The next James Bond bet we discussed but as with a lot of ideas we had there is a bit of a problem. There is no fixed time schedule so the time weight multiplier wouldn't work. That also means that we would need to be able to stop betting as soon as it happens or people would bet already knowing the outcome. wesuit and I can't stay awake monitoring all these things 24/7.
If we can find a way to frame the bet in a fixed time period and we think there is interest then we will add them. I'm particularly keen on finding more crypto related bets.

How about things like: What will the price of X be when after its upcoming halving happens or which coin will be top 5 by market cap at the end of 2019 or at the end of any year or month. Also total market cap by CMC in x time.

Looks like a cool idea. LTC already hyped more than enough with the news regarding halving in August. Making trades can be risky after the expected pump, but gambling the outcome can be more profitable and less risky.

It is usually USA and UK, sometimes France and Spain or even Italy gets some news but most of foreign election results are USA so we will have above a billion people watching the election results of USA and that bet will be awesome.

We wanted to put that bet up but the problem is they could change the timeframe if after a couple of rounds of voting it is obvious one candidate is so far ahead they can't lose. The US events all have fixed timescales which means they work better in our betting system.

I think it is time for Freebitco.in to put something up on the homepage to advice people on what the best browser would be to view this site, because I still have the same problem with Microsoft browsers, where it is not showing the amount of tickets I bought for the Lambo.

I do not know if it is a cache problem or something else, but when I switch to Firefox and Google Chrome it shows the correct amount of tickets that I bought. Just put something up there, like "This site is best experienced, if you use the ……………….. browser."

I think its not about Queen that much, I think its more about the party and how one person can't be above the party which usually doesn't happen around the world. Anywhere in the world there is usually this "person" that gets a lot of votes and they become like a dictator after couple of elections and rule the country with an iron fist even though they are democratically elected.

In UK that doesn't happen because the voters do not have that much connection with the parties and if you do something bad then your party will lose, so whenever a person does something bad in the name of the party then the party forces them to quit so they wouldn't lose too much votes. Theresa wouldn't have quit if it was up to her but we will see how many votes they will lose because of her now.

That's the first time that has been reported. I'll get wetsuit to have a look and see if he can find the issue. One reason not many people use Microsoft browsers anymore is that they are notoriously bad at executing javascript correctly. Chrome actually autocorrects any syntax errors in the script so they don't show up when we test.

Have you upgraded to the new Microsoft Edge browser? It's chromium based and should run the same as Google Chrome. It wouldn't be ideal for them to warn against an old browser version when it should run on the newest.

AFAIK, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer are totally different browsers, the first one is not an updated version.
Older version of Windows (like W7 and below) doesn't have Edge by default.

Yep, exactly. I use virtual windows and some of the computers I use have limited resources so I am down scaling OS's to run older legacy equipment that does not have updated drivers yet.

I have managed to bypass this issue by installing Firefox because it seems to sort out most of the issues, but I am just mentioning this, because other people might have had a similar experience or they know how to resolve this.

It's stupid, he will find another way to gamble, there are plenty of other sites where you can gamble, disabling it on one wont solve his issue. Freebitcoin also makes a substantial amount of money from their betting option, I'm fairly sure most newbies just gamble their few earned satoshis most of the time. I know I do, I like using it as a bonus to gamble with it, risk free gambling.

Yeah, I think it's not a helpful idea at all. But I guess in the end, there's no harm to implement it.

Or maybe, allow users to set their accounts into separate sections. Like have the BTC earned into a fixed account where the automatic savings interest can be credited to. And if they want to gamble, they have to transfer the money out into gambling account, where it won't earn interest but can be used to gamble? Just to avoid mistakes of betting max.

I want to gamble on this one but it will be a huge risk since the tickets casted was already at 1.7 million. Since it is a 25k satoshi per ticket so if I wage around 1 BTC this would be a much huge gamble since it only gave 4000 tickets at most and the percentage to win is low.

Most of the tickets, in my opinion, are generated by huge players and referrals, some users can wager over 300 BTC months so is very easy for them to get tickets.
