After 11 months of inactivity, FreeBitco.in’s hot wallet finally woke up. It wasn’t to pay pending FUN withdrawals, they simply transferred their remaining ETH to a new wallet.
...

Their larger wallet, which used to hold over $125 million in FUN, WBTC, and ETH, up until those funds were transferred to exchanges around the time the site’s problems started, also became active again. They claimed around $40,000 in rewards earned from lending, which they swapped to ETH that was then converted to BTC.

Okay, do you think there’s even the slightest chance that this move will miraculously lead to them processing the withdrawals, or are they just trying to cash out? After what we’ve seen over the last couple of years, I’m convinced it’s the latter, but let’s see if you or anyone else has any indications that a miracle might happen and they’ll finally pay what they owe.

If we start to see several transactions with small amounts of Bitcoin going to different addresses, then it could be an indication of them actually paying something of what it is due to their costumers and gamblers. Otherwise, I am afraid this is just them continuing with their slow motion Cash-out, as they keep their service "open", so more money can flow in.

Currently, they have more reasons to keep scamming people off their money than redeeming themselves and fully refund all deposits, bot even mention that they probably don't even have enough liquidity for full refunds...

There's no justification for this. No cancer or other illness, no nothing. YOU SHOULD NOT STEAL OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY. That's it. It's that simple. I hope we'll read soon in the news that something bad happened to the creators and owners of FreeBitco.in. It's not about the money they've stolen. They've stolen my trust in humanity.
Not sure they will release news or announcement here or in the site. They don't tells anything here about the situation and keep silent so many people who get the scams pray for the worst thing to creators and owners. We can only hopes the authority catch them and punish them and refund the members money.

As of right now, they are out of reach:

I wouldn't say, I pray for something happened to them, but I surely wouldn't mind. I mean, they deserve it.

~
~
What truly matters now is to recognize how they scam their people here, then try to held them accountable on the actions they have done on proper channels. Then make sure that they won't do the same scheme again. But the problem is no victims stepping up and sue them that's why I think they decide to continue and repeat the same scheme.

Yeah, they should be put in jail, and then they won't do the same scheme again. And if this case will be made known, many others wouldn't even start thinking of doing such a thing. I mean, if they were put in jail for a long time.

~ They've stolen my trust in humanity.

Well, you sure do lose faith in humanity easily. I can think of far worse reasons to lose faith in humanity.

I'm joking, mate. I've seen plenty pieces of sh*t like them, and I didn't lose my faith in humanity because of their actions. They don't have that power, pieces of sh*t like them.

In any case, one of the theories that was floated throughout the thread a while back is that wetsuit might have sold the site to other people—without announcing it or anything—under the table. That would make it easier to understand both his disappearance and TheQuin’s ~

It makes him a scammer in my opinion. I may be wrong — anything could have happened to him — but if he’s alive, he’s a scammer.

I did a lot of searches on Arkham but couldn't find those wallets you listed. I only found deprecated ones from FBTC. Can you link those directly please? I want to do some digging into history and all. Curious as to if people are still feeding them money.

0x12D4017F232ebb4327e8e0082Ed4337084bF2e84 was their hot wallet where they paid FUN withdrawals from.
0x99E2AE3dD7fDb5684950176551911d19D55dFCaB was their reserve wallet where they kept most of their token holdings.

You will have to label them manually if you want to keep track of them or see their past activity. I doubt they’ll be using them any longer after they cleaned out what little remained.

I remember that, at the beginning of this whole affair, so last year, they closed the site like now and everyone thought they had done an exit scam directly. But then after about 10 days the site returned online again.
I'm not defending them, also because I'm among the scammed, since there were still 1000 eur on my wallet, I'm just trying to have a hope although small.

What did you mean about "they deserve it"?
If they decided to close their service, without any announcement for service closure and without any time window for remaining users to withdraw money, it's terrible from their operations. I don't think anything like "they deserve it" here, and only Freebitco.in users suffer a lot of pain from this sudden service closure.

I remember that, at the beginning of this whole affair, so last year, they closed the site like now and everyone thought they had done an exit scam directly. But then after about 10 days the site returned online again.

People were lucky in the past as after that Freebitco.in came back online and it was still possible to withdraw their money and leave the casino. Unfortunately some people have still stayed with this site and if this time there is no operation return, they will lose their money.

There are abundant warnings and enough time to withdraw money since two or three latest years and it's surprising if people wasted all such time and opportunity to secure their funds.

Then the nightmare coming to those who lost. They really lost and better forget it as they are now more difficult to get their money back. Many people hopes the authority catch and punish them without giving any excuses.

It seems they shutdown the site so people will not see the site online so that prevents new people from scamming. But it is sad to see the losing people without any chance to get their money.

Maybe this is the official closure of their site and maybe they decide to end everything then to run. But since there's there's nothing to hope on them, they don't have clear info towards their refund process and they have lots of excuse.

This unavailability of their site is a reminder that people should start to move on from this casino. Its painful yeah since no one wants to lose their money, but this is the reality when they are dealing with scammers.

So people need to be more careful next time and don't deposit huge money on casinos or maybe on third party platforms.
