If someone gives you something, although you didn't show any effort, 90% this project is created for fraud. Other than that, I think that the scam rate will be less in the other campaigns.

Since, I joined a lot of airdrop in the past and I don't receive also a lot of promises token. Those projects, I consider them scammer because I did not do it freely, I had a task to do and I just waste my precious time during that time. Time is gold, they need to pay me.

Mostly something free could be on scam, well I'm not saying that all the give away or all kinda stuff are scam. But anyway the scam doesn't take your coins out. Be careful.

Everything could be a scam. ICOs, coins. projects, products, and so on. Unfortunately there is not the solution for this problem today and I suppose that it will be in the nearest time.
whatever that can sometimes be a scam. Moreover, the coin certainly can. the problem now is that coin users are getting more and more and it is not being used by them or irresponsible parties. for now, things like that don't have the right solution. so everything can't be removed.

Hi everybody, Lately I am reading a lot of posts asking: is this airdrop a scam? Is that free ICO a scam? So I am wondering how can something that doesn't cost you a penny be a scam. Sure, they get your email adress and maybe a ETH Adress, but how can you really be scamed with only this informations? I am not talking about airdrops that require kyc registration, that for sure can be dangerous. Cheers,
If u wanna waste ur time create a separate wallet and email (preferably from a separate laptop or browser) and register in any airdrop you like. U won't get anything in return, but this will be safe for ur data and computer!

Time is also considered an investment, although you don't lose money, they can make you waste your time and make you lose money indirectly, also think that many airdrops have real investors, who are also swindled when the project falls at the end.

Of course, it highly has the chance that it's a scam. Like airdrops, i dont think there are airdrops which really gives free coins because according to what i new or heard, people who always joins airdrops ended up getting nothing

In actually that is not a free ICO , in actual AirDrop system is a simple way of advertisement for the project by giving a limited amount of tokens free of cost to the users . And also with the address system the ICO team make a simple rule of referral system so overall year address system works as a simple method of making advertisement without cost . But still here I would like to say that most of the ICOs are scam , because the main reason behind this factor is that in the present time to launch a ICO is a very simple method to do a scam with the investors . here I would suggest you that you should keep himself away from the ICO investment but still it will be more better for you that you should go for the free collection of tokens , because not every ICO is scam about 8% of the ICOs results into better to give a perfect profit For their investors . and also if you find that any issue is going to be much better than any other issues that were existing in the past then surely you should go for the investment but carefully you should make investment in very small amount so that the chances to loss in much amount doesn't exist for you and if in any case ICO get successful then you can make a better amount of profit easily.

I do not think so. This is not a fraud. Because bitcoin is not such a coin. This is a coin available to everyone. This coin will make a lot of money for everyone. People also have bitcoin because it's a good coin. This is free. People can invest here without fear. If this is a scam, the investors will still reject bitcoin. But it's not like that.

Extracting your personal information could also be regarded as scam. Guys who plan these things have their own hidden agenda i.e stealing people personal information, with that information someone might be a victim of pishing scam

The best way to away from this scam airdrops, ICO's or any project. do a profound research about the project you are to join in. and don't easily fall from what you see in the internet.

There is something free, but there is only a little that can be trusted, careful of all that is free, because after all, no one who just gives their funds, must have a certain mission. we should be educated people should be able to be smart to choose what we deserve to follow

in-depth research will certainly be done by everyone before they join a project. sometimes a scam problem or not we can't know it. I also took part in the final bounty from the campaign to buy participants but until now I have never registered in the trade market. So to make a study regarding a scam project or not is very difficult.

Nope just like the airdrops, they are free tokens from every ico. It may be a little amount but still its free. It will be a scam if the ico wont pay us or they ran away with the investments.

Of course, it is difficult to call this scam because scam projects are usually called projects, which after the receipt of money simply disappear and there are no traces that could then be shown to people and that there were some kind of investigations.

Yes, most of the free airdrops/ICOs that give free coins without doing anything are scams. Only few of these have been proven legit and others are just there to lure you in their schemes and steal away your coins and personal details.

even though we have done in-depth research on the project but people can still be deceived. we know that there are also projects that we think are promising but eventually there are frauds and I have also experienced them.

I personally do not believe in gifts of life. I believe that until you earn money. Or you will not achieve something. Just so nothing will fall from the sky. But I think so. I'm a more down-to-earth person.

Scam also means that you are not paid the reward you were promised, expecially when you have to do certain actions to get those free tokens (for example, register with the project's Telegram group or make a couple of retweets promoting their ICO). It's very annoying, you know, when even those several pennies are not paid - this reflects the attitude of the project team to the community.
