He is a person with diplomatic immunity? Does this immunity give them a chance to run scams without getting charged for them? I thought that in such cases, they are declared as persona non grata by the country where they live and are required to leave the country immediately.
By the way, wasn't Freebitco generating a good amount of money? Their house edge was very high compared to any other crypto casino. They even had two crypto casinos that were promoted through Freebitco. I don't really understand what they did and why they did. They could do much more profitable exit scam if that was the point.
It is possible that the gambling sites they had been operating were not making enough profits.
The name was Dplay for one of the sites, not sure about the other one.
I also read somewhere that it wasn't making much profits and people were abusing the site.
Their scam exit itself was done very stupidly and unprofitably, that's what surprises me. Dplay was one of their casino and they shut it down normally, without problems, as far as I remember.
Freebitco representatives have been posting many times that people are abusing the website via bots but they didn't build any mechanism that would protect the platform from abuse. Cloudflare wasn't simply enough. They could add wagering requirement or any other kind of requirement. They did nothing.
May be this is why they had to close their business.
They didn't close the business, they scammed people. When you want to close the business, you don't let anyone to deposit and you process all withdrawal requests.
