I noticed something about the waves dex. The volume keeps increasing quite alot, up from 1mm to over 5mm recently, this is while the big centralised exchanges are all down 70-80% in volume. Waves is quietly kicking alot of ass and the raw metrics show massive growth.

Also please do not propose exchanges as WAVES wallets. 

WAVES has its own client wallet that is linked to their decentralized exchange.  I am sure you can find it on the WAVES website for download.

beta.wavesplatform.com The web client wallet is excellent for all devices. You hold the coins and the private keys with this wallet so your coins are not kept on an exchanges inventory. The web client does have direct access to the exchange so it is really the best of both private wallet and easy access to trade or fiat

I have join this client about 2 months ago. I used this one to receive my toke name GAMEX - The transaction did well but recently I got a transaction from someone which I don't know - The client notes me that there is maybe cheat on this.

I'm a fan of Waves but is there any issue on this?

As Waves Platform is an open blockchain platform which is designed for ease of use and mass adoption, any user have an opportunity to create his own custom token and distribute among Waves holders, for example. You can check whether this token was sent with one transaction or through a Mass Transfer option on the "Transactions" tab within Beta Client.

We currently do not have any promotional activity for getting free tokens. You'd better wait till the official announcement of its launch and make an acquaintance with the terms though. Stay in touch!

Smart contracts on the mainnet are coming soon, the launch is planned for July. We can't forbid our users to create their own token or launch ICO, but since the last update of Waves Beta Client, all the spam/scam tokens were moved to the folder called "Spam" by default. You can move any unwanted tokens there.

I don't understand all of these technical details, what is a matcher, why do we need a matcher, how do we connect to a matcher.
There is a lot of parameters into the config file and most of them are not detailed.

The guides are great but I think we need a better guide to understand from 0 how it works.
A total noob should be able to understand and setup a node from A to Z with a complete guide.
I think it is important that someone who totally understand the waves-node system publish a global guide.
It will help spreading the world why Waves platform is so great.
