At some point, yes. It can pose a threat and danger to people using it. We all know that cryptos run on a decentralized platform and there is no way of tracking people because this community supports pseudonimity. If ever people can be tracked, that'll take a good amount of time and resources. Because of this freedom, abusive people use it for immoralities and crimes like money laundering, drug dealing, etc. I believe most of us had this first impression of bitcoin way before, right? And no one denies it. That is true. That is why some countries ban the use of it, to prevent this occurences within their territory and to protect their people. Next is the new KYC policy. How sure are we our data won't leak? That's a threat to our personal lives right? Involving yourself in crypto community is indeed a risk. Thatb is why we should all take extra precautions on our actions.

Dangerous to those people who doesnt know what they are doing,but for those people who knows how the things work it is much easier to get profits from cryptocurrencies.Risking big amount of money without any proper research would result into one thing,loss which can be prevented thru researching a lot before getting into something.

The only thing that make those countries banning bitcoin is the fear that their economy will be shaken by the existence of bitcoin, if the country has relatively small market capitalization and their people massly investing into bitcoin, they will have no funds left circulating as if someone invest to bitcoin, the money will be owned by somewhere else across the world, not in the same country.

I dont think some countries ban it because it is dangerous, but rather because crypto is decentralised and they will not have control of it.

I completely agree with you. Currency itself bitcoin is not dangerous. and on the contrary it is a prospect and in this financial situation for people, salvation from financial dependence is not. And the authorities do not like it.

it is dangerous to them who are afraid that it will corrupt their current ways of doing things and expose them to the public.

From my point of view, it labelled as dangerous and banned by goverment because they can't control it. It's about power, anonimity and uncertainty. Cryptocurrency does not have a single rate like fiat money, the rate can even change several times a day. And then because of the anonimity of the cryptocurrency, it's easier to used on black market. Money laundry, scams, deep web stuff, and even worse stuff that we couldn't imagine. Thats why Goverment see it as a threat, I guess.

Most of the people do not talk about this. But cryptocurrencies became more dangerous because of Black money cleaning and Drug transactions. Governments can't track these transactions senders and receivers. So in that case, recent history increased these suspicious activities. That is the main reason they going to ban and regulate cryptocurrency transactions.

Your information is wrong, there aren't that many countries that have made crypto illegal.
The vast majority of countries don't have regulations with quite a few that openly embrace it.
There are some that regulate it, but nothing special, they just apply the same laws towards investments to crypto.

The reason why there is still this idea floating around that crypto is shady most likely has to do with the black market.
One of the biggest online markets on the darknet was silk road, a place where you can buy drugs, guns, anything.
The major form of payment was btc.

Silk Road eventually got shut down but people see btc as "dangerous" because it is anonymous.
They then assume that all crypto is dangerous.

To me, crypto is not dangerous, but very beneficial.
