Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

No trading fees, so bots playing around with their game freely. That's why price is holding....

Not sure but around point zero six is the lowest I've seen it before and it rose quite quickly from there previously. It's a good time to buy if you're in the market for some mining GHS I'd say. If you're trading, maybe wait a little longer, if the USD/BTC price cools a little we could see more downward pressure on the GHS price. I've bought a little more a few minutes ago and will also buy again if it goes lower as my motivation is to build my cloud mining capability over time, not to trade with it. I trade on other markets and have been happy to sell BTC into this price peak. Profits banked in Euros, I'm happy with that.

Would you take PayPal? (Im Serious) Indeed, the price has never been beneath 0.05 except on 15th October when it spiked down on low volume. Most folks who actually use CEX would be more than happy to buy at 0.05... so I assume that some folks are just talking for the sake of talking

Would you take PayPal? (Im Serious) No, Paypal causes too many headaches. But seriously in next couple of days when my Nov Jupiter gets here im going to sell some hashing power. Waiting til its in hand so people can buy now, and start mining immediately.

A nice rise back to 69 tonight - the deposits issue seems to be fixed, and people seem to want to spend their money again.

Yep, the last couple of days I've been buying. I think there's going to be solid demand for CEX GHS going forward, it's a flexible product, reasonably priced, large zero fee pool that you can point your physical rig at and has the merged mining coins. There's always been a lot of doubters around about CEX, normally based on price, but it fills a massive hole in the market as there used to be nothing between buying your own gear and mining contracts. I'll always keep my rig, but in some senses CEX is a 'category killer' as if you've got sufficient GHS, it's ideal for regular payouts or for reinvestment. I wouldn't want you all to buy right now, so keep selling folks, leave me some cheap GHS to buy tomorrow

I'm assuming it's basically never been the case that X BTC / 1 GH/sec ever mines back anywhere close to X..?
seems more akin to trading than mining
It's like 80$ per GHash - seriously?

I know its unreal how much a GHs goes for. Im really thinking about holding off on selling my rig and selling GHs for like half the price of this nonsense!

I've had some good success with Cex.io and like how you can buy low and sell high to make some profits. Selling and buying mining rigs can take a little while.
