It's difficult to do best of x matches series like this because you don't know when the result will be confirmed. We're working on adding fixed odds betting as well as the parimutuel system we have now and that will be more suited to it.

I would not suggest "freebitco" implement any sort of fixed odds betting. It's complicated business and you will need a lot of resources to maintain it. Even if you chose a good "odds provider" you will eventually have some  ambiguous cases with voiding bets.  If You will blindly copy paste Pinnacle lines than pro players will rip you off.
freebitco has very good reputation in cripto communit but fixed odds betting can undermine it (be careful). I would suggests you concentrate in pary-mutuel betting which you already have. But it has a lot of room for improvements.  Just make it the best on the market and it will succeed.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

you don't advertise when you have no reputation and want to gain it. and you don't stop when you gained it. it would be like saying Coca-cola should stop advertising because they have a known brand and a successful company!
you advertise to stay in the competition. and signature campaigns on this forum are the most focused types for businesses advertising their bitcoin related services because it is targeting the real bitcoin users instead of people who may not have heard about bitcoin.
Well you have a point though but i dont see any signs that they would launch up a campaign to this forum but instead they would focus into other areas.

Im pretty sure that majority of this forums community does know Freebitco.in position on gambling industry.Balancing between promotions and exposure is what they are doing now.

And besides, Coca-cola is a know brand to the public. To the masses. Crypto sites have a far more reduced market niche; and thus, advertising is not something that neccessary once you have a reputation.

This is point in start Freebitco.in done too much advertising and they give some good bonuses and other rewards now this faucet or Site is brand in crypto world and they don't need to do any thing for this they have some good members those are doing this for them without any extra hassle.

I don't think FreeBitcoin is going to have any issues with sharps. They're more oriented towards the casual bettor, and seem to maintain around a 5% edge on everything. If they blindly copied Pinnacle, they'd be like Nitrogen and increase their margin probably by around 3% to pay for all of the lottery tickets/reward points/etc and still keep an edge. Sharps won't bother playing for lottery tickets/reward points at reduced odds when they can play at an exact Pinnacle clone such as BitcoinRush or BetBTC.

As of today, the Free Dogecoin Giveaway on FreeDoge.co.in is shutting down.

We've always viewed this giveaway as a means of giving back to the community, however, we're compelled to discontinue the service due to large-scale account abuse on the part of some errant users. We know it's unfair to the rest who have been amazing members of this community, but unfortunately, we have to take this step. We do not have the resources to fight back against this abuse since most of our time is spent on managing FreeBitco.in.

Also, we will eventually shut down the Multiply Doge section as well. Nevertheless, for now, paid and deposit plays won't be affected and will keep running as usual. Thank you for participating and making the Free Dogecoin Giveaway the success that it was, and we hope we can keep making this remarkable community bigger and better.

P.S.: The bitcoin faucet on our sister site FreeBitco.in is still going strong, and we're giving away up to $200 in Free BTC every hour. We'll be adding an option which would allow you to link your FreeDoge.co.in to your FreeBitco.in account, redirecting referral traffic accordingly. You can head over to FreeBitco.in to sign up and enjoy these benefits.

I think when Wetsuit started this Dogecoin faucet back in the day, he thought it might have had some potential, but since then the Alt coin market increased to about 4000+ Alt coins and coins like Dogecoin are now a dime a dozen.  Tongue

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/ still shows that there are some volume, but I doubt if it is significant enough to justify the effort that are asked to run a Dodgecoin faucet. I would much rather concentrate time and effort on more popular coins like Bitcoin that has total market dominance.

A faucet's goal is to generate interest and to stimulate an economy around a coin that shows potential, but Dodgecoin are going nowhere, pretty soon. <Compare the 2014 price to the current price>  Roll Eyes

Who said that they would need to have some signature campaign? Its total irrelevant basing on Freebitco.in's reputation atm.
UserU has mentioned paid signatures and customized signatures etc, the topic basically was signatures but not the campaign and I wanted to share that there is no reason they would have a signature campaign that would pay, that is for websites that are not really known or the ones that want to show off their power, I know smaller tiny new places that does it plus there was stake I think which they didn't need but they were just flexing I suppose.

I totally agree that looking at the level of freebitcoin and looking at how big they are, I doubt there is anyone that haven't heard about it, I am not saying like everyone uses it but even the ones that doesn't use it knows about it so I doubt they would ever need a signature campaign. They are already giving out so much and they give a chance to make 200 dollars from faucet, that is big enough.

