Round 13 Payment Details (Similar to R7-R11, for the most part)

========================================================================

R13 Orders should be placed here: http://www.dzminercoop.com/?p=514

BTC Payments will be directed to thomas_s via our site for R13 but I will have co-admin to this wallet for auditing or for payments if we're in a rush. We've worked together on 8 different Group Buys with great success including 2 of the fastest GB sellouts in the forum's history for Industrial class Rigs.

For US Customers: for a 3%  fee for USD conversion to BTC, we recommend: www.cashintocoins.com a FinCen compliant MSB who can get BTC sent to the wallet address you want in as little as 15 minutes to an hour.

For Intl. Customers: We are still exploring suggestions for inexpensive BTC conversion but I can recommend www.bitstamp.net at this time as that's the exchange rate used by our payment processor.

PayPal payments (UPDATE): If payment is being made by Paypal place an order on the site and place a note on the order when you place it saying you're paying by paypal...then give whoever you are buying BTC from the order # and the payment address. Please make sure to send it as a gift to "friends and family." This helps keep your share prices as low as possible (no PP fees) and well as protects us against illegal chargebacks after BTC deposits have already been paid out in November. Sorry, this is no longer available. This payment method is "sold out."

If there's any concerns about registering your payment, please follow up with a PM to Thomas or a support ticket. There's two methods to resolve this:

A. Send a support ticket on our website www.dzminercoop.com

OR

B: PM to thomas_s on this site

Subject: DZ HF GB R13, x shares, x BTC
Details: Please include Tx ID, your wallet address for payout, and any concerns you may have about your transaction(s)

==

thomas_s -  Primary GBC for Rounds 5-10. Co-GBC during R3-R7. R2 member. Send BTC payments and questions for R13 to thomas_s . Set up Online Auto Reservations for the co-op!

DZ - Need escrowed Group Buy shares? For a 2% extra fee you get 3rd party fund holding, dispute resolution, and $500 insurance per transaction at BTCrow. [DISCLAIMER: I, DyslexicZombei, am an approved Escrow Affiliate at BTCrow.] Please PM Carbon Copy thomas_s please prior to escrow payment.

===============================================================================================================

NEW! 10/18 UPDATE from Thomas:

"Bobsag3 will be accepting wire transfers (for 20+ shares).

CC payments are currently suspended; we're working on something more long term. Fortunately, Thomas S. works in finance.

Thomas_s will be accepting TD bank and CitiBank (USA) checks (any quantity of shares). At this time no other banks checks are being accepted.

*These payment options are only available for Rounds that don't need BTC conversions. (At the moment the only open Round(s) are 8 and 11)

I've also located the reason for the zombie rounds...apparently there is a bug in the site where it reduces the stock when the order is placed and when it is paid.

The updates on the forum were going by what the site displayed which was effectively doubling what was actually sold so that's where those shares magically popped up from[/color]"

===

Thomas is handling questions and collecting payments for R13 via our site (unless you require Escrow, in which case you can PM me). He set up the automated reservation site and the GB with my input. Great work Thomas, and it's definitely an improvement over me trying to keep up w/ an avalanche of PMs and payments.  Tongue

I will still handle or assist in:

- Ordering
- Shipping details
- (Optional) Escrowed GB shares for those that insist on Escrow Protection from a 3rd party for: holding BTC funds, post-sales dispute resolution, $500 insurance per transaction at 2% extra cost to share price. Semi-automated Escrow is done thru BTCrow.
- Remote miner setup
- Remote troubleshooting/
- Incremental overclocking
- Payouts or assist in payouts
- Auditing hashrate vis-a-vis payouts
- Dispute resolution and arbitration, if necessary. [Should be rare as we're all adults that don't need to yell. Tongue]

Refunds: If we can't raise the funds to buy the full 800GH/s, we'll just order smaller modules with less hashrate. Refunds are discouraged because of the chaos caused in Group Buys, but if necessary, you will be refunded before the miner ships, at a 1.5% restock fee. After the miner ships, no refunds are available.

By sending payment, you agree to these Refund terms before purchase.

===============================================================================================================

NEW (10/21) Share Ownership Transfer Fee: There is now a 0.75% Ownership transfer fee if you're buying someone else's DZ MC co-op shares. We put a ton of time, money, and BTC to offer the GB community many of the world's best at-cost and below-cost deals. Refunds and share transfers cause chaos and extra work for us.

This 0.75% share transfer fee *MUST* by paid by the new owner before we will transfer share ownership.

We had an earlier R12/R13 mixed order.

