Thanks CasinoBitco, it's good to see you are working on improving the sportsbook. Keep up the good work.  Smiley

As much as I'd like to receive a dividend, I think they're being responsible about growing their business.

From the beginning the sportsbook was nothing but dead weight. If you would just cut it down and pay the casino earnings as a dividend, everbody who holds shares would be better of.

You should follow gamebet.gg and turn the sportsbook into a p2p platform where you just set odds, and take a 2% rake when people bet against each other. Owning counterparty risk is for suckers. Also, add Esports.

Good to hear some news from you guys Smiley

Looking through the numbers it shocks me how bad the sports-book did. I always assumed the house edge was so good you couldn't lose in the long run, but if the bookmaker making the lines is way off then that would explain it.

Did you guys try to balance your own sports book or is it always done by a partner? Are you able to disclose which one?

I suspect some people got impatient looking for dividends. The downtime on Havelock likely made a few people skittish as well.

So this casino IPOd @฿0.00018000, and, after 2+ years in operation, is still not paying divs while trading @฿0.00000550? (what is that, ~ 97% loss?)
Reminds me of that debate a while back, whether pulling the plug on persistent vegetative state patients is the thing to do.

Company made, what, 15 BTC this quarter? Extrapolate out to around $27k/year profit.

Probably not the best candidate for a publicly traded company, but not vegetative either. The operators appear to know what they're doing, and they could increase the profitability in the short-term (with longer term ramifications) by cutting things like ads and new development.

Disclosure: I have a small (tiny?) investment in the company.

Company paid 0 BTC this quarter. Extrapolate out to around 0 BTC/year profit to marks.
Company lost  ~ 97% of its share price during its lifetime. Extrapolate out to around ~ 97% loss to marks.

Probably not the best candidate for a publicly traded company, correct.

This company's performance will depend a lot on how Bitcoin and Crypto currencies in general perform and grow in the general population.

And by the looks of things this is going to be a very slow process.

Judging by the financials, things are steady(ish) and growing slowly but still in its infancy. I wouldn't imagine handing out dividends at this stage would be wise, i think putting those funds back into the business is a better option.

I can understand if people have invested a lot and are not seeing any return might be a bit pissed. But anyone who has been watching the crypto space over the last few years should see that it was over hyped and over saturated with shit IPOs and shit coins most of which lost 97% of their value or just disappeared.

I am only a small shareholder (but still accumulating), i'm happy enough waiting plenty more years.

Its my view that when Crypto takes off properly so will every company that's still around that uses it.

I see you're still around as well (wasn't sure before). How's it going?

If anyone is interested in selling their CBTC shares (min 500 to 100k+) at 400 satoshi a piece please message me and we can arrange a deal (over Havelock).

Thank you.

Has anyone made any money in investing in Havelock funds?
From looking at their site all the funds go down over time.
Has anyone made money with them?

I'm down this year, but up around 200% over the past 3 years. We're only talking about a fraction of one BTC though. I trade very infrequently, and stay close to 100% invested (Havelock is pretty sketchy, but I think/hope that CBTC would move everyone's shares elsewhere in worst case scenario).

Waiting for Ultrafinery or whatever his current login is to chime in now. Smiley

Not feeling the love, how is this possible?
My only fault is this Cassandraic gift, yet I'm reviled and shunned by the very same intrepid investors my prophesies meant to rescue from laughably lazy cons investings.
They shoot prophets, don't they?
