DEVS:
A difficulty display, block explorer & pools would help a lot.

One hour and 25 minutes since mainnet launch, 2 i7 CPUs mining full power and no blocks found. On Telegram most of the people declare the same experience. All friend whom I've invited for this lauch have already left, asking me why would they have to spend tens of $ a day of electricity to end up having mined ZERO webdollars at the end of the day. The team dreams about mass adoption but then seems happy to see people leaving the project after just one hour, judging from their comments on Telegram. Pools would have saved the day, I did recommend having them ready for the lauch but team told they were not necessary. So we are having a frustrating start. A pity. It could have been a boom. Now only pools can save this project.
I'll give it a few hours. But I'm having the same experience. I'm now sitting around 4kh/s and no blocks found since launch. if 1mh/s is the nethash, I should find a block within about 300 blocks. I'll report back in an hour or so. The devs might even be tech geniuses but if they totally lack knowledge in psychology and sociology they should listen to those who understand these social sciences. If you seek mass adoption for your network and then you don't care if you piss off on the very first day of launch 99% of your network, then you are having a problem.

I got 2 blocks in the first hour with 2.5 kh. Since than another hour passed and nothing but I am sure more will come. The electricity doesn't cost tens of dollar per day for sure:), if you have GPU's use them to mine another coin.
Edit: I got only 1 block, I thought the reward per block is 3000 WEBD.

This is the entry network which your miner knows about.

We will have soon pools. Just need some patience from miners. Untill first pools appeared in Bitcoin no one was lefting mining BTC just because it is hard to mine.

We will have soon pools. Just need some patience from miners. Untill first pools appeared in Bitcoin no one was lefting mining BTC just because it is hard to mine. When bitcoin started there was no where near 1000 miners. Let alone 500. or even 250. You had a test-net for awhile with people mining, then on your first launch you saw a lot more miners than expected, to the point you delayed the launch by 8 days. So you had a good idea of what to expect come official launch. Your coin distribution is going to be very poor for a few months to come at this rate. more so, the point of not having pools is to allow more potential for solo miners before the net-hash jumps. Seeing as your net-hash is already over 1mh/s, (shows 500kh/s to 1.5mh/s), solo miners are not hitting blocks. So their isn't much incentive to mine.

If coin launch was 3 hours ago, Why are we not further on the chain by now?
20 sec block times.
Launched 3 hours ago.
ok math.
3 blocks in a minute 60 minutes in an hour =180 blocks an hour 180 blocks/hr x3 = 540
So we should be on block 540. But the website shows 400. what gives?

Nope, actually the block times is 40s not 20. It seems we forget to update.

Mining for a while now with my laptop and never finding a block. Since difficulty will supposedly only raise in future, and people will be less and less likely to find blocks and to earn coins as time goes by, why should they actually want to mine? If on the first day it is already so difficult to actually mine any coins, how on earth can this project even think to be scalable to mass adoption?
During the first aborted launch I had written these lines. A pity my concern was not taking into consideration by the devs, since now the situation seems even worse, with most of the people not finding any blocks. Most of them will soon will lose motivation for mining.
Moreover, the first Bitcoin miners where moving in uncharted territory. We are in a different age now, these are known problems, and to refuse to learn from past experiences is stupid. And your declared mission was to go beyond Bitcoin - towards mass adoption. Too bad your actions are not coherent with that mission. Starting with solo mining where almost nobody gets rewards will select only a tiny group of nerds, willing to spend a lot of money in electricity for just the hope of hitting some blocks. That's the CONTRARY of mass adoption. With already working pools, as it had been suggested, it would have been a great launch. Instead, it's just a huge wasted occasion. Now you will have to swim against the tide.

I've seen people say 3k/block and 6k/block now. The front page says 3k. can anyone confirm? Also an update for me, running roughly 4k h/s since launch and got 18k WBD so far. I was afk when I hit the blocks so I cant say if they are 3k or 6k.

There are 100 years of mining left this is just the beginning.

Regarding what I said about your distribution, It seems better than I previously thought. It just seems one would need a higher end CPU at the least to produce any results in the same day, which pools will fix.

Guys, mining is obviously harder now as the reward has doubled but also the frequency. There are over 1K nodes, you can't just beat all of them. Just be patient, there's enough for everyone Keep mining on WebDollar.io and join WebDollar forum: WebDollarForum.com

Yes, we will have also after mining pools a bounty program with 1 milion webds. Check here https://webdollar.io/bounties if you have to get reward from our previous baby bounty program

Something people can do in the meantime while we wait for pools, with trusted people, is share a mining address and just split the rewards.

After how many blocks will the reward split to 3000? How much time until that halving? I seem to remember that at first launch the reward was 3000...