This person is being granted an extra share in R13 to compensate for the new lower price in R13.

Thank you!

So when these are no longer profitable mining bitcoin, there will be a vote about switching them to alt currencies or selling them?
Also, looking in your online store and I do not see R13, am I just missing it?  Kicking myself for not getting in the other GB and thinking I should get in this one.

That's because you're too fast and I was still setting up.  Grin

I should have that stock up in a couple of minutes.

Also, yes in this co-op, we vote on major decisions such as sales date, alt-mining, etc., etc..

Haha sorry about that, I was eager!  Currently at work, hoping that this stays open until I get home to move funds around, I assume I have to pay from the address I expect to receive from.

Also I noticed you have finance people at your disposal, but if you need any help with tax advice please feel free to throw questions my way and I will help with what I can.  Currently employed at a multi-billion dollar corporation to prepare tax returns.  I like what your doing and would help if needed. Oh, really? You may be just the right person to join our team if you're interested in sideline work with major promise. We are going places and our activities will go well beyond the range of our usual GBs that we perform here.

If we had a competent intl. biz attorney and a tax expert as our core leaders, we'd pretty much be set and completely internally integrated as far as trying to perform Bitcoin e-commerce.

I'll shoot you a PM with my Skype name, if you'd like to discuss this. I don't want to promise anything, but I'm determined to make this new corporation a 900 pound gorilla in the Bitcoin economy, in a large number of areas that need attention. We have a verticality and depth to our BTC operations that are unmatched on this GB forum.

So I'm down for a share or 2, but there is no add to cart button on the site. Until an add to cart button is there, can this serve as a placeholder for 1-2 shares?

If the order says 'processing' on your account page, that means that the website has detected your payment and that your order is pending manual review/completion. You will receive an email when the order has been completed by staff. In the meantime you might receive an email if you haven't entered your payout adress on the website or if something else is missing/wrong.

Hey Hili,

Thank you very much for the catch! Doh, moving too quickly so I thank you for the math fail catch and would like to give you a 2nd month Free Hosting for any shares you have in this Round and any previous R9-12 rounds, if you have any.

Thank you and cheers! (Plus wouldn't help to copy/pasta this 2nd month free for miner payouts next month just for you, JIC of a math fail again next month.  Cheesy  Wink

==

Also, I can tell you that things are moving quickly on both the "amateur" and the pro side of our activities, and that we hope to have the framework for an investor compensation plan for any Qualified Investors interested in diversifying from miners. As of today, we are officially incorporated as a LLC. doing crypto related ATM business.

As CEO of this nascent Intl. company, my promise to you is that even as our new company grows larger, our company will continue to service this Group Buys forum and will continue to give the "little guy/girl" access to Institutional Pricing via our DZ MC GBs. Without the "little guys/girls" this co-op could not have even conceived of going pro, so we, the co-op's leaders, all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We will likely reduce our GB types to 2 or 3 a month, but we will always remember our roots here, no matter what happens.

I just want to make sure I understand this. When you buy a share, is it for a limited time or is it like buy buying a share of stock on the stock market? Meaning you are earning dividends as long as the coop is in business. The word "Run" is usually a finite amount of time. Can you clarify?
Thanks.

You own it forever, but of course, hosting/management fees still apply.

However, because of rising difficulty, in every one of our Miner Rounds we vote on when to sell the miners starting at about the 4.5 month mark (to sell at or about the 5 month mark) in order to recoup as much of our original purchase. The plan is to sell them to recoup most of the purchase /operating costs when more than 90% of ROI is projected to be met....but at less than the 50% mark (5 months) in the operating year.

I have a long, successful track record for hardware arbitrage.

The sale of any of the co-op's miners will have the funds disbursed in proportion to your ownership of that Rounds miner(s). You can choose to re-invest it in the co-op (in this way: there is no forced percentage of miner equipment re-investment in this GB or co-op; it just happens organically), or one can pursue other choices.

You seemed to have skipped over some parts of my PM though. Take a five, drink a typical Hawaiian cocktail and see that I have provided you with a revision of the OP, ready to copy-paste.

When I buy a share, is there legal documentation that explains what I entitled to? If so, where can I find it?
Thanks.

None of these Group Buys for miner rig shares here have legal documentation at this time that I'm aware of, on any of them. These are "virtual shares" for the uninitiated. There is business insurance on your equipment, and well...our co-op's rep that we won't steal your BTC or fiat.

We've done about $200K in sales now if you include the BTC ATM funds being refunded right now. We're paying out BTC on R5/R6 which is hashing, and will be doing a miner payout on R9-12, which is also hashing, on or about November 15. There hasn't been a single complaint from anyone as to how we've handled their USD/BTC/ID.

