There are some people says altcoin is better than bitcoin, because cryptocurrency has different in terms of customers attractions, and there are some people who attracted on investing altcoin, but it is not suppose to be that altcoin is better than bitcoin totally, because bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrency. In terms of value, bitcoin is always better than other coins.

yes i do think its better to invest on altcoin rather than bitcoin. The main reason is cause there is altcoin that have better project than bitcoin and they have a real project that develop over time. So i think its worth to invest on altcoin cause if cryptocurrency have future and keep survive in future i think the one will dominate the market will be altcoin.

Alternative coins or what we called altcoins and bitcoin are different coins. Bitcoin is the main coin so they depend the price of altcoin based on the price of the bitcoin.bitcoin can give you a big profit if you hold it and sell it properly whole the altcoins are giving you an good investment because the price is enough only and not high as much at the bitcoin

Altcoin is better than Bitcoin because it is cheaper to purchase for an investments than Bitcoin but still Bitcoin is the most promising among crypto currencies investments because it doesn't need commodities to promote just to become stable but its just already build a deep foundation of trust among the people. Bitcoin cannot be a legal tender because not all people know how Bitcoin will work therefore it should be use as investment only to earn more fiat for our future spending.

Bitcoin is cryptocurrency not currency, government will take full control about currency because that is the main financial instrument and cryptocurrency is similar ( some people say " same " ) with commodities product ( gold, silver, etc ), just like fashion. Crypto is only alternative and because we can make profit in easy ways, fast and cheap transactions, we can't say it can replacement currency. Even currency has future with their ICP project, don't think too far because currency is main goal.

So what are you proposing then? And what the heck did you get your source that only a small sum of people owns most of BTC?

Actually, there should be no comparison in BTC with altcoins because the two has different purpose and use. I think people should stop comparing BTC and alts because they are not in the same level.

Unfortunately it's not as easy as this. Bitcoin has the first mover advantage, a well known reputation, a solid and reliable team and product. It's also widely accepted as the currency of reference in crypto.
Now bitcoin has disadvantages, as you mention the coin re partition is not perfect, it's tx/s is not scalable in its current state  and it lacks many features that other altcoins bring to the market.

A good portfolio is the perfect balance between serious altcoin projects and established currencies such as bitcoin, that no matter what will always hold value.

I think bitcoin is much better than altcoin. There are a lot of ICO's who fail and there is no way for you to get your money back once you invest on them. I have joined a lot of bounties for ICO's and only a few of the succeed. To be honest, I am thinking that the investors felt like they were scammed and their investment won't go anywhere. To be safe that sorry, I think bitcoin is better and a more secured investment.

In my views, bitcoin should not be compared with altcoins since bitcoin has been in the crypto market first and it's been several years being established while alts where just starting to build up it's currency. Bitcoin price is not comparable for now with atcoins and basically altcoins were dependent on the bitcoin market. Once bitcoin make a rise, altcoins follows and if bitcoin is on dip, altcoins tend to dip also.
I think bitcoin is still better from alts for now since this is the baseline for any increase adjustment.