Yes, they don't need signature campaign. Freebitco is well-known enough.
Here are some reasons.
1. Many newbies start with freebitco faucets
2. Many people are advertising freebitco to refer new users. I have seen some users here in bitcointalk wearing freebitco signature using their referral link.
3. Freebitco is the oldest faucet I know. (If there is an older one, some one correct me please)

If any one still thinks that freebitco should run a signature campaign search "Free bitcoin" or "Bitcoin faucet" on google and see what is the first result shown.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't mention anything about paid sigs or campaigns, but thought FBC incorporating their own customized HTML codes would be neat.

Their current sig is pretty plain if you ask me.

Any chance wetsuit could design some sophisticated banners for members? I feel that the current one is too plain without the Bitcointalk format.

This is a smart decision as they have closed giveaways on Freedoge, and saved lots of costs that goes in maintaining the system. I don’t think anyone will find fault with it, as they can now use those funds to do more giveaways on freebitco. What bothers me though is what will happen when those errant users target Freebitco, because they have lost their access to free coins on Freedoge how will Freebitco handle it?.

Dogecoin was always a fun coin and not a serious deal, nobody really believed in dogecoin to be one of the leaders of crypto nor ever having any sort of marketcap that would rival the big coins, it is a marvel that is as high as it is anyway and would probably fall down.

So, for a place like freebitcoin to continue supporting them was very dangerous for them anyway, you don't know what you are giving away, I know most of the deals are automatic and whatever the price is changes pegged to dollars but in any case dogecoin is much more volatile than bitcoin and you might have given thousands of dollars worth when you combine it, I know one person can't make much difference but when you calculate ALL people doing the faucet you will realize that it is very risky and doesn't worth it.

freedoge.co.in only does 3% of the volume of freebitco.in but takes the same effort to manage. I have significantly reduced abuse on freebitco.in by putting a lot of time and effort into finding the abusers. I just don't have time to do the same on freedoge.co.in and the revenues means it just isn't worth doing anyway.

No matter how popular a site is there is always a room to growth. No doubt freebitcoin.in is one of the most popular site but still they will surely require more users on their site and that can be done in many ways and one of them is by introducing the signature campaigns.

Also there are many old gambling sites which are still running the signature campaigns which means that they are getting targeted audience to the site through these campaigns.

Here is quote from Freebitco.in which answers your question:
Quote
The lucky winner will win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2 with delivery to the USA. If the winner wants the car in any other country, they will need to pay the excess shipping costs and any applicable taxes or fees. The winner can also opt to receive US$200,000 in lieu of the car, paid in bitcoins using the exchange rate after the lottery drawing has been done.

I do a quick google for the list price of that exact Lambo and it comes out the cash is just easier to take and would give me over 10k for petrol even with yucky purchase taxes, etc.    Plus when you order yourself you can spec it exactly how you want.      Seems I'd have to take the cash which is a shame because no doubt I'd be forced to be similarly sensible in every question there after and buy something like gold bars which are tax free in my country or actually classic cars are free of any capital gains tax.     I know someone who bought a F40 in the last down turn, 18 year old car for quarter of a mil and look up the price for F40 now; thats alot of profit tax free and with excuse of owning and driving the last car Enzo Ferrari made.

Some other countries with strong currency might actually be requesting the Lamborghini Huracan as the smarter option but I'm not sure which and it could possibly change for everyone entered before the end date if Dollar gets weaker.
10/200 is only 5% change even for me to end up with the Lambo.   However 5% would be abnormal change to a world reserve currency in just 68 days, cant remember this happening previously.

Singapore is the least likely country to be requesting this car, I think the license to own this car or at least drive it on public roads would be over a million but cant say I double checked :p    The very smartest use might be to take this car and use it in a makers specialist race, Ferraris or supercars only but you got to be rich already to do that maybe one of the 'whales' or Gumball rally, everyones heard of that

There is rarely room for growth in a place like this, I mean surely they could grow a bit maybe and they could always have new users but I am pretty sure they are already getting all the new users with the fact that they are literally giving away free money with a chance of even more free money and a chance to earn reward points on top of that.

You have to calculate the pros and cons of a signature campaign and when you are as big as freebitcoin it would cost you a ton of money to run a signature campaign whereas you wouldn't get that much more new users thanks to it considering they are already at the top of their game and already getting new users anyway. So you have to ask yourself will they make up for the cost if they did it? I don't think they would.

...

If any one still thinks that freebitco should run a signature campaign search "Free bitcoin" or "Bitcoin faucet" on google and see what is the first result shown.

maybe all the things you said are the reason why they actually should start a signature campaign! look at your comment, all over it you are calling this site a "faucet" but it stopped being "only" a faucet a couple of years ago. and ever since then their focus has been to be a proper gambling site with dice, lottery, betting, contests and even investment (mining).
now google "bitcoin dice sites" "...gambling sites",... and see if you could find this site.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.