Please, please speak up if you don't see your name/address on the official spreadsheet as we're known for being sticklers about getting share ownerships correct., but honest mistakes can happen.

However, on the legal documentation side: I'm happy to report that we incorporated our BTC ATM sub-company. We are setting up a number of sub-companies.

This means that even our "amateur" Group Buys here will soon be given the honest to goodness, pro treatment with good ole legal documentation and the power and rep of our co-op and corporation behind it.

one can get a red fury or blue fury for the same price as 1 share here. Red/blue fury mere 2.5 GHS, your share 8-10 GHS. What's the catch?

I will answer that .  this is a better deal not that much of a catch for small investment of 113 or 226.

for a large investment of 50 shares   one could argue there are better deals.   buy a knc jupiter

btw I have a red fury and still can't get it to work on bitminter.
and I have some cex.io shares
and I have some asic miner sticks.
and I have some shares in a knc group buy.

I have sold 1000 usd in ups gear to the coop ( at half price)  and I do know the location of the mining site.

I am a long term seller on ebay.

Thank you for the input Philip.

Phil's such a great guy he gave the co-op a ~$1500-ish deal for server grade UPS/Batteries...for only $525!

Don't forget, you need to pay electricity for that stick; our hosting costs are cheaper than 99.9% than most home mining sites. You also get access to 5 remote/local admins, every single one of them a longtime IT pro and/or network/software/electrical engineer, with a combined 80 years+ of hardware/software troubleshooting and design experience.

Also: we plan on selling all of our miners at about the 5-7 month mark when most of the year's projected ROI has already been met (90%+), in order to recoup purchase costs and split this among the Round's buyers.

...and I'm very, very good at hardware arbitrage...  Wink  Grin

I'll add my thoughts on this as well.

If you buy the red//blue fury you get a physical item that you can do what you want with it.
You can set it to mine whatever coin you want, btc, any sha256 alt coin etc.
You can see the blinking lights, touch hold and feel it.
You can sell it, show it to your friends and finally make into a keychain when done with it.

With the GB shares you are buying a share in a MUCH larger machine, so you get a lot more GH/s for your money.
But you don't "control" it.
You don't control the pool, You don't control what it mines or anything else.
You also don't have it to worry about keeping it running, cooling it, paying for electricity etc.
Its a hands off option where you pay upfront and collect your monies on scheduled payouts (currently twice a month)

The Co-op also votes on most things such as what pool to mine, when/if to sell and re-coup some costs on the hardware etc.
So you do have a voice (1 vote per share) just not 100% control as you would if you had the physical item in your hands/home.

I MUCH prefer these GBs as I can get much more GH/s per $

When I was younger we didn't have behavioural disorders. They called it "being a brat". It was as simple as that!

We also price our shares in USD so you don't get screwed over by BTC volatility.

So I need to deposit $113 + 3% to www.cashintocoins.com and transfer the resulting bitcoins (varies) to dzminercoop. The exact amount in Bitcoins (exchange rate) is unimportant. Right?

Understood. I'm just trying to verify that if I give them $113 + 3%($3.39) = $116.39 and they send me the resulting bitcoins / bitcoinaverage.com, then that is all I need to send to satisfy my share price.

I guess I'm over analyzing the effect of the exchange rate in the transaction.

yes you are and you may as well buy a little more  120 worth to be sure.  less aggravation to be .01 btc over   rather then .01 btc short.  just keep the left over in the btc address that the share will pay to.  when you place the order from dz's coop you get an email with a btc number around .47  btc it stays locked for around an hour or so.  then order the coins fronm the coin changing company

We are two separate entities, what the site requests is what we need to satisfy your order. As we don't sell BTC you would need to contact a company to do this, we listed one that we feel is reliable for cash to BTC.

Reserve 1 share.  I'll pay up tomorrow. Is it $113 or $123?

If btc keeps rising like it has been then yes.  If it stays the same it's hard to tell, but I'll lean on no.  It depends on difficultly.  If we enter another crash then no

What makes you think it won't! I know it's just speculation, but, if everything stays normal, which assumes BTC stays here or higher, DIFF goes higher at similar rate, then, yes it will give ROI, that too, easily.

We price the units in USD so you are paying the BTC equivalent of that USD. We aren't guaranteeing that you will get your ROI but take a look at R5/6 they are almost 50% to making back investment from a BTC perspective and if you cash out all the BTC earned up till this point you are 10% away from looking at the value of USD you invested. And those units have only been hashing for going on their first month (full month hits next week if I'm not mistaken) R13 if it wasn't posted should be up and fully operational later this week.

