Well, according to my experience, it depends on the quality of the ICO whole but nobody can tell which ICO is legit, right? I am also very picky if I want to join a bounty program because I don't want to spend a lot of time supporting scam ICO and I earn nothing. Usually, I have to make sure the ICO is convincing enough by looking at its website, whitepaper, and the team. Usually scam ICO don't have whitepaper ready and their website is not informative enoguh. More importantly, you have to check whether the team behind the ICO is real or fake. You can check their Linkedin profile.

You can see how much amount they put in for bounty.Another technique is search for its development team.

We are actually hard pressed to see if the project is a scam or not. Because we will know after the results. Therefore, in order to be safe, I usually follow the softcap projects. so at least the obvious project running.

You should not focus on the bounty. Focus on the ico because if the ico is scam bounty will also scam. So it will good if you analys first the ico.

IT’s not easy to discover a scam bounty. Personally if I see stakes are not updated I ask to telegram group and if after 10 days no one answer me I will leave bounty

To be honest, I'm not quite sure there's a verified means of knowing a scam projects from legit once as all ICOs and bounty programs are actually good at covering their tracks from the beginning. However, there are few steps you can take in order to narrow things down.... Doing a whole lot of research is key. Check for the potentials and popularity of the project, how often they update their social media platforms, roadmaps, the team/developers etc.. All these do not give full assurance of not picking a scam project but always be choosy and follow your instincts...

I wonder if there are bounty-farming sweat shops in low labour cost countries where hundreds of underpaid workers are hunting them tiny bounties. For me, I cannot understand why there are still that many projects that offer bounties worth a few cents and expect people to get enthusiastic and involved.

I have also ended up on the wrong side of bounties. I think the first thing to look out for is the workability of the project. If it sounds to good to be true or basically unrealistic, then chances are that it will scam

You're right. I, too, act this way.
I also look at the number of messages in social networks.
If developers create posts very rarely, then I do not follow the path with them.

You will understand whether bounty fraud is only when it comes to payments. Of course, there are chances to catch them in this, even at the stage of the ICO, but this is unlikely.

Need to check a lot of facts about the project. What does the product look like externally? Grammar errors, poor design, the lack of original content. And many-many more

I think if you start trading / investment in ICO market then first you can read all related documents of ICO project because you can built your knowledge about crypto market itself. If any information provided by company is doubtful then you can leave this project immediately. If you will follow given step then you can easily identify bounty scam.

Lots of bounties to select but only few are now in legit projects.,tou may think its a scam because after the campaign they wont paid you for a long time and sometimes there stakes is not been updated anymore its just hang without any reason sometimes and there telegram is suddenly stop,so better check that campaign if it is a real legit because its just a waste of time.

I do not know how to choose to avoid a scam. But choose projects that have a good team, partners and events that the project is looking forward to in the future. Good projects will have good advertising and attract investment right from the time it is pre-sale
I think you summed it up right. Team. Media. Events. All that says a lot about the project. Also important is their baseline idea, their level of innovation, but the team at the initial stage is everything.

How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.
You should start by checking with project ratings, it's already been done for you, so you won't spend much time. Check out icoBench, icowatchlist, etc. Then you should familiarize yourself with the ICO to be sure it's legit.

surely I don't have any idea how to understand for a truth if a bounty is scam. but higher that allows you to search and research that is the most crucial to recognise if the challenge is rip-off or no longer. You need to read the whitepaper, recognise the developers, the challenge team members. take a look at all of the facts about the bounty you want to sign up for just to conscious you of scam...

You can actually see it on thier whitepaper, if it is not promising enough so have a thought that it is scam that proceeds to next which is researching to that particular ICO, the people who runs and manage the ICO and how they run the ICO and if that still not satisfy you, ask some people who joined that bounty. You can also visit ICOrating to have some feedback on ICOs.
