TEKcoin is a great find. A great hidden gem it seems most people don't know about yet. 40% stake just wow i love it! No premine and so few coins minted! I want all i can get my hands on before word the gets out. This is the ultimate get in before everyone finds out chance.
I am going to try to do like was posted earlier. Buy tek, stake it, trade stake for profit or more tek and if its more tek send to wallet and stake again. rinse repeat forever growing tek and btc wallets.

Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

I think so too! buying alot of TEK can be tricky but it seems if you keep posting buys near top of the order list somebody hits stake decides to cash out and sells into the buy orders. I keep seeing decent size chunks moving this way.

Hi all, I am exploring tek after being a huge hobonickels fan for such a long time. Bought a few decent chunks of tek and am excited to see stake function.
When is the new release of the wallet planned? I am planning on compiling the coin tonight and using openssl 1.0.1g and can post the exe for those worried about heartbleed.

looking forward to buying back in.. is new wallet out? and I worry about the stake overload causing dumping... what size stake blocks we need to optimize this..similiar to hbn, I'm using 1000 blocks, should I do 500, etc...

I haven't staked with Tek yet, but I would guess smaller block sizes than HBN would be needed. First of all HBN is available to stake after day 10, I think tek is day 30. So less staking at once probably. Also HBN has 4 million or so coins, Tek is closer to 700k coins. That is what I would guess, but again I haven't staked with tek before. I am going to try to see if I can get coin control built into the wallet to help with this process.

I don't think the source code release builds well... well at least I am getting a lot of errors. Using Qt 4.8

I got it to compile, but it wouldn't sync even 1 block. Having this on github would be really great. So changes can be tracked and development by others is easy. Otherwise it becomes very difficult for version control and code review.