What calculation method are you using? And please define 'easily' Smiley

My calc: http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/0965f277be shows, that yes, positive ROI is possible.

Very right now the set up is being done very awkwardly to get them online, a shipment of replacement parts that will arrive before Friday will allow the units to function much better.

50% is good so far.

I'm very cautious now when looking at these group buys.  I lost my ass bad on a few knc jupiter group buys.  I had purchased 4 shares for a total of 6.2 BTC and at most I will get back maybe 2.7 if I am lucky.

These black arrow runs are by far the most appealing.

We try to keep the indivudual threads updated, but as soon as R13 is full and we are hashing at 100% across all 5, I think we will merge into a new thread. Also, Im waiting to calculate the reimbursement that R9-12 will receive for the loss in hash this past week.

Have to forgive me if this info is elsewhere, but was interested in investing.  Just going to list some questions and if you could answer here or PM, I'd appreciate it.

How many shares are available?

How can we track how much BTC we're generating and what pool is going to be used?

For payout purposes, is it going to accumulate in an account - or is it wired to my BTC address every 2 weeks.

I'm sure I have more questions, but thought this might be good for now.  I'm assuming just purchase through the website if I'm ready to go

I'm assuming just purchase through the website if I'm ready to go
100 in R13

We put up a page on our website that shows the total earnings.

Payouts are sent every 2 weeks (1st and 15th of the month to your BTC address)

even at these reduced rates, will these units actually give ROI?
Regards,
Brian
What makes you think it won't! I know it's just speculation, but, if everything stays normal, which assumes BTC stays here or higher, DIFF goes higher at similar rate, then, yes it will give ROI, that too, easily.

My thoughts were:
I bought 10 shares of R12. So that would be 10% of the units income or 100 GH(I'll use the high-end). It looks to be a profit right now. http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/14549edc12
That is assuming the bitcoins price stays this high and 100 GH hash rate. Or am I missing something?
Regards,
Brian

So there is a real-time type chart on the website or is it just updated whenever someone manually updates it?

Which pool are you using, or are you using your own?  Is there a way to follow 'workers' if you are using an external pool (so could follow stats)?

Its an api, it is able to update itself every ~10 minutes.

We've been using BTCGuild, and the workers are part of the chart

Fixed my typos and errors from earlier copy/pasta from earlier rounds (why yes, R11 did have free hosting, no that's no longer available (except to Hili who caught my early morn. rush off to work math fail and other mishtakes)).

Hopefully, that should've cleared up some confusion. Thanks.

Hi, I ordered and paid for a share of R13. My order is still in status: "processing". Is there anything else I need to do to finalize it? And is it going to go live on Friday, as mentioned?
Thanks

Payouts aren't handled until the 15th for R13, I'm still busy processing R14 refunds, tomorrow I'm off from work so I should be able to get caught up on R13 sales tonight.

I never got any confirmation for 518 and 519 order. This is total of 6 shares. Did not want to send a PM as I see you guys are already busy with stuff here and didn't want to clutter your inbox. Please let me know if it's all good from my side. Thanks!

In for order #557

I assume you will use the same sending address as our payout address?    Or, is/will there be a way to change our payouts to different wallets for different orders?

Thanks!

I just made an order, #563

I see "You must make a payment within 1 hour, or your order will be cancelled".

Can you extend it if I will not be fast enough to send btc today? For example till tomorrow?

You can see the status of your orders on the website. If your orders on the website (on the account page) say on hold, that means that the website has yet to detect your payment. Processing means that the website has detected your payment and that your order is pending manual review/completion. Completed means that your order has been completed and you will receive a confirmation email.

You can send a very small amount of BTC to the address. That way that address will be reserved for your payment. Otherwise the address will get recycled and will likely be used again for other orders.

Unfortunately I have too small BTC to even do that on my account. So then only option is to make an order again and the previous one would be cancelled yes?

The site automatically stops tracking (you do have more than an hour most I've tested it for was 6 hours) My suggestion would be to place the order closer to when you can pay for the order.

Understand, but on the page "Order Received" I do not see cancel option. There are generated bitcoin address to send BTC to and another details of order but no cancel option.

Order #561 made on November 7, 2013. Order status: processing what else should I do right now? where do I enter my BTC address so I can get pay?
You could fill in a payout-address in the 'notes' field on the order summary page. If you haven't done that, you will get an email shortly asking for an address.

