I was wondering which one was your favorite out of the two cryptocurrencies? I think Ethereum has proved to be more flexible than Bitcoin even though Bitcoin is making the biggest noise

Both Bitcoin and Ethereum are powered by the principle of distributed ledgers and cryptography, the two differ in many technical ways. For example, the programming language used by Ethereum is Turning complete whereas Bitcoin is in a stack based language. However, from a general point of view, Bitcoin and Ethereum differ in purpose. While Bitcoin is created as an alternative to regular money and is thus a medium of payment transaction and store of value, Ethereum is developed as a platform which facilitates peer-to-peer contracts and applications via its own currency vehicle. While Bitcoin and Ether are both digital currencies, the primary purpose of Ether is not to establish itself as a payment alternative (unlike Bitcoin) but to facilitate and monetize the working of Ethereum to enable developers to build and run distributed applications

In sum, Ethereum is an advancement based on the principle of blockchain that supports bitcoin but with a purpose that does not compete with Bitcoin. However, the popularity and rising market capitalization of Ether brings it in competition with all cryptocurrencies, especially from the trading perspective. Currently, the market cap of Ether (ETH) is more than Ripple and Litecoin, although it’s far behind Bitcoin (BTC). On the whole, Bitcoin and Ethereum are different versions using the blockchain technology, and are set to establish themselves, driven by different intentions.

Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the first and I consider as a gold. Not only that just for holding your Bitcoin I get high return profit. But when it comes to trading I think Ethereum is a good choice for trading.

I like them both, with Bitcoin being the most valuable and well known cryptocurrency which is also being used as a store of value. Despite Bitcoin being volatile it’s gain in value has always overlapped it’s temporary drops, it also has the advantage of being the first to market which has allowed it to gain the trust of many big companies such as Microsoft which have integrated Bitcoin as a payment option.Ethereum on the other hand is also first to market for what it does, hear me out real quick, Ethereum is not just a cryptocurrency, it is a blockchain based technology that allows developers to create powerfull “DApps” (dectralized applications) which can perform revolutionary functions such as automated smart contracts which could remove the need for a middle man in any business or transaction. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum are groundbreaking and have the potential to have a massive impact on the way we handle and use money as well as the we we conduct business and raise funds, this is the reason why I personally hold both.If you plan on investing in either Bitcoin or Ethereum I recommend CEX which allows you to buy both from anywhere in the world, Coinmama is also another great option to buy both Bitcoin and Ethereum with worldwide availability. If you are based in Europe you can try BitPanda which offers you Bitcoin and Ethereum plus 2 other highly valued cryptocurrencies but at the moment they only allow people living in Europe to verify their accounts and purchase cryptocurrency.Bitcoin is currently in the lead and is the most popular trading pair out of the two but Ethereum is following closely behind as we are beginning to see ETH trading pairs on popular exchanges, not to mention Ethereum being added to fiat based, direct purchase exchanges like the ones mentioned above. Bitcoin and Ethereum might even end being the Apple and Google (in terms of popularity) of the cryptocurrency world, I believe both are definitely here to stay and I cannot wait to see how they change the personal, corporate and financial landscapes.

Both bitcoin and ethereum are good but i prefer bitcoin than ethereum because the price of bitcoin that is really bigger than ethereum and bitcoin is the biggest trade volume in cryptocurrency also bitcoin is like the core of crypto, everytime the bitcoin price change, it will effect other altcoins too.
Bitcoin is the priory and I would suggest it to everyone else too. No doubt Ethereum is also an amazing crypto coin but honestly, it is not as good a bitcoin is. It can’t yield even half of the profits that bitcoin can. A person should invest at least 60 to 70 percent of his amount in bitcoin and remaining in Ethereum. Even after remaining as the king of altcoins, Ethereum is too weak for being opponent of bitcoin.

