I guess I wasn't paying attention for too long and something went down. Just hopped on the new discord and I'm hoping to have a mining rig built soon.

Hi Chris - lol yeah it all happened quick. Good luck with your build. There are a lot of miners now that have had all sorts of issues so there will be someone here that will be able to advise on any issues you may encounter. Good luck. I see that you are going to start with 2x 1060's - so to get it up and running quickly just get an old full size PC case. You will be able to have both your GPU's connected directly to your mobo without having to wait for your risers. You can use them later when you expand.

Hanacoin (HANA) Centralised: HJzbjF8YUcETVB6K23o84aRY7wBirzJNrr
Both can work

The worst of the issues has been with the mining pools to be honest.

I'd say the last ANN 200 odd pages were mostly miner crashes and adding the correct command line. More individual issues and more AMD GPU's rather than pool issues.

That'd be impossible with this difficulty even with a 12-card rig.  Maybe back when it was under 500

Forgive me if this has already been asked.

The whitepaper states - "The cost to create assets will be 500 RVN to create any qty of an asset".

Are there any plans to have this scaled in line with block reward halving? i.e. Future block reward = 2500 RVN/asset creation = 250 RVN.

If this is not the case, are we to expect parties to pay more in line with the increase in the value of RVN? Or will they only use this to create a greater amount of assets?

Interesting question,

I went through the roadmap as well, and wondered about 5 RVN per asset.
5 RVN is fixed whatever the value of the asset.

hmmmm looks like RVN is more suited for expensive assets, not cheap ones. Especially if the prices picks up.

ravenminer.com has been giving me issues this past weekend.  Connection timeout for 16hrs...2nd time this has happened.  not sure if it's DNS related on my end or what.

When will this coin get listed on a (at least) mid-size exchange? (something like cryptopia) It already has a bigger&more active community than many alts out there. Why are exchanges still ignoring this project?  Undecided

I think 2 things from what I have read. I could be wrong but this is what I have read over the last few months:

1. Devs are not that worried about exchanges until later this year

2. Exchanges like Cryptopia charge a large fee to list a coin. There was no ICO or premine. Basically, someone in the community would have to pay the fee.

yup, Binance for example wants one milion (so I've heard) of a coin, before it get's listet. All those exchanges want coins in return of publishing them.

Poloniex would be a nice target for Raven. Considering the new moves they made and their enjoyment of new tech. May be a good home