I've made one microtransaction to the given address in order as one user (Hili) suggested and my order is now:

Order #563 made on November 7, 2013. Order status: on-hold.

Does it means it still waits for rest of payment?

I waited about 3 hours between my first payment and the final payment that paid for the order in full. I'm just waiting for confirmation.

I don't see that Where is that located in the site?

If you have already confirmed your order it's a bit too late to enter it in the site, don't worry you'll get an email. There was a 'notes' field on the same page where you got to enter name, address, phone number, etc for your order before you confirm it. There isn't any indication that you're supposed to enter your payout address there. That's why I have missed it twice as well :p. (That could be more clear - suggestion)

And will it be ok when more than 1 hours already passed?

Yes, as long as you have sent any amount to the address, you can wait a reasonably long time before paying the full amount. Although I suggest you do it before the round ends.

They got hacked or something and someone emptied the entire place out.  They are gone.

I didn't think we had anything to do with them, but I saw a few inputs banners here and there and figured better to ask then to sit in ignorance.  Glad we are safe.  Smiley

I cannot trust cashintocoins.com to buy coins: they have an SSL problem so basic (cert belongs to different FQDN) that I don't trust them even with my email address.

What's another place to get some coins quick?

Better question, approximately when does it look this round will end?

Thx

btcquick.com

I can recommend them as a reliable source I've used. 7.5% fees, IIRC, so you're paying extra for that convenience.

As for when this round ends, thanks to DZ MC leader and BA reseller bobsag3 (who is also the US Distributor for Drillbit Systems), we have enough access to BA boards that we can run an R13B and possibly an R13C, if necessary.

I have a mtg. in a bit that should give some clarification to PMs I've received on a variety of issues, then I'm heading out.  Sorry, getting to PMs later tonight.

I had figured the cart would have a stock level built in and automatically sell out when done, but I just tried adding 100 shares to my cart and it still let me so I guess not.

Your order was placed about 20 hours ago, first payment received from you was 2-3 hours ago.

I've located both orders that this involves and market them as processing.

As per the OP you have to send something so the site holds the address if its unused it will reuse it.

Hi Pablo,

Sorry for the delay. We're not intentionally ignoring people; everyone in the co-op is just really, really busy (and also have other jobs...at this point).

1. A consequence of our world's lowest prices and free tools which helps lead to these low prices, is well, crappiness from these free tools. The orders have to be processed and confirmed by hand at this point (keeping in mind that some orders required multiple payments and can require a bit of detective work when this happens). The back end is terrible, and Thomas was in the middle of getting the details on refunding about 180 BTC correct, so that was the biggest priority in the free time he had.

We actually had to slow down the refunds. In our rush to get BTC refunds back as quickly as possible, about $1K worth of BTC was accidentally sent (which was fortunately returned by an honest co-op member).

We're also victims of our own success in that we've had so many sales come in to our site, that it's really been a PITA to try to keep up (while also planning, holding daily board meetings, and registering sub companies for our far flung and varied pro crypto ventures we're setting up in various parts of the BTC economy).

To deal with this site backlog and fundamental site problems: we also had a long mtg. yesterday with a site designer who is a fellow GB Coordinator who runs his own GBs and is a website designer. He does great work and we're proud to be associated with him. Work should begin this weekend on our professional Version 2.0 site, with much, much better order tracking and back end tools which will make all of our lives much simpler, and should help reduce the time between processing and when orders show as complete.

In the future we also plan on adding pro cloudhashing to our pro site.

2. I have a preliminary report of R13. Unfortunately, due to broken boards from the R9-12 Bullet Run (sometimes you can't make an omelet without breaking eggs), we will not be able to get to full hashrate on R13 until about Thursday/Friday next week. The BA replacements for the broken boards are shipping Monday.

We will NOT be compensating R13 via BTC for lost hashrate; we are an at-cost Miners Cooperative that gives you the world's lowest prices and most exclusive deals, and are already compensating members for lost hashrate due to Bullet Run issues that arose in R9-12.  We cannot afford to give charity for R13 on top of the compensation we are already doing for R9-12.

You will have two options to resolve this:

A. You can request a refund and we will process it as quickly as we can.

B. You can wait until Friday/Saturday Nov 16/17, when R13 should be fully up and running. For your patience in waiting an additional week, bobsag3 will give R13 a free month of miner hosting, which is currently worth $200.

Please let us know what you decide. If you don't send a PM to thomas_s. requesting a refund, then we will assume that you're ok with the default B option which gives you a $200 bonus in the form of free miner hosting for the first month.

There still are no better deals for ASIC hardware around IMO.

