the lack of a May financials report doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

The site redesign looks pretty good, hopefully they can get more traffic.

Well yeah. None of these small companies on Havelock report on time every time. No CFOs and compliance officers handy.

I'm more concerned about the large quantity of shares being dumped. Seems to imply big, early investors.

There has never been a delay this long for monthly reporting, to the 19th of the following month...Sure I understand the upgrade takes priority but no wonder people are dumping the stock - if you don't tell them anything they will assume the worst.

The upgrade and domain switch has taken full priority.

Rational folks would see this giant change as a positive step in the right direction, and not assume the "worst"

So that the team can continue focusing on domain switch, we will have a consolidated report for May / June (and the Q2 financials) in the early June time-frame.

Working on the table issue as well, thanks for the heads up!

There is some interesting post @ nxt forum in pangeapoker thread by EstefanTT, check it out:

Quote
I'm a pro online on the highiest cash game tables I can find in my country (IP controlled, no .com field)

I'll give here my thoughts to help you guys think about it.

The bot control system seem pretty good to me. Keep thinking about it, it seem to be the good path !

Human collusion is not a bid deal. If your are good enough to understand the game and make money out of colluding with a friend at a couple tables you would win much more playing 8 tables seriously.

If you want volume, you want pros. I usually play 8 -10 tables / 5-6h / 6 days a week.
It's about the same as 90 recreational players, playing one table, 2 x 2 h / week.

To attract pros you ABSOLUTELY need an hand history compatible with holdem manager or pokertracker. That's all I always hear when I speak with other pros about BTC rooms ... "Is HM running on this room ? No ? Neh, I don't like to play without a HUD" ... We are too damn used to play with it.

In doubt you can produce an HH exactly equal to (ex.) Cakepoker (wich is compatible with HM and PK) and having only the name changed. So the community can figure out a simple python or autohotkey script to change the name and have stats. It would also make it esasier for HM and PK to accept your room because they would just have to change one simple line of code.

You also need to attract the pros with a low rake and a good straightforward rakeback system ( no bs system like bwin / PS and 888 have done it well). There is already plenty of bitcoin rooms with 2.5% rake with rakeback system. I would consider 2.5% as the maximum and aim 2% to hit hard omn the mentalities/news.

I hope my thoughts may have help you guys. Cheers Smiley

How about the July numbers?

I think this is what the reference was to in terms of giving the report this week.

I'd like a rundown of how close we are to getting dividends, though. I've read through the financials each month but I don't understand what determines whether or not a dividend is paid, and if so, how much. I'd like to see if we're moving in the right path towards earning them, or if that's still in limbo due to P/L.

Dividends are one thing. If they want to be taken seriously though, they need to act predictably. One way is to reliably produce monthly reports on time.

If I understand correctly from the past, they're "net" profitable most months, but are still spending a lot of money on software development. Hopefully at some point that switches over to spending a small fortune on marketing. My guess is that it will be a while before dividends resume.

Hi jrlichtman  (and others)

I apologize for the slip in communication.

Our numbers are always posted in our public documents, usually on the first of the month - but it could slip a few days. We will post monthly metrics consistently, but the full report will shift to quarterly.

Monthly Metrics: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmSWZWkGJ1V3dFpxZHVTN0x6ZldUeHRteWdBd1pMNXc#gid=16

P&L - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mFzQOuJ-8hBI8ftH75EEhRkcpLh8NbJMJPOoKhK17Yo

Sportsbook:        -2.75 btc
HTML5 Casino:    +12.835 btc
Bit777/ PeerBet: -0.815 btc

Obviously, we are in the midst of a pretty big transformation, starting with a drastic cut in expenses across the board. As most have seen, we are also looking to sell our position in PeerBet.org and Bit777.com as we do not have the necessary resources to effectively grow and market those properties.

Aside from cutting costs, our main focus for the foreseeable future is advancing BitcoinRush.io, and turning a profit so we can get back to producing quarterly dividends. Our VIP (daily comp) program has yielded an increase in action (and revenue) in our casino, and we have partnered with a new SEO firm that has hands-on experience in the competitive online gaming (iGaming) marketplace.

As we approach the busiest season for us, we are looking at various options with our Sportsbook, including cutting it completely or finding another 3rd party to manage the risk. We've been searching for months without success, so if someone has a referral - please let us know.

Still no July numbers?

Thanks for the update, I hope you will be able to keep your sportsbook and hopefully add more options over time. However I like the bitcoin rush game and new website.  Grin

I found this interesting article on the art of bookmaking, I didn't really understand how bookmakers balance out their books but it seems to make sense. Are you actively managing your risk on the sportsbook? I guess having a third party manage risk means you can develop other areas of the site.

Regarding the last post I've been about to ask - can you provide us some info about your bookmaker? Does he/she has experiences from some "real business"? . . .
