when we do not have reserves sometimes therein lies the panic sell, that's what I alamin for about trading. but if it's a gift I think we do not need to panic because the future progress should we follow.

Panic selling is not good because you might do something that you will regret later or might get low profit, so i suggest juct be calm and relax when you know there's dropping in the market because it is the right thing to do and it is the best thing you can do to avoid losing profit to get. Also panic selling cannot help you to get earn a lot, and might get worse thing happen when you panic so if you feel that, just dont do some action just calm and wait until the market is rising.

The market of cryptocurrency is quite stable and there are a lot of very experienced traders, I can't imagine what could happen so that the BTC price would fall less than $3000. So it's unlikely to see panic sell.

Sounds like holding would be your only good option for now, selling while value is so low is not good, maybe if you sold right at the beginning of the decline and then repurchased a little further down would have worked but you would make a big loss at the moment depending on when you invested. Panic selling will just give more problem in the market of cryptocurrency.
If you do this you will lose money on your holdings that will give you better future if you just keep it holding.
Remember to buy when more coins and tokens when the market is down. Thats the best time to buy

somehow, I agree with you and it's not a good idea to let the coins to and get our money back because we don't know how much we lost. be patient like espellogo7 said and just waiting and if you still have money, you can buy again the coin in the low price and you can add another amount for the coin. we all have the experience of this downtrend, but if we can patient for a while, then we can recover the money that we lose and it will replace with a big profit.

We are in panic selling coin when the market has a bull run  but I think this is not the solution because we can still loss some earnings instead of that I better to hodl for a long time and choose to buy more cheaper coin until it will recover again.