3. We've decided on a 1st of the month and 15th of the month payout schedule for DZ MC GBs.

This is pretty unclear. Is there a reduced hash rate until Th/Fri or no hashing at all?

There is no hashing of R13 at all, at the moment. The amount of broken boards in the Bullet Run that are being replaced is equivalent to R13's hashrate.

There were also sales he had to get out for people that bought full boards at higher prices outside of our GB, so that also reduced his stock.

You can request a refund OR wait a week to start hashing and get the equivalent of a $200 miner hosting bonus for waiting.

Ok so if I understand it right, 1 share of R13 (that is 8.34 - 10GH/s) will be hashing since Fri/Sat at the previously promissed hashrate yes? And our fee that should be 2.5% will  be 0% for the first month from date R13 starts working?

Refund will be exactly how much BTC you paid- I have not touched the money. DZ and Thomas_s hold all the money till the hardware is ready, then I get paid.

I am really sorry about this, but with R9-12 just getting to full speed, I would prefer to refund people than make them wait in the dark.

Sounds like bob received a lot of defective boards. Has black arrow addressed them so that it will not continue? Asking as will more RMA's cut into getting the equipment up in time to meet the next deadline?

Bob said earlier that he had enough equipment to get R13 started. Does this change mean he is getting more failures which means keeping the existing GBs and sales satisfied.

I suggest that no more R13 sales be continued until enough equipment can be guaranteed to work. That is due to the possibility of more RMAs in the future.

Can someone address the seemingly low hash rate for the latest batch of bit fury chips.  The blue furies seem to have a high number of hardware errors causing a high rejection and lower hash rate.

Also, how long will those that have shares in be allowed to request a refund. It looks like not all order numbers have been processed.

Mahalo
Order#'s not processed that are "processing" and haven't received an email are oversales, they will be moved to R13 as spots open up in the order of payment, if you are an oversale order and just want a refund you can have it.

I thought I did- then encountered some more failures I did not know about.
BA is fixing them and getting me replacements- no problem. But Its not your responsibility as the buyer to carry the risk I took. Hence the refund. R13 is also closed.

These boards are all actually running great- on the functioning boards  (~83 so far) they average between 39 and 41 per board.

Refund will be open untill I have the hardware we need, or all refunds have been processed.

Thomas, my order for R13 #563 from November 7, 2013 is still "Processing" and I didnt get any email.  Does it mean my order is oversale?

Ok, so once R13 is hashing all "oversolds" will be automatically refunded?

Is there a plan later to add more boards to get hashing up to 10g per share or too much of a money loser at this point?

Thank you for your responses. Really appreciate all that is done here. Mining is not all plug and play and how much time and effort you all have put into this.

Both R13 and R13 oversold can get refunds at any time. We are not in the habit of keeping your money Smiley. Thomas might be a little slow (hes got to work all today) but I know he plans on getting it all done worst case tomorrow.

I am still planning on additional boards, if possible.

If you don't send a PM to thomas_s. requesting a refund, then we will assume that you're ok with the default B option which gives you a $200 bonus in the form of free
I hope refund will be the same amount of BTC?

Refund will be exactly how much BTC you paid- I have not touched the money. DZ and Thomas_s hold all the money till the hardware is ready, then I get paid.

I am really sorry about this, but with R9-12 just getting to full speed, I would prefer to refund people than make them wait in the dark.
PM for refund sent to thomas_s.

If you'd like to follow up your private refund request with a public refund request as a public confirmation, that's actually a big help as a double check.

Thanks.

Just a reminder: we should be fully hashing by Friday/Saturday.

===

I think we need to remember how much we've accomplished as a small team that hasn't been together for very long, as a reminder that while we're sending out Refunds for R13, we've succeeded in launching working new miner hardware out into the wild, almost 4 months ahead of Black Arrow's Prospero launch (I may end up picking up the first batch of chips in Feb. if bobsag3 is buying tickets). Although we're working on a smaller scale: we've succeeded where much, much larger and well funded teams and manufacturers have failed. From the time we announced pre-sales on near term hardware, to delivery and preliminary mining, was only a matter of 2-3 weeks. bobsag3 has already promised at least 7 BTC compensation to R9-13 to account for lost hashrate.

By participating in yet another innovation we've succeeded in adding to the GB forums, we've proved that a small dedicated team *can* procure and sell ASIC hardware at an affordable price, and have learned alongside with our customers how "sausage" gets made (hint: it's not always pretty).

