Yes. I always watch and buy after ICO. But it wasn't such way always. Few years ago, when ICO wasn't so popular. I bought SibCoin. And I'm very glad. I sold it on a top, and now again plan to buy it. Because with all this correction price dropped nice. Also I know that there are a strong team with a big expirience behind. So I'm sure that I'll make again huge profirs)

Good Day guys, just searching for an alternative way to invest my money to,
so the question is, is buying new listed token(token that just ended ICO) to an exchange profitable? do many of you do that? would you recommend doing that? or should I buy on their ICOs?
Depends on the potential value of the coin. There are coins that have been listed but prices have fallen so much because no one has the need to use this coin but there are also many pennies that make a profit.

For last six months, it's been seen that the price of a token comes below the ICO price after being listed to market.
And when you buy from the exchange, you don't have to hold it for long.
At current period of depression, every legit coin listed for over a week can be profitable in long run.
I do not agree with you, the CPY and ATFS coin after being listed are worth a tenth of the value of the ICO, in each case we can buy and hold. But pennies like CPY and ATFS should not be bought

Investment on a newly listed coin is such that go either ways depending the success of its ICO, the team behind it, and the relevance/sustainability of the idea behind its inception in the first place. As someone have posted earlier, it is always good to be extremely cautious dealing with cases like this. Putting all that are needed into their rightful places, I don't think anyone should have problem

I think buying new listed altcoins is not a good idea because most of the new listed tokens/coins are being dump by it's holder and bounty participants when they find out that their rewards tokens are already listed. This is the reason why i disagree that new listed coins are profitable. In case of buying new listed coins, I prefer to buy in their ICO period, the prices of tokens in ICOs are much cheaper than those on markets.

Wait for the market to come up and wait for it to fall. I'm sure that you'll earn a lot here because more tokens can be bought. And of course when it's up, it's definitely a bigger profit you'll get.

Yes, absolutely. Because as you see, the new list coin in coinmarket cap has a potential for a one time dump. Due to its first main reason, the investors that are in a flipping mode - meaning they just buy ico at a discounted price and sell it automatically when it hit on the exchange, and the next one is the bounty hunters that is aiming for a quick sell at a low price. It is a great opportunity to buy at this time but be careful. It may just last sooner than you think.

If you see that the coin has fallen in price more than 2 times since the moment of ICO, then of course it can be bought. Very often the price is restored in a few weeks. The best place for this is Etherdelta.

Could be the best way to earn profits.
But you have to see the project behind the coin itself, and if you can, you should buy the coin before it listed in big market such as binance.
And hours before it listed, make sure you buy it on another market with cheaper price before it enters big markets.

i think the profit we get may depend on the the project itseft and the exchange which has listed the new coin, because investors usually buy token in ICO before it is listed on exchanges so they still have profit even when ICO is scammed, and some exchanges no matter how good is the token, it will always be dumped at the first moment is listed on the exchange, so it is quite a lucky game.

You won't really know for sure because every coin is different. Some coins would increase their value after exchange and some don't. Some coins blooms then immediately dies. You'd never really know, the chance of you having more profits really depends on how lucky you are. If the current market price would still go up or reduced to rubbles.

Certainly it is profitable, but it is necessary to buy them more attentively. Read the white paper carefully for each coin. Analyze whether this project is necessary for society

to buy new coins I think you should first see if the coins are worth buying or not, because now many new coins are scam outstanding,
so you have to be careful to buy new coins before you regret later
and if you want to buy a new coin, you should know that the coin is potentially good in the future and supported by a solid team, so you can get a lot of profit

In some cases it could be profitable while in most cases you could be heading for a huge loss on your investment. You can just put some money in select ICOs and put some in established projects. By so doing you reduce the potential risk.

Of course, the main advantage is not to make a mistake as you can be in a big minus, it seems to me that only new coins need to be bought, since after the listing on the stock exchange it's always not a great price, but in the future, if everything is good, then the price grows!

My opinion is that it is very profitable, because the price can soar. Undecided But here it is difficult to guess, it is necessary to study the project. There are always risks

Buying new coin can be really profitable, if you know what is pump and how to feel the critic moment to sell in that process.

yes this is true, it is very profitable if the new token is listed on the exchange after ICO is completed. but this does not seem like an alternative way to invest your money. You should also know that not all tokens listed on the exchange after the end of ICO will work. careful consideration should be taken to participate in ICO.

I know, that when ICO ends and bounty guys are getting their tokens, the great dump can take place, so buying in that moment can be good!

Most of the time it is very profitable, because prices can soar, but not all of them are like this. I think that investment is betting on luck. If you are unlucky, then you will have a big loss. Smiley
