A lot of celebrities just want to make a hype on this.
They want more popularity, more articles in magazines etc.
Perhaps you are right and celebrities are just trying to become more popular, but this situation is worth looking at from the other side. Any celebrity has a large number of fans and just those who follow their personal lives and when one of these celebrities claims the use of crypto currency, then by increasing its popularity it helps to become popular and crypto currency among its fans. This is a kind of mutual PR. Recently saw the news that Floyd Mayweather also advertised some crypto currency, just do not remember which one. I believe that such cases only help popularize crypto currencies and encourage people to start interested in and learn about blockchain technology and the principle of crypto currency operation.

Over whelming message to fans. We have unknown celebrities who are now more aware of crypto and using it to save those assets. I mean, the money they earn in their local fiats is exchanged into bitcoin or any other crypto currencies and kept it as their asset. Crypto is one of the best source to pile assets. We have business celebrities planning to launch their own crypto currency from India.

.What is Cloverdex platform?.

Former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Michael Owen is launching a cryptocurrency in his own name, joining other famous sportsmen including Manny Pacquiao in a new venture to connect with fans.

The retired England star announced Wednesday his investment in the Singapore-based Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX) as he unveiled the “Owen Coin”.

Could this be a booster to cryptocurrency because these celebrities have big influence world wide and could invariably canvass more support for cryptocurrency.
I really think that this is not going to help cryptocurrencies over the long term and the reason for that is that it's very obvious that this is nothing more than an attempt to make money and when this coin collapses, and it will, then all the people that invested in this project thinking they could make money or that they are part of the world cryptocurrencies are going to be disappointed and it's very likely they are never going to trusting cryptocurrencies again, so this is not really different than all of those people that just copy paste the code of bitcoin and try to say they are developing a new and better coin they are just scamming people.

It can not be stuck on big names to know those are good coins or not. yes, big names can be good boosters for coin projects, but the idea of the projects should be the main thing for projects to be developed. big names only indicate that those projects are boosted well, if they have good idea, it will be great coin projects.

Yes that makes sense. Because there are so many projects who are based on scam and for that definitely high funding is provided to cater maximum audience. Keeping the chain, they ask celebrities to get in magazines and ads for that coins. So we must be keeping in mind this side of coin as well. Research better in every aspect that whether your coin is reliable or not. Only then go for practical work.

Even celebrities believe in bitcoin's capabilities even if they're already wealthy. It's also good to have people like them endorsing cryptos to attract more people/investors to utilize or invest on them.

they may not even know much about cryptos, but because that is an effective way of getting people to know cryptocurrency. i think this is a great strategy for developing cryptos

that's good news for crypto users, a celebrity wants to create a cryptocurrency with his own name, hopefully this will help to recover the market.

I think it's just as well as world-famous celebrities like former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Micheal Owen they are interested in digital assets because they can make big profits from the crypto currency.

Because cripto money is well known to the rest of the world as a place to trade assets and invest cripto money greater than the trade of cash in our country, and like the world's famous soccer retirees also have great capital to help in the development of cripto money.

They announce Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX) investment to earn the same income as we who invest in crypto money for crypto money development and earn the profits we earn from the investment of crypto money.

May the development of crypto money continue to increase worldwide, and better developed.

Now that much support for the development of crypto money from around the world that helps the development of crypto money, this is a sign that crypto money is needed for mutual progress.

I believe this will go a long way in boosting the general acceptability of bitcoin. Most people who are pessimistic about bitcoin will now view from a brighter angle as they can see that more and more celebrities are accepting bitcoin day by day.
I believe that if this continues and more celebrities endorse bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, in a few months to come, there will be more than 25% increase in the number of people who are into cryptocurrencies and this will increase the market cap which will eventually increase the price of each coin in the market.

I can say that they are now starting to invest on digital currencies but they are their own choice they are not there to advertise or to endorse but they are the one who want to invest on digital currencies. It is just that, the more the celebrities got into it, and if you think of it they have a lot of followers they can tell that will or might invest too on digital currencies.

the more celebrity artists who get endorse about the world of cryptocurrency seems to be able to make people know and be curious about what it is cryptocurrency and hopefully this can trigger the rise in price of bitcoin and other coin.

Although these celebrities have much influence on their fans but I don't think this would make any significant change in crypto currency world. Economy is driven by the customers and these fans are so much valuable as customers but not as an investor. I think most of you would agree with me.

Time was too fast. Twenty years ago, I remember Owen in the world cup. At that time, he was a young man. I liked the spirit of playing football. I would be very concerned about this Owen coin. I think he can achieve good results in this field.

I agree with this, the average person does not have the money to invest in cryptocurrencies but in anything so it doesn't matter how much of a pull a celebrity may have, a celebrity has a pull with normal people not with investors, and while it's possible that he could get some some investments out of people like those, the most serious investor will just look at it roll their eyes and move on and then invest in serious projects that can actually give him profits and that can become relevant in the world cryptocurrencies.

They might get their fans tag along with them when they plan to create coin or to engaged in crypto, but they should be a good adviser and can handle their fans that will sure just rely on them if those fans just want to follow that celebrity and didn't mind the crypto at all. It will be good if they can inspire their fans more to study it to help at their living not just by simply advertising it then just hang them at lost. It will be good if fans can see it also a opportunity for them to know it then start and earn.

There are eccentric things in this market like Owen, but one thing is for sure, the cryptocurrencies are here to stay, it is the economic future that is knocking at our doors and this is just the beginning.

Manny Pacquiao invest on cryptocurrency and planning to create his own coin, i hope that the price of his coin will grow and surpass bitcoins because i believe that he has a huge amount of capital for his coin not to go dump in the market.

Well known personalities could be an excellent way to introduce and make cryptocurrency more popular. For many people who idolized that certain person would make them see and get curios why does there idol introduce cryptos to them, and suddenly push them to use or know cryptocurrencies.

Digital cryptographic currency is very popular in Europe!

Owen is also a fan of digital cryptocurrency, and he does some charity work by issuing his own digital cryptocurrency. As a fan of Owen, I will support him!

Its gonna be more interesting, if a lot of celebrities will join in crypto by endorsing it,  it will notice by other people who doesnt intersted in crypto.. maybe this could be a good thing, they will easy to accept it, because they see now that more celebrities has joining into it..
More influencial people like celebrities means the more people would be interested in cryptocurrency because celebrities are more influencial than us. There's no denying that cryptocurrency would help us to understand more and work hard for it for it's purpose and reasons why do we need cryptocurrency in our life amd why would we adopt cryptocurrency.
