Yes crypocurrency market is dangerous, its like bed of roses and pricks. when we make profit we feel the rose  and when we we make loss we feel the pricks . crypto markets have so many issues like volatility, manipulation lack of regulation etc but we can still make profit if we go with the trends. One should enter into crypto market with strong mind not like looser who sales his asset in panic mod and contributes whales to become rich.

Perhaps, you mean risky? If yes, then sure that there are certain risks when buying and selling cryptocurrency. I think that despite the fact that risk is involved trading crypto is a very good method to earn money.

Maybe the ICO boom has ruined all the crypto groups as there is far too many and most die off after the initial hype once listed on exchanges. There was not the mass influx on ICO’s back then and you had time to look into them properly rather than 10 getting hyped every week.

High volatility and market manipulation, that what makes crypto industry dangerous in my view.
Exactly for this reason, many countries are trying to make some regulations so that big investors can join the market.
You must understand that countries are banning bitcoin only for some time, to make proper regulations, expect exchanges and so on.
When this work will be done, i'm 99% sure most of those countries will allow bitcoin again.

Crypto world could be risky but certainly not dangerous. You question seems to point out the fact that few countries ban crypto. Yes but it is simply because the state does not want to recognize any other currency that is not centralized. Cryptocurrency is basically decentralised as well as transparent. However, regularizing it is a very difficult job for any state. It is an alternate currency and it challenges the use of fiat currency on several fronts. Countries which are ardent followers of the old fiat system will not easily let cryptocurrency rule their markets.

The one problem with cryptocurrency is the anonymity of the person performing the transaction. The blockchain system ensures that the transaction itself is transparent however, who is making this transaction remains ever hidden. This has at times lead to a few unpleasant happenings that are illegal or criminal in nature and have utilized cryptocurrency as part of their transactions especially due to the fact that anonymity is maintained. It is not easy to trace the person behind a transaction.

Another problem is hacking and theft. If several bitcoins were stored in one wallet then there is always a risk of hacking and theft from a wallet. This risk of scammers is also a concern for several states to consider bitcoin as a serious option. Hence, a ban need not necessarily imply danger. It may also mean that managing could become difficult for some countries which rely strongly on fiat currencies. This I am sure will change for the better in times ahead.

Dangerous in what sense? It doesn't look dangerous for me. However, if you use the coins for illegal use (criminal activities, drug smuggling.etc), then it is a different story. Also, you need to keep your coin holdings hidden, if you are residing in a country where crypto is banned.

Of course it's dangerous.  You don't need to be a rocket scientist to realize that.
All you have to do is take a look at the value of crypto over the past couple years.
It's been bouncing up and down like a funky monkey.

There is extreme volatility in crypto, more people lose money in this than gain.
You hear dream stories of btc millionaires, but people fail to realize the thousands and thousands of failure stories.

On top of that, there is skepticism and fear over the blockchain technology itself.
It is anonymous and distributed, the ledger itself can not be hacked.
The implications are huge.  Also, btc has a bit of a notorious history as being the mode of payment for dark web site Silk Road where people bought all kinds of illegal things.

But, with that being said, it is all fud and blockchain will be the future.