So thank you for the support and again: we apologize for the oversales condition for Round 13, and hope that you'll accept 1 months free hosting as compensation, to stick with us for another week. If not, no hard feelings. It's simply business.

We're evolving into a real, honest to goodness business thanks to the support of our customers and partners and refunds are simply a fact of doing business and having to adapt to news and changes that effect us.

I've also mentioned previously that we're planning to launch cloudhashing for our pro version of our co-op's site (version 2.0). If we do launch cloudhashing, we plan to remain true to our roots of bare bones, rock bottom ASIC rig prices combined with our customer service (which we hope we're doing a good job of, even though this is essentially only our PT jobs at the moment that we're trying to perform with really bad backend tools for now).

======================================================================================================

If/when we launch our pro cloudhashing services, we will have a special offer just for our active co-op members if/when we launch this, as our thank you to our loyal customers.

======================================================================================================

Cheers,

DZ, Founder of "the lil co-op that could" and a new Cryptocurrency focused Intl. company

Refund received thanks.  To the coop members.  when I purchased this i paid .47 btc  I asked for .45 btc and donated .02 btc to the coop.   So far this coop is so honest that with the rise in btc price I made usd doing this.   Please stay this good.  It is a breath of fresh air to me to see good in BTC people.  Thanks again.

We will be opening up an R15, the following are the details

The new Mid Nov. KNC Jupiter
based on numbers given by KNC ~11gh/s - $105 $110

50 shares in R15 (ability to move to R15B)

This includes the normal DZMC hosting services (battery back up, shipping, generator)

If you have a current order that can be refunded your refund can be applied to the R15, to do this you must place an order on the site for R15 then you must contact me by either PM, Support ticket, or in the order notes (right before checkout where you enter fake address etc.) with the order you want refunded to go to this order.

Example

I want order xxx refund applied to YYY,

If there is a difference in BTC in either direction please take this into account,
- If the BTC value of the new order is less than the old order  you will get a refund of the difference (unless you want it to be kept by the coop for expenses, we are not asking you to do this but it is an option)
- If the BTC value of the new order is more than the old order you will need to pay send the difference.

If you would like to know your odds of making it into R13 (your in oversales) I can tell you how likely you are if you send me a PM.

This order was just made this weekend. We are Order # 106xx.

Since this is KnC's second batch, and they have learned and improved from their initial product launch, we're pretty confident that this miner will ship in mid-November to late-November.

Hey guys,

Once it nears the point where it becomes unprofitable to run these miners, will you guys be selling the boards in an attempt to recoup some profits?

So R15 has about half 1 unit sold (a bit past the half way point)

Refunds are being issued still and transfers are available.

Stats
The DZMC has issued almost 200 BTC in refunds (USD Value apx. $62,000.00) within the past 72-86 hours, with ~70 unique addresses.

The transfer is available as long as R15 is open, instead of sending the refund back to you it is applied as a credit to your new order, if there is any BTC left over it can be sent back to you.

I have not gotten a completed  so i figure there is still an oversold condition?

These Black Arrow miners seem to have a scalability and i was wondering if the oversolds could be added to the R13 group and hashrate adjusted accordingly?

I am hoping there will be enough equipment to do so.

Thank you.

The original issue was that I did not get enough working hardware for R13, so not even room for the oversold Sad

Is there a way to check hash rate of r12 and earlier group buys for black arrow bullet. Thanks.
http://www.dzminercoop.com/?page_id=302

So how do you read this?
Its like 4 group buys merged into one single system?

Go back to the thread on what ever number you were on to see more, they combined 4 into 1 and it all has a new r9-12 thread.

Great merged mining BTC pool at http://mmpool.bitparking.com/ my monitor site for it http://bitmonitor.usr.io/

They are all merged, R9-12 each consisted of 20 boards so to make it easy we merged the rounds and have 80 boards.

Sorry if this questions was asked earlier too,
r13 will be merged too, or will this be completely separate from r9-r12?

Good news. Any chance R13 will be up and hashing tomorrow?

Probably not, repairs on the boards are taking longer than expected. Will probably have to do a full refund/transfer.

Thanks! Guess it's time to send Bobsag3 a refund request.

It will still happen if there's enough share holders left, new ETA would be Friday or Saturday of next week.

I'll stick it out for another week if we have enough people who stay in.

Of course!  It may take a bit to sort out but we've never denied anyone a refund on equipment that hasn't shipped yet. Cheesy  Grin

We even refunded about $65K worth of BTC recently when the R14x ATM GB fell through due to legal reasons. When we collect these funds to purchase Rigs and hardware for the Group, they are *never* our funds and we never, ever forget that.

