Bitcoin is going 9yrs old, so far no alts surpasses Bitcoin. For 9yrs it remains the king. While Bitcoin is going down, no alts remains strong. All alts are crashing too. This is the best indication that Bitcoin has no replacement.
bitcoin has major influence on other coins or altcoins. bitcoin is the parent of another coin, as you said, if price of another coin follow of btc price, until now no one can surpass btc, maybe until whenever

For now we really cannot tell what will happen with bitcoin as no one can accurately predicted what will happen. Bitcoin is still in the top as of now and is still leading the market and the price of bitcoin affects the prices of all the coins in the market. Bitcoin was the first hence why most people are so loyal and will always be to this project because without bitcoin, there wouldn't be the discussion of cryptocurrencies right now.

I don't agree with you, the world is moving forward, anything can be surpassed!

The development of blockchain will bring great application!

There may be a new digital cryptographic currency that has the advantage of encrypting the currency so that it goes beyond the BTC!

Anything is possible!

In the near future, no coin, even the most technologically advanced, will be able to replace bitcoin. Bitcoin is digital gold, it was the first and will remain the first for a long time. Perhaps in several decades we will see another coin on the pedestal, because the world is changeable, but now and in the next ten years bitcoin or who will not replace.

There might be a chance that another cryptocurrency that is better and much more beneficial than bitcoin exists and could someday take over the cryptocurrency industry by storm just as how bitcoin did in the past. If this so happens then it is fine since it goes to show that any altcoin in existence has a fair chance of becoming like bitcoin in the future therefore proving that the cryptocurrency industry is healthy.

Well, in the first place bitcoin is the pioneer of all coin in crypto and this is not the first time of the abrupt downfall of bitcoin value but still no other coin have overcome its value because as what I have observe mostly Altcoin is dependent on bitcoin market value, even ethereum cannot outdated bitcoin.

We are all treating Bitcoin as the most important cryptocurrency right now. Except from a few handful of individuals who are strongly supporting a particular altcoin, nobody will deny that the strongest and the most trusted cryptocurrency since its beginning until today is Bitcoin. And we also want Bitcoin to become even a lot stronger and more trusted. However, I strongly believe about evolution or simply change. I mean, all aspects of our society evolve. Later on, at a particular time we cannot foresee, Bitcoin will also loses its timely value. Something will replace it eventually.

In time their will be a cryptocurrency coin that can surpass the bitcoin and replace it on its position as the king.. But you don’t have to worry for it because it won’t be happening today,, a century from now maybe.. So our existence be unknown at that day,, as all can change in the future..

Buying bitcoin won’t be outdated and won’t be unpopular.. It’s the investment for profits for those who keep on trusting.. This is profitable assets that only deserves longevity and patience..

My answer to the principle is: NO

Bitcoin is money, the value of money is built on confidence, tradition and security, attributes that Bitcoin offers easily. The analogy between Bitcoin and social networks is completely incorrect, people think that Bitcoin is an myspace that will be replaced by facebook. It turns out that Bitcoin is money and not a social network, so this comparison is completely wrong.

Most of mankind's wealth resides in vaults for hundreds of years, so the circulating medium is derisory close to it. Why are we going to need fast, no-fee coins if we can use paper money and banks? Bitcoin's purpose is to be a safe asset, scarce and superior to gold. What is behind Bitcoin is the fact that no politician can steal you through taxes or inflation, there is nothing safer than Blockchain and Bitcoin. So far no technologically superior currency has emerged to Bitcoin to the point of provoking an abyss between technologies and will hardly emerge.

BUY BITCOIN TODAY AND ALWAYS.

You already gave the answer to your question. I agree with you, I do not think any cryptocurrency type Bitcoin can get its place. Besides, many crypto money types are calculated over Bitcoin and the resulting value is converted into Dollar. Certainly serious projects like Ethereum will try to approach Bitcoin, but I do not think any project will be more successful than Bitcoin.

In my own personal opinion, bitcoin will never be outdated by other cryptocurrencies because bitcoin is the first ever cryptocurrency so there are no possible reasons that bitcoin will be outdated or will be replaced, even there are a lot of countries started to banned bitcoin.

How many cryptocurrencies have been through baptisms of fire as Bitcoin? Every difficulty faced by Satoshi's creation makes it shows itself stronger, safer and trustable. People want a traditional and trustable asset in order to allocate their wealth and Bitcoin can handle it. If we wanted instant confirmations and low fees we would use fiat money instead Bitcoin.

As we can view bitcoin it cannot be outdated by another currency although there are many coins existing still bitcoin would be dominates along with other cryptocurrency. We cannot really know what may happen in the future since this cryptocurrency has it's fluctuation but I still believe bitcoin has strong foundation.

Bitcoin is the primary coin, it might be hard to see it now, but all coins were still based on bitcoin and do sometimes reflects their value depending on bitcoin price.
From that aspect I agree, but I wonder why alt coin does not give a positive response when bitcoin price goes down.
should be when Bitcoin decreases then altcoin will increase.
this is annoying especially for traders alt coin.

No doubt with ethereum but I think that altcoin can't replace bitcoin if you remember last year ethereum has almost overtaken the price of bitcoin but unfortunately ethereum can't make to overtake how much more to replace on it. Bitcoin is bitcoin no one can replace it even a paper money currency can't replace the digital money bitcoin.

It's hard to tell since til this day no currency big and bold enough has really came out of the open and made an impact
that rivals or stirs things up. All we have are speculations really, basing stuff like bitcoin's growth and rise. But bitcoin
is quite different, and still different even with all the comparisons and critics that came through it. Bitcoin is an entirely
unique currency. Never duplicated and never imitated. Outdated sounds preposterous, If people would think deeper,
arising and existing currencies are in a sense offsprings from bitcoins. There might come a time for a new currency to
take the limelight, but as long as bitcoin is here it ain't happening.

Bitcoin already has all the signs of aging. But Antiques are always more expensive than new ones. Bitcoin is now the best tool for storing backups. Those who invest the money necessary for daily use may lose their investments in a period of prolonged decline in prices. But those who are willing to wait will never lose their savings.