This is a very complex question, and it’s next to impossible to give a definite answer. The reason being all of these have their pros and cons and virtually no one can give you more than a speculation. Here are the main points about all of these currencies:

Bitcoin - even though it’s not the very first currency out there, it certainly is the most popular and successful as of now. The market cap is way above all the other ones. It is often referenced to as digital gold, sort of an asset that gained enough momentum that it will remain valuable for time to come.

Having said that, this does mean that the network is overloaded leading to major delays in transfers, it has many major governments trying to regulate (and often limit) its use, it became next to impossible to mine and the price of coins as well as the transaction fees are way up there, so much so that it hardly makes sense to invest if you don’t have rather hefty amounts to throw at it.

Ether - Made using Ethereum, this currency has seen more than impressive growth. As of the beginning of 2018 it successfully surpassed 4 digits USD value for a single coin. The main advantage is the use of Ethereum on the backend, which is now used by many others to build blockchain based decentralized applications. It is way easier to understand and learn than the code behind bitcoin. For this reason, Ethereum has relevancy like no other and is being used by many institutions for all sorts of things.

However, since the code is very young and decentralized, it is prone to bugs that can be pretty detrimental when they occur on big transactions. Also, the main thing that gives Ether the advantage that it currently has, which is the fact that it’s build on Ethereum, might be taken away from it if another, even more user friendly platforms occurs.

There is no right or wrong answer on it. It's a personal preference. I like Bitcoin more than ETH.  But, not a bad idea to have both. They are the best projects out there.
I am also in favor of this idea of combining both of the successful virtual currencies of the crypto market. Those who have invested into both of them last year were the ones who had made maximum profit when the bitcoin set a new record followed by ethereum. If we do deep analysis of both coins, we come to the conclusion that bitcoin is best for long term holding and ethereum is for trading and short term.

Do you care mostly about the pricing of the crypto or are there other factors?

I like both coin: BTC and ETH. Since entering the cryptocurrency market, I have always supported these two coins. It helps my income stream to grow. I will always support BTC and ETH in the present and in the future.
In the entire list of the crypto currencies which are there in this world, the best crypto coins are none other than that of bitcoin and ETH and that these are also the top-rated crypto coins as well. These are coins which are having the maximum number of investors and that these coins are also having the highest demand in the crypto market and that because of which, the investors get an opportunity of making more money.

Both coin have their advantages on their own. Bitcoin as first cryptocurrency offering safety and good investment and biggest liquidity. Ethereum offering good platform that used by many platform. Better choose and collect both

I prefer etherium when it comes on investment. Bith Bitcoin and etherium are good cryptos to invest also, etherium is just proportional with Bitcoin when it comes to the ups and downs in the market. So the advantage of Etherium as such is that it has a way lower market value than Bitcoin which will allow people to invest huge amount into it unlike in bitcoin which has an expensive market value.

Your right. Most people must prefer bitcoin than eth.Bitcoin has an incredible prices and Ethereum with a reliable ICO project project will sometimes greatly enlarge.. The two cryptos has its own chatacteristics thats make its individual uniqueness.. If we do deep analysis of both coins, we come to the conclusion that bitcoin is the best for long term holding and ethereum have a short term trading.

Personally, I have more bitcoin in the bank than ETH. All the same, it has a large capitalization and populateness. Perhaps soon there will be support at the state level.

Both parties are good to invest. because you can benefit with both and make more coins more popular because of them. In investing, I prefer or choose both because in today's digital currencies that compete with each value or have more value

Well for me i choose bitcoin because it is one of my favorite in terms of leadership and the unstoppable popularity in crypto. The unstoppable value of bitcoin is increasing even it experience the falling of price it wouldn't the very reason to stop it. Every year things happened are not the same as what happened before. There should be  upgrading of system if needed. So I like it than ethereum. Nevertheless, ethereum have a good potential in the future and we dont know or we keep on having speculations how it possible to be happend about ethereum in the future.
