Every investment has its own inherent risk and crypto is not left out of this. The alts market most of the time still profitable if you invest wisely, but you can still get in trouble just because you done have right information and sometimes the price just raise or drops based on rumors. A coin might drop in price due to false alarms and fake news as such the recovery of that coin might be quite dofficult to recover even though it is very promising. This shows how the crypto can be manipulated and its hard to predict its inherent risks.

Its not risky to invest on altcoins because the price right now is very cheap and all you have to do is wait until the prices will be growing in the market in order to earn more profit just like what happened last year..

Altcoins have depreciated pretty much. Even if it's not the bottom yet, it's near. Thus, I would say it's quite a good moment for investment.

It's somewhat encouraging to see that the first reply in this thread is probably the most intelligent one.  I don't understand why people think it's riskier to buy something when the prices are at rock bottom than it is to buy when they're soaring.  It's a strange mentality that always gave Warren Buffett fits. 

Now I don't claim to know whether altcoins have hit rock bottom, but I would venture that now is a decent time to buy and that it's less risky to buy now than it was at the beginning of the year.  It also depends on what you're buying, but that's always true and should be obvious to anyone with a brain.

Investing in altcoins is risky business. There are no guarantees about anything. But If the current altcoin market is also down same as bitcoin, this is the opportunity to take that risk as it can go up sooner or later.

Even in stable investments like real estate or whatsoever that is relatedto fiat assets are risky too.  I prefer cryptocurrency investments like Altcoins and Bitcoin rather than fiat because crypto might give us huge return which fiat cannot.
