concluded that some allegation is not true and not enough evidence to support the issue from the past. What do you think folks?

For now I don`t use etherdelta anymore but I use forkdelta which is also make by etherdelta. I thought it was a different but I noticed that the contract address is from etherdelta2 as well so it's better to use the new one .

I think they are losing tokens for not being careful in keeping the private key, this is very fatal. advice for you to trade in a place that is convincing and has a name.  Cheesy

EtherDelta is quite safe due to the fact that it is a decentralized exchange, meaning that the exchange itself has no control over users' fund.
There is a new exchange called JOYSO that is similar to EtherDelta but is safer and has a better match making engine. https://joyso.io
From what I know, they are planning to launch it in May.

I heard that a few months ago etherdelta was sold and new owners now want to develop this exchange. If they want to attract more and more traders then they need to take care of their reputation.

erherdelta does not seem very reliable to me. the cyber attacks that have lived in recent times and the slowness of the site frightens my eyes.

All exchanges are not safe. Why? Because even them can be hacked, same as your wallet. So the safest thing to do are, never leave any of your investments in any exchanges and don't give your PK in any exchanges if they ask you for it.
