Altcoins is not yet dead because there are still good altcoins left like ethereum, litecoin and etc. I think it is not good time to buy even it all has a cheap price because the market still not yet getting recovered a lot of coins is still red even bitcoin.

of course you may buy the altcoins but it should be the altcoins from the TOP list and better with the own Blockchain and working product. of course lots of projects are dying because the team members do not develop the project, and do nothing for popularization of the project. and SEC tries to control lots of startups, and it is harder to create and develop new projects. but investing in top coins nowadays is possible to get the profit in the nearest future.

I dont think so. Many investors and growing revenue  because of it their even starting new projects to improve they're technology and make the world known that such innovative technology exist. For me as long as bitcoin exist altcoins will prevail and continue to grow as long as they're investors. In fact many institutional investors started trading in crypto market.
