Seems like the miner exploits some bug on the server side that causes the hashrate/reported shares to increase without actually contributing to the network hash. This is why it doesn't work on other pools.
I got the same feeling. This theory also correlates nicely with the bad luck the pool has.

I would like to ask the dev to confirm or deny it Smiley

A week ago I was writing about it Wink https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3259259.msg36659425#msg36659425
and no reaction from dev.
Now MPH pool luck (un-luck Wink ) make mining XZC unprofitable. Sad

If I'm wrong, dev correct me.

that`s right, power of miner now is still numbers. no profit.

It's funny how devs never denied accusations on exploiting bug on MPH, bassically cheating people who use this miner on devfee.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3259259.msg34811411#msg34811411

This miner would never work on another pool. Guys, try using ccminer-tpruvot-225 for lets say 24 hours on f2pool and compare your income. It will be the same as using this miner on MPH minus devfee. That is a fact.

MPH had very bad luck lattly while F2pool had extremely great luck:
https://insight.zcoin.io/blocks

And now we see that MPH posted this:
Quote
- Several coin network were rolled back by 51% attack these days. Pool increased minimum confirmation num for some coins. You may need to wait longer to withdraw mined coins than before.

the block confirmation now is " 120 confirms.".

What do you think, how F2pool got so lucky with ~130Ghs?
I asked about this on zcoin thread but no 1 seemed to care :-(.

an attacker with majority power can:
Reverse transactions that he sends while he’s in control. This has the potential to double-spend transactions that previously had already been seen in the block chain.
(The attacker could spend a coin, then create a new fork in which those coins were never spent, allowing the attacker to spend the coins again).
Prevent some or all transactions from gaining any confirmations
Prevent some or all other miners from mining any valid blocks

on F2pool zcoin page:
Quote
F2Pool have encountered a bug of Zcoin, and created an side chain unexpectedly.
We have roll back mined blocks on our side chain. Daily payment is postponed until recalucation is done.
You may notice a decrease in balance because difficulty of side chain is lower than main chain. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I like this.

Problem is on a few of my miners I can only run the 2.2.9 version. Otherwise I get an error in ccminer that I do not have cuda 9.2. I know the one rig with this problem has all the updated drivers. What else could it be?

Have you tried to install new drivers?(397.xx)
https://www.techpowerup.com/244495/nvidia-releases-geforce-397-93-whql-drivers
I know that those drivers also support the miner version card too.

How can fix it?

You need minimum 2 pascal gpus, intel hd is not pascal gpu,
Wait to new release, the new zfastminer-234 will support 1-19 gpus and suprnova pool also as you can read last devs post...

Question to the dev team:

Are there any plans for this miner when ZCOIN switches to MTP ?
