I can understand why they would do something like that, I mean people are willing to do a lot of stuff for money in this world, hell freebitcoin standing their ground with all the free money they are giving away is something I will never understand how they managed.

We are talking about casinos removing their faucets just to get rid of abusers and leaving the casino part intact where freebitcoin literally allows people never to gamble and only to claim free money while giving them rewards points for it and lottery tickets for it as well. All in all freebitcoin knows how to handle abusers better than anyone else in the crypto world because I am sure they are the first place abusers come to do their thing, not many other places have so many abuse-able things on their websites.

Ah so finally I understood why they stopped it. I did deposit many times during those promotions, as I'm sure the admin can see from my history but I never withdrawed it during the promotion and with some really bad luck I lost my entire deposits. Still hurting from it even though I try to move on and learn my lesson but you know how we gamblers are;)

But I agree always the abusers to make the rest of us lose our privileges:)

He trusted the goodwill of people but when there is money and there is no punishment, people always abuse these stuff as long as they can. (even though they are actually risking their own stash by depositing)

I still wish if he could put a limit on the number of tickets you can get or the deposits you can make to get tickets but it will just create more work for them and people will find a way to abuse it again.

CSGO is number 1 for me, I think its quite unique and watchable by quite a diverse audience and so the betting is viable also.   I'd almost certainly regularly bet on games if they were available.   The other esports also have large population of users and potential bettors I guess but csgo is such a long term and quite a basic idea of terms of the two teams trying to stop each other.  I consider it quite accessible by anyone viewing and trying to 'get' top level play despite their skill being far beyond what most of us play its still the same game.

Despite its popularity, how I wished its prize pools are much bigger. Look at the major tourneys for DOTA 2. At least twice the amount of CSGO's.
The difference is, dota 2 is known a lot in Asian countries as well, they play that game over in china and other asian countries like crazy which increases both the income from more viewership and the sponsors as well. CS:GO is a great game and it is probably liked more in European scene over dota for sure but when you look at it globally dota is still getting more viewers from all around the world versus counter strike getting viewers from Europe.

An argument could be made that people in Europe and USA could spend more money so advertising there should be more valuable but I suppose advertisers know what they are doing better than me Cheesy. All in all that causes the prizes to be bigger in dota and smaller in cs:go, if it was so profitable to put up ads or sponsorship in counter strike people would have overbid each other already.

I guess its because its easier to pick up than the CSGO itself, since shooters need insane reflexes.

In my country, almost everyone plays DOTA in Internet cafes.

CSGO is a strategy game as well though, just the plain reflexes is more of the other FPS types as they do not account for movement vs accuracy so much which knocks onto all placement of players during the rounds.    Thats my argument anyhow, obviously giant disparity in skill sets can mean anything goes to some extent.  Its more obvious between level teams, I used to be not bad is predicting underdog bets back when CSGOlounge was still a thing.
I doubt Freebitco would  do skins type bets directly like lounge did but partnership with a site that does deal skins that'd be a giant deal to be part of.   Alot of sites take skins and pay BTC which obviously feeds into this economy, it used to be a massive circulation of funds back in the day.      This was my thing for a long time and I've played CS forever, I know many other players and bettors also similarly so Im totally interested how that goes.

Heres the bet thats going to win the Jan closing price event and its got decent odds even.   I did not bet this range, I swear it wasnt that viable when I was looking.   The ranges are quite slim for looking weeks ahead so I could have gone with the slightly more moderate outcome as its quite predictable for it to enter a lull before 10k but after gaining a fairly large amount in a small time.

I bet on "$9,501 - $10,000" with 16.39 odds

and I was so close to winning the bet. BTC price was $9,533 in the beginning of January 31, but then it slipped down a bit, and, yeah, the range "$9,001 - $9,500" is going to win, like you said.

Currently having fun with betting on Oscars. I think Al Pacino has more than 5% chances of winning

So, I'll probably bet on him, if the odds remain the same closer to the event.

