Much bigger, in-depth, update coming early this week. Focus will be not just on the  acquisition - but also on some development strides we've taken based on feedback from this thread!

Where is the midmonth report? And there was supposed to be a huge update early this week?

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

Current Earnings for period ending 1/15/2014
Sportsbook: +9.03 BTC
Casino: +5.7 BTC
Total Earnings: +14.73 BTC

CasinoBitco.in showed continued consistent revenue early in 2014. As many other Bitcoin Sportsbooks begin to experience liquidity issues, decreasing limits, and other restrictions - CBTC continues to move in the opposite direction, picking up new players along the way! Many new players tried CBTC for the first time this month, posting a record 214 new player registrations in this period! In addition, we’ve increased our  "active accounts" to over 1,400, and earned a well over expectations 14.73 BTC in total this period. Volume was up overall, especially around ancillary sports like MMA and Tennis with the Australian Open.

We just recently launched our new redesigned homepage which was inspired by some of our Investor's suggestions. The most apparent changes we've made is making the entry into our Provably Fair Casino games much more prevalent. We're confident this will help us grow adoption into our Casino while also giving us a nice SEO boost for more lucrative search terms around Bitcoin Gambling and Bitcoin Casino. Over the next 2 weeks, we will be rolling out similar style changes to the rest of CasinoBitco.in. We're also roughly 2 weeks away from launching our 5th Provably Fair Casino Game - Video Poker!

With regards to our potential acquisition, while we are bound to strict NDA clauses, we can report that both parties are still at the table negotiating the terms.

Looks really good!

Everything pointing up up up! You need to make sure all the links on the front page works tho, and make sure you can log in from the front page!

Also, where are you in the course of launching the PR-campaign? After the video poker?  Will you also add slots soon?

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

Cheers! Yes, we are still making some updates to the homepage, specifically bringing back authentication. "Peer games" which is our NFL Suicide Pool and Super Bowl Squares (and more games coming after) will be wired up later this evening.

Few more questions

1) Will you add slots to the casino? I think that would be really good for profits

2) Is the affilliate program paying off? Any numbers you can share here?

3) Will you run any promotions? Many casinos/books offer deposit bonuses e.tc.

4) The PR-campaign. When will you launch it?

Thanks!

Is there anyway we or havelock can verify these numbers? Eg blockchain address? Or other methodology? Thanks.

totally agree with uvwvj.

in addition, casino vs sports book - i think sports book may grow better. looking into accept real-time betting or even live feeds odds may add value to the game.

regards to promo - a simple monthly rakeback to give back to punters will be good.

for eg.
total amount bet (month of jan) = 1.0 btc
rakeback rate = 0.001%
total rakeback = 0.001 btc

just my 2 cents...

Thanks!

Here are my thoughts

1.  Slots take more time and money programming then other games that may have higher payouts.  Will they ultimately be added I think so but I don't see them as a necessity yet.  I think after the Video Poker gets released the need for 2 Factor authentication should be next programmed step, because right now a lot (myself included) won't leave BTC laying around a site and thus removes it quickly after playing or betting.  If you leave BTC on the site their is more possibility of someone "drunk" playing on their phone, ipad or such which I have done there, instead of transferring BTC to site.

2.  I believe the affiliate program is paying off, but a lot of the gamblers here are already using places so some affiliates would be seeing better returns then others. As adoption grows so will affiliate program.

3.  Right now promotions (rollovers) is where CBTC lacks some steam against other places, but again right now there is no paid employees like other places.  If you pay employees do run such promotions that comes out prior to investors prized dividends.

4.  PR-campaign - Most people here who use BTC know CBTC and use it, some prefer others places but use CBTC also.  There is no point doing a PR campaign and spending BTC to try to gain users that are already using CBTC or other reputable books/casinos.  Mass adoption has not taken place in BTC the run up to $1,000 was big investor money and we are not done there yet.  Once mass adoption happens then is the time to do PR, and that mass adoption could be when BTC starts to hit $10,000 - so why spend 10 BTC now when you can spend 1BTC later for more USD gains.

I cannot understand why this stock is staying so flat.

Most likely because there are nearly 8,000,000 shares on the market. Those that want to own this stock do; there's not a huge rush to buy in right now because of the massive amount of shares on the market.

The profits from the site right now aren't terrible (on a per-share basis), but low to single digit returns (on an annual basis) aren't much. The site is going to have to do a lot more business and generate a lot more profit to really move the share price.

A Good solid start to the new year. I like the new look to the web site as well.  Grin

Glad to hear the Australian tennis open is having a positive impact. It would be good to see some more sports added over time such as cricket, rugby, Aussie rules football etc. This should help attract more customers from other parts of the world...

Keep up the good work.  Smiley

With all due respect mr e, you're not only worrying about the wrong thing, you're thinking about your investment in the wrong way. If I may:

27 is exactly right, the share price is flat because "Those that want to own this stock do".

Why don't more people want to own it? Much of it has to do with being listed on a virtual exchange that trades in a digital currency. Virtual, BTC-denominated exchanges are small and have a limited number of participants. This is not likely to change as barriers to entry are formidable. Probably the biggest is the currencies' wild fluctuations in value and overall rapid appreciation. But beyond this, "real" investors won't go near virtual exchanges because they're unregulated, foreign, and participation requires conversion from fiat to BTC. So, unless you have a large stash of the dosh already, you're likely to go elsewhere to put your money to work in the BTC economy, and currently there are plenty of those opportunities - 2013 changed everything for BTC. We're not in Kansas anymore......

As CasinoBitco.in continues to improve it's product and gain marketshare it will almost certainly attract venture capital money or an outright buyer. In either scenario, virtual exchange shareholders are, flat out, nothing but a nusance. No one knows what to do with them. You either have to negotiate a buyout (ie satoshidice), legitimize them somehow (ie VirtEx), or just screw them over (so sue me...). This should be your concern.

Meanwhile, think of your investment in CasinoBitco.in as the price of participation and ownership in an exciting start-up; you're an angel investor. It may hit big. You may lose it all. Either way, it's not IBM on the Dow Jones.

I want to know how you plan to market CasinoBitco.in and taking market share?

What is the major benefit of CasinoBitco.in over most gambling sites that exist today?

I'd appreciate it if CasinoBito could comment on the above and how he sees this security under that lens.

With regards to our potential acquisition, while we are bound to strict NDA clauses, we can report that both parties are still at the table negotiating the terms.

Are there any updates on these negotiations?  I was under the impression that you had to move quickly.  If it's not happening then will you still be retaining shareholder funds?
