Hi, I am thinking about buying an antminer s1.
How does it work exactly concerning the payment? Kraken.com charges 0.0005 xtc. Would I have to add them to the payment amount? I'm asking because I don't want to delay the shipping because there might be 0.0005 xtc missing.
Thanks

thats a question for kraken.com, not bitmain. if in doubt, send 0.0005 extra

I have two Antminer S1's ordered awhile back running and mining on Comcast. I just got two more at another location with Uverse. The Antminers can be accessed at their ip addresses, but will not mine. Default gateway 192.168.1.254
Any ideas, I tried many things to no avail. Hard wired ethernet and can browse from that connection from a laptop. Two working units have same configuration on Comcast, except for different ip's.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hey Bitmain,
I'm still waiting for *any* word on my order after 2+ days ... :-(
Please let us know if anything is going on? How long until you'll recognize my order as being legit?
I ordered on your site with the same username ... please catch up and get these orders processed!

Same problem. I paid 2 miners and 2013/03/23 transactions was confirmed at site. But still there is no emails. Does they so busy with Antminer S2 that can't find time for service us?

why is your gateway 192.168.1.254? About 70% of modems use 192.168.1.1

Ok ... my order and payment from almost three days ago has finally been confirmed, but not shipped. YEA!! Now ... PLEASE ship my miner ... ;-) BitMain, The fact that I have a confirmed payment is fine and all ... but my Ant Miner S1 *STILL* is not showing as shipped. :-( I placed Order: 00120140319210344142S4hj0DPU065C on the 19th of the month ... and you charged me 0.988 BTC. Confirmation finally came through 2+ days later ... and now it's been silence with no indication of shipping. On your site you state: "Shipping out within 48 hours after full payment BITMAIN always ships fast" I understand that your systems were built dependent on BlockChain.info, but by the time - 2+ days late - you confirmed my payment you still charged me the full 0.988 BTC. Even though you dropped the price to 0.938 BTC you have not refunded me the 0.05 BTC that you cost me with your delays. I wouldn't really care about this if you can then shipped the unit when you confirmed my payment - which is now 2+ days ago - but now my order has not shipped. It is now 5+ days later I'm not clear on when my unit is shipping. BitMain, PLEASE ship my Ant Miner S1 ... or give us an update on why the 48 hour commitment is now not being met. Or give me the 0.05 BTC discount that you dropped the price? Or both? I really don't care about much of this if you would simply ship my unit! :-) Please? I have an order from the 19th that is outstanding that I have the same problem with. I was totally expecting to see it shipped today

Does anyone know how to get hold of another controller/openwrt board? I PMéd BITMAIN and got no reply, I think my board has gone, the green light on the ethernet stays on solid, no activity light, just sits there and does nothing, completely unresponsive, tried holding down the little S1 (reset?) button, no good.

Not to be a jerk, but by your own account your order didn't confirm until March 21st around 10am which would be around 10pm on a Friday in China (after business hours)... since shipping can't happen on Sunday, it doesn't appear to me that your order is late (48 hours obvious doesn't include non-business days, just like everything else ever ordered on the internet ever).
The blockchain.info fiasco affected thousands of peoples order from Bitmain and other retailers, give them a break, it wasn't their fault.
It stinks that you feel like you've lost some mining time, but Bitmain has been an upstanding part of the ASIC community since they started shipping units a few months ago. To try to hold them accountable for something this miner (pun intended) that was out of their control seems a little beggy.
Anyways, I'm sure you'll get you shipping information tonight (since it'll be Monday over there), so don't sweat the small stuff and happy mining!
Well, since neither of us are being a jerk, I'm sure that you'll want to jump in again and make excuses for BitMain ... again. Now it's 10PM on Monday in Shenzhen, and I've been waiting over 6+ days for my order to ship ... and not received any discount in the purchase due to their price change ... I'm sure that you have yet another set of excuses for their not shipping. Now, per your excuse about weekends, I import from China as a business and *many* of the businesses work and ship on weekends - unlike your claim. In addition, the BitMain website says *nothing* about "Shipping out within 48 hours after full payment, BITMAIN always ships fast as long as it's not a weekend, or if we screwed up and relied on a API to a platform that might be unreliable!" The prices of the Ant Miner S1 is now 0.0918 BTC ... I have not seen my refund for the 0.07 BTC extra that I paid not to get mine either. BTW ... this is NOT my first purchase from them, and I'm not writing this hear to get feedback from a fanboy ... I'm writing to ensure that others are clear what they are going to be dealing with if they order right now. I believe that MY actions are being a true supporter of the community ... rather than to try and cover up the behavior of a vendor with excuses. That being said, the reason that I ordered yet another Ant Miner is that I *really* like the product, and my prior experiences were so good! The last unit that I ordered from them on the 11th shipped on the 12th ... I was happy with that process and delivery. This time they have obviously got themselves into trouble and are unable to keep to their commitments, and have not been in communications. IF they would at least be more open and communicate with us - not individually but as a whole here on this thread - I would feel more comfortable. They could be writing even one post a day explaining their current backlog and expected waiting times ... but they are not. I'm glad that YOU are so comfortable with your order and BTC being held up ... exactly how many units do YOU have stuck on order with BitMain at this time, and for how long?

UPDATE: As of 15 minutes ago, my Ant Miner S1 arrived! The BitMain website - for this order from the 19th - still says "Unshipped" and on the order details there is NO indication that they shipped my order (maybe I'll get another one for free?), no tracking information, nothing like the past orders ... but the Ant Miner S1 showed up! I'm disappointed that they were unable to communicate well on their site, or here on the thread. .. but they *DID* deliver! So now I'm off to install another Ant Miner S1!

why is your gateway 192.168.1.254? About 70% of modems use 192.168.1.1 I guess because it is att Uverse... when I do an ipconfig it lists gateway as 192.168.1.254... I also set up a DMZ but still will not mine... My guess is Uverse is still blocking... Need some ideas? Thanks

Thanks 192.168.1.254 is a very common gateway - what to do is do a network scan using a free IP scanner find out what the router IP is make sure that is set to default OR you can set up a bridge between a laptop and switch and create a mini lan but plug and play should not be an issue make sure you have put worker details in correct also they might have a firewall blocking the ports

Had my miners running for four days straight with no issues..... suddenly all four stopped mining. After much consternation I determined that the miners had stopped communicating outside my network - my miners are located in a business setting rather than on a home network. It turns out that the problem was due to the factory DNSMasq DHCP server settings and moving from static IP to DHCP for mining. With the assistance of my network admin we determined the following solution: Under the Network -> DHCP and DNS tab: - Removed the option for only DHCP Server on the LAN..because it would potentially broadcast.
- Unchecked “This is the only DHCP in the local network” from the Sever Settings
- Disabled the LAN interface completely because it's unused and did a hard network reset from command line
- Added an entry for the “DNS Forwardings”
- Don't know why it needs to have DNSMasq running, but we left it and put in the settings manually
- They put in router functionality with enabling DHCP/DNS Forwarding and WifiAP functionality - It should pull it automatically from DHCP
Bottom line is that the network config as shipped may lead to issues that are not well understood or solved.

i just got 2 new antminers s1, first one is working perfectly, but i cant connect to the other one, when i try to connect to the s1 ip address, it gives me this message:
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:211: /etc/config/luci seems to be corrupt, unable to find section 'main' stack traceback: [C]: in function 'assert' /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:211: in function 'dispatch'
I found that, that usualy happens when u dont have enough juice ....