I guess we have no clue what bitcoin will do at all, people wagered on 3 different possibilities more than they wagered the winning one, the winning one ended up having 7.47 odds to win and only 9% of the people who wagered said it would be like that, which comes to show 91% of the people literally didn't know what bitcoin will be like.

Put that into market works and you will see why whales are controlling the market as well, they know what they are doing when buying and selling whereas people like us have 9% of clue what we are doing and mainly just guessing and assuming that ends up being wrong most of the time, the main reason for our volatility I suppose Cheesy.

It was always going to be difficult predicting the correct range for bitcoin prices because of the uncertainty that comes along with it, but overall it was fun and now I hope that someone from here predicts it correctly. Also none of us could have anticipated that Coronavirus would spread so fast, and because of that we would witness sudden upwards movements in bitcoin prices.

Don't you think that if Bitcoin was down, we would blame exactly the same virus for that? Smiley Coronavirus or not, BTC is up and that's a good thing.

What range will be bettors' favorite closer to the end of February? "$9,501 - $10,000", as it is today, or "$14,001 - $15,000" as I personally hope it will be on the 29th of February 2020?

Don't worship those whales that much. I bet all of them have not more than 9% of clue, just like us. Bitcoin is unpredictable even for the whales. Smiley

Another huge win from a low ticket holder, 687 tickets comes down to 687 satoshis and there is a huge chance most of that was free as well, dude probably spent at most 0.00000687 btc on this (and that is max even if he bought all of them, definitely less) and won 0.0372 btc in return, that shows how lucky you can get if you just get involved, don't have to be one of the people who buys over 1 million tickets, those are cool too and end up winning something however even people with less than 1000 tickets have the chance to beat them and get a bigger prize as well. I personally do not buy tickets but between all the free rolls and affiliates I have, I get like 200 tickets or so for every single week and can't wait to one day actually win a prize even if it is 10th place.

No comments on esports. I'm glad a few people love the idea but I'm absolutely out of it. I tried watching it too, can't really understand why I didn't like it. I love games but watching others play is a bit unsatisfying for me:)
Exactly same feelings. I have no idea about esports. I like to play some games myself, but watching how other people play, I don't know, it's not for me. It's just not interesting for me. Well, maybe I'm too old for it.
But I understand that demand for esports lines is big and it's good that people will be able to bet on it on Freebitco.in.

Maybe it's an age thing yeah. I've seen kids just watch videos and livestreams for hours. Watching, not even participating. And then apparently people actually tip these guys after spending hours watching them. My life is too short to just watch something that doesn't give me any value but hey everybody has their own thing right? If it brings money in, why not. Totally get it.

After an incredible January, Bitcoin is trading near the $9,200 mark and the future looks exciting for the biggest crypto.

Will BTC shoot for the stars and break the $10,000 barrier in February? Or will it drop down to the $8,000 again?

Where will BTC end up when the month of February ends?

Bet on the Bitcoin Price before February 23 at FreeBitco.in, and if you predict right, you'll win a share of the BTC prize pool!

These are the same kids that dont watch TV maybe at all, they dont even own a TV now so its a big deal to companies trying to reach a demographic potentially beyond their normal reach.   Amazon bought up Twitch because its as big as Youtube to them for broadcasting adverts to a section of the population who might not otherwise see them, theres a premium to be gained when you have an exclusive audience.   Its not something thats going to go away, to put a positive spin on it is quite easy as its alot more interactive then TV and all the various digital platforms are integrated and share traffic.
I would argue its relevant to BTC, that new digital economy so esports bets is totally a correct direction imo.   I think its a growth sector for years to come, I hope crypto is part of that integration utility that various websites demand is easily implemented and quick to do.   If BTC ever gets dismissive, rigid or elitist in adaption for facilitating new growth in economies I would be sad about that and see it as a great hitch to its possible success.