Think of us as the favorite neighborhood uncle collecting funds for community upgrades like a public park...except in this case, we collect funds from the community so we can band together for Institutional Pricing where no one is getting gouged.

To clarify about the R13 boards:

- Black Arrow says the repairs are taking longer than expected due to extensive damage and a shortage of vital electronics components.

bobsag3 is doing his very best to also search out alternate sources of hashrate, but deliverable hashrate is looking rather grim until the next major mfg. enters the market. However, the odds of him getting this alt. source of hashrate is looking very high, and he's delivered well for this forum before, even making up for lost hashrate from our over optimistic assumptions about a flawless Black Arrow Bullet Run for R9-12.

Options available to you are:

A. Hanging out until the boards come back (or bobsag3 gets his hand on alt. hardware w/ the same Bitfury chips)
B. A refund - Please open a support ticket on our co-op's website for a refund to help us improve our refund efficiency
C. Transferring your payment to our exclusive R17 Black Arrow Prospero x-3 at $110 for 40GH/s in late February
D. Transferring your payment to R18 Bitmine Rig at $70 for 10-15 GH/s in mid January

For C & D: We will either refund you the difference or ask you to pay for additional GB share payments depending on the number of shares you end up buying in R17 and/or R18.

Hey Miramyn,

Our last update was that the repairs were taking longer than expected. Also, getting one's hands on new or even slightly used hashrate is proving to be pretty difficult at the moment.

Refunds are available or you could contact Thomas to move funds to the R17x Black Arrow x-3 or R18x Bitmine Rig GBs.

Yes but they won't be available until the unit is ready to hash, also its looking like all oversales will be able to fit into the unit, except maybe one as I haven't gotten to processing a few refunds I don't know the exact number.

Refunds are available or you could contact Thomas to move funds to the R17x Black Arrow x-3 or R18x Bitmine Rig GBs.

What are we talking about? Days? Weeks?
Days. Looks like they missed the UPS cutoff on thursday, so they Will not be here till tuesday/wednesday, and thats not certain because of thanksgiving. Again, sorry for all the delays, but thats what the refunds are for Smiley

Thanks to everyone who hung in there for R13.

bobsag3 just told me that the boards will be in tomorrow on Wednesday.  Smiley

==

Also, if you didn't see my update on one of the other DZ MC GB threads, I'm a bit backed up on the PMs. Sorry, if I haven't gotten to your PM yet. Starting a new biz is time consuming, and we have a number of projects going on.

Doing my best to get caught up but please PM thomas_s, or bobsag3 (for hosting related questions) if you have questions that they may be able to answer for you.

Cheers,
DZ

I think first dibs on the shares should be given to people who hang on on this round and didn't bail on the GBs.

R13 has been full, even with the refunds. R13 was originally oversold by a round.

Also bobsag3 says that the boards arrived in one of the boxes today, he'll be getting them up as soon as he can.

Are we mining?  dzminercoop.com says we are supposed to be.

Can we get R13 added to the dzminer coop page so we can monitor hashrate and earnings?

When I was younger we didn't have behavioural disorders. They called it "being a brat". It was as simple as that!

We apologize however it seems after some time trying to set up R13 it will not be able to get going, we didn't get all the boards back yet. Instead of continuing to hold the funds we will give full refunds of the BTC amount  you paid. Also I will activate coupons on the site, if you where one of the people that stuck with us to this point your email address will give you ~$5 off per share in R17 (you must enter the email in the coupon field).

Downside is there is no hashing, upside BTC is now valued quite a bit higher than what it was when you paid.

I will update this thread when everything is set / done, you do not need to request the refund it will be done by the payout address you gave when ordering. DO NOT send a message asking for a refund all it will do is slow the refund process down.

I really appologize for this guys, Pretty much my fault Sad.

Its was just a string of delays and small problems, and just decided it was up and time to refund people so we dont hold unto coins that are not ours. If/when I get enough hashpower for a proper R13, We will re open it at a adjusted price.

Very unfortunate but I appreciate you being such a stand up group of guys and making the hard decision to issue refunds.  I'll be watching for this GB to open back up.

Any ETA on refunds?

2 questions:

1) antminer S1?

2) LTC mining?

1) Are there any being sold? All that I've seen are Q's to be able to buy and that there is a fairly long reservation list.

2) Yep were doing that / starting too. No GB's yet as were still figuring out how to do those but we are selling rigs and the ability to have them hosted.

NM.  Sorry, was using the wrong email. Picked up 2 shares of R17 and still have half left to put somewhere else.  Not a bad deal
