Antminer S1 Sales open  Smiley

Sorry, can you PLEASE update people on the status of the U-line hardware?  You never responded to PM's or emails after I went to setup a group buy, I see random and conflicting information from different areas of the forum, etc.  This is poor customer service in an industry where you're one of the few respectable ASIC companies.

how are coupons distributed? after every sale?
I got a coupon after my first antminer, used this for my second one.
Will i get a coupon from buying the second one or will this only happen when you buy without coupon?
I want to buy 2 more antminers so if that is the case, should i buy 1 now, wait for the coupon i get because of that one and then order the 2nd one?

please clarify the coupon process.

Nope, no import taxes from China to US on "computer hardware".

Please guys, can you respond to PM / email / multiple forum threads where people are asking about the U line of products?  You've been on here multiple times to comment on the S1's but have said nothing.  I created and dissolved a group buy since the last time you responded about these and yet you're saying nothing.  Please communicate.

These should be buy 1 get 1 free.  Or .45BTC (at the very least).  These will never ROI unless you save your coins and pray bitcoin goes up.

Just got these in today - I have several dozen for sale and can order more if required.

6-pin PCI-e connector (black)
30cm, 16AWG wires (yellow and black)
tinned ends on wire  (1cm tinned)

These are solid connectors and far superior to the garbage 18AWG connectors found on ebay. I have yet to test them on hardware, but there should be absolutely no problem carrying 200W or more (potentially upwards of 250W) through these leads. (In comparison, I have seen other cheap 18awg wiring melt or burn at over 150W)

SHIPPING FROM TORONTO, CANADA

1-4 units: $3.50 each
5-10 units: $2.75 each
11-20 units: $2.25 each

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

Those look like the leads are ~1ft long. Is that correct, and can you get them a little longer, say 2ft?

Let me know where you find gear for 2.6$ /Gh, VAT included and mining in less than a week.

I wait. Embarrassed

they are 30cm (11.9"?) so yeah about a foot.

I can definitely get them made longer, such as 2ft, for probably not much more, but am unable to do so until I organise selling off some of this current batch.  The wires are really good and thick so there is zero chance of these burning up due to shitty 18-22awg stuff will. If you look at the image the tinned ends are FAT

I got these to terminal to some fat 8AWG wiring that comes off my server PSUs (rather than solder dozens of thin wires to the supply), since that lets me run a few pci-e leads per 8AWG cable

Yeah, that is an option as well. I have four 1300W HP power supplies and am just going to solder four cables directly onto the power leads and the extra length would be good. I suppose I could do a butt connection though, it would be easy enough.

Hello friends, I am sorry to barge in, but will this ^^^ connector above allow me to run my biterupter cube off straight DC 12v at say 20 amps spike voltage? or whatever it needs?

I do not want to fry my cube.  Also, I do not want to continue the loud power supply.  I do have a soldering iron.  Thanks!  ^^^ This connector above seems perfect to plug right into the power connectors on my bit eruptor cube, but how shall I not fry it with too much surge?  Shalln't anyone make a way to ditch the power supply from the BE cube?  Thanks, I will watch this thread and learn!

the connector is a PCI-e so yes it will fit the block erupter cube. The wires are thick and it can definitely handle 20A peak (I would be a bit cautious going any higher without babysitting it until you are sure it is not getting hot).  the leads can be joined to a 12V power supply however you please (soldering them to a server PSU to use with antminers is my primary use)

UPS had a plane delay:

Shenzhen, China    04/10/2014    10:32 P.M.    Departure Scan
04/10/2014    9:52 P.M.    A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible. / Released by Clearing Agency. Now in-transit
Shenzhen, China    04/10/2014    9:39 P.M.    A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible.

This is my order on April 7th, the day Bitmain resumed selling. I won't be receiving it on Friday, 04/11/2014, as originally planned. Damn you, UPS. No word on ETA yet. Damn you, UPS!

Depending on where you are in the world.  If it gets to Alaska UPS hub in a few hrs. they will make up the time and all is well.  Usually I get delivery a day earlier then what is posted from China.  At least for North American shipments they are flying into the time changes which benefits us.  I have 2 miners on this plane.  If they do not deliver Friday we are toast till Monday.
