it looks like we have forked  Undecided

Central Cavern mining pool apparently has more than 75% network has, we've been 51'ed xD

I put pool into maintenance mode as soon as I realised a problem.
pplns payout system had borked, all is working fine again on tek.centralcavern.uk

we have not been subject to a 51% attack. stop spreading FUD.

EDIT: hohoho, you are a funny guy. not FUD... but one good thing... CC works OK  Cheesy

why would i fud my fav coin? I was in chat with thundertoe and apparently ur pools hash was constantly above 50%

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

when the pplns payout system borked, pool was actually ~102% of the network hash. this concerned me slightly lol

Get used to it xD

EDIT: I just noticed how "rude" that sounded ( Cheesy )

What i meant was that we recover from dumps quickly, so just get used to dumps as they really dont mean much.

Get used to it? Explain why please. This coin has a strong development team and a community that supports it.

TEK is one of the few coins where I don't worry about the daily price movements. If it goes too low, I buy more.

Wish I had hoovered up more at 20-40k SAT.

this is exactly how I play it. bought a few under 60k today, that was nice, and will be even nicer in 30days time!  Cool

I recommend Spondoolies rigs if you can get your hands on 'em, but yeah, anything SHA256 will mine TEK for ya!

Know anywhere i can find some cheap Spondoolies? Looking for small miners, don't have much BTC to "experiment" with, hence the current decision of S1's

i had a look on ebay, there aren't many but they are selling ~£2000... If you are on a limited budget then have a look at something from rockie... he has smaller rigs available I am led to believe.
